Great video mate, and totally get what your saying, has appeared several times with me. But I just try to ignore it and crack on, as my enjoyment and channel engagement is what keeps me slogging through haha !!
its actually amazing how much having the channel pushes me on to get out and gets me out of my own head. Another thing that pushes me on is the love of just being outside and among nature, so forgetting the photography side of being out
There is nothing more depressing than watching someone like Nigel Dansen showing a image that looks better than most of my work and using it as an example of a terrible photo. A person just has to remember, these people do this for a living and have easy access to very photogenic locations. I do not have that advantage.
Remember that you need to be there at the shot, with Nigel, when he gets it. Otherwise you have nothing to be jealous about, because you simply weren't there 😉
Only compare yourself to yourself 2 days ago 💪 once a month, re-edit some photos from the month before. That way you evolve your own photography and editing skills. And don't be scared to break the brainless rules of photography. Those rules are only guidelines. Not the law.
