72 had narrow white walls, the neighbor bought a new 73 red Eldo convertible and her white walls came off the showroom floor with a greek key design . It was a gorgeous car. Always like the lines on the convertible Eldo better than the coupe from this era

I bought a 74 Eldorado from a guy at work and was sorry after I noticed my car was truly ugly compaired to the 72. The 72 headlight, grille, tail lights and bumpers were beautiful designs. The 74 had the hideously ugly huge rubber extensions on the front fenders, rear bumpers and taillights. These extensions made car look like boat / out of purportion.

I think a little skinnier white wall would make it look a little better
spackmaster Chavez that's what i thought as soon as I saw the car. Those seem to be three inches, the 1.5" would look way better.
