I’ve been watching clone wars AMVs since 2007, when most were still mostly side scrollers or when PIllAR and ASH were the most common bands to use for Clone Wars AMVs.
When this song came into the picture it soon replaced them and got such a long time- it’s lyrics, pacing and tone worked soo well that it honestly was acceptable to be used soo often. Then it wasn’t and now, it hasn’t been used in a AMV by a “established” AMV maker in such a long time that I honestly didn’t think I’d see it- especially with how most AMVs I’ve seen have gone with more “modernish” music as is the case all the time, I simply thought this song wouldn’t be used anymore.
But this- THIS is a surprise to be sure, but godamn welcomed one, thank you for this amazing revival of a AMV track. o7

Storm, I absolutely love love some of your vids like this and I hate others. A lot of that boils down to taste. While this this song is talking soldiers and I was a Marine I think you nailed it with the idea of men in combat surviving.
