If you’re on full frame you should try the sigma 10-18 2.8 I love using it on my fx3. Pull it to 12mm it goes past the vignette and you could still use nd filters
yooo thanks for the book recommendation; i bought it right away. i have terrible money anxiety, so this recommendation came at a really good time. also, the new lens looks amazing. this small change shows how much you care about the quality of your content. the lens you used in your past vlogs was perfectly fine, but you wanted to give your audience something even better. i love a creator who doesn't settle for "good enough."
I'm not a wide-angle lens person per se, but you use it so well and it looks amazing. And I've been freelance for the last 25 years and up until a several years ago traveled the globe for work. I was thrilled to leave on a job but also thrilled to see the NYC skyline upon return (now living/working in Chicago). Looking forward to more...!
Hi 👋 I first like to say that I really enjoy your content man. Whenever I feel down or tired during the week I always turn to your videos to get inspiration and just enjoy watching that makes me feel good, so thank you 🙏 Secondly I have a question. If you could only buy one microphone - Sony ECM M1 or DJI Wireless Mic 2 which would you buy?
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words ~ As for the mic, they really just have two different purposes so it’s hard to choose But for my vlogs I think the shotgun mic is more used
I was looking for a more discreet lens since I loved the size of the 10-18 but cannot resist the crispiness of G-Master glass. I've had the 16-35 GM and a 24-70 sigma with my A7iii and that image is unbeatable but it's soooo damn big! This one might be on the chonky side for me. I recently upgraded to the A7CR and paired it with the 24mm f/2.8 G lens and I think I just found the perfect balance of size + quality. If you ever get a chance to try the 24mm f/2.8 G lens I think you might really like it. This set up with the A7CR feels like I have a Leica Q but at a fraction of the cost.
Hey brother! awesome vlog! Love the lens. I am actually considering it also as a vlogging lens, can you share what you did in your case since this cannot attached any filters. having to use F1.8 in a daylight is a must for me. How did you solve it? in camera/ sensor nd filter?
The lens is really great! I will think about buying it. I would also love to see a video about your video settings for your camera. I have the same camera, but not a very good lens. The stabilization is always super bad and I am not sure if this is because of my lens or my settings.. I am very new into film making. Your videos are always sooo stabilized so I would be really interested in hearing more about this.. Keep up the great work!
Hey Tats, question about color correction. Do youshoot in S log 3 or cine? Are you using the official sony luts on top to color correct and then adding your own flavor on top ? I just got the a6700 and have been shooting in slog ( not cine) then using official sony luts.
Thanks for sharing!! I’m about to buy a ZV-E1 to use for vlogging and dance videos and I’m keen to get a decent lens with it too. Also so awesome to see another Sydney sider on the TH-cams 👋🏻
Wahh we are seeing your life through a brand new lens 🙈. And it's so beautiful😢. Can't wait to see you live in Japan someday! I visited last April and I couldn't stop thinking what's it like to live there 🥹. Maybe someday for me too 🙏
hey, adjacent to vlogging/filming, just wanna ask how extensively do you script your vids? i’m trying to make videos and unless it’s written verbatim i’m just enjoying the silence lol
It depends on the style of video! For these vlogs I usually don't script anything ahahaha I yap quite a lot ~ But for sit down videos I usually just write dot points rather than going word for word
📸 When you buy something you like it is smart shopping - at least that's what I tell myself 😅 New lens is looking good! Keep us updated if you notice the size/weight difference as you're filming more with it.
Solid video as always. If you like a nice wide prime I’d also check out the viltrox 13mm 1.4 it’s a solid lens and no distortion around the edges. Also wondering what crossbody sling you use? I like the wide strap and that it kind of falls to the side and down vs up tight and with a thin strap.
Would you rock this lens? 🤨
Hell yeah
Looks good! Didn’t expect a lense so wide could be a thing for vlogging ✌🏽
Looks so nice

@@michelsview you be surprised!

Great video as always! Loving the vibe and that wide angle lens is dope!
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Man your videos and colors are spot on! You shooting slog all the time? The grade is amazing
I can't begin to explain how much you inspire me and how much joy I get from watching the things you create. Keep it up! 🔥
Thank you for the kind comment ~
Welcome back Tatsuki, very calming intro to the vid and calming energy, keep up ur work ❤

You always give to me awesome vibes💛💫

I hope it resonates with you too!

The vibes are always immaculate bro, that new lens is awesome !!!
Thank you!
What equipments do you use whenever you go out for vlogging? Curious about your handheld stabilization
I made a video on this!
Have tried sigma 10-18mm f2.8, I've been using it. You'll love it. Please give it a go
I have not!
I use the Sony version because of the OSS :)
The image quality is insane for daily vlogs 😮
The new lens is awesome! It definitely fits your vlogging style. Definitely agree on practicing gratitude, it just makes you happier.
Thank you 🙏🏼
I agree, it's something you need when things are going well, so when things are not, you can manage ~
The Vibe On Your Videos Instantly Makes Me Feel Good. Thank You 🙏
Thank you ~
immaculate vibes as always ✨📸
🙏🏼
definitely looking forward to you living in japan !!
It will be fun!
I just bought Sony zv-e10, just using the kit lens for now but planning to checking out other lenses to help me make my videos better!
sigma combo 10-18mm f2.8 + 18-50mm f2.8 or tamron combo 11-20mm f2.8 + 17-70mm f2.8

@@PaoloMarasigan clip in ND filter! 3 stop is great :)
@ how brother? Inside the sensor?
The lens change is noticeable, sooo good!
🙏🏼
My current & fav lens is the sony e 11mm f1.8 lens!
Colors in this video specially in your apartment look SUPERB. Are you using Sony Alpha 7C as well for this new lens?
Thank you!
Yup the A7Cii !
Another glorious video mate, imaculate vibes! Also, come down to Melbourne some time! Maybe not in this weather though haha
Thank you as always!
Ahahaha maybe in the new year ~

It's a great lens but definitely not for everyone!
I don't use any stabilisation in camera, I just try to be very steady or on a tripod haha
The quality of this video is so much better.
🙏🏼
Such a dope video! How do you go about putting ND since the glass bulges?
Im actually playing around with a clip in (between the lens & sensor) and it seems to be working well
honestly might cop the unscented deo

I just love when you use brazillian music in the videos 😅 cheers from Brasil!
Thank you!
Loved the beginning cinematic sequence !
Thank you ~
Nice lens!!!
Do you record in 4K resolution or 1080p?
usually in 4k!
Wow! The 14 mm 1.8 looks amazing! Curious to know what you think about the 11 mm 1.8 apsc lens in comparison. 😊
Thank you!
I've never tried it, so I can't say :O
Nice to have found this channel, feels refreshing and good vibes! 👌
Thank you ~
welcome home! gonna miss japan vlogs for sure
Thank you 🙏🏼

Heyy quick question: what's your process to add handwritten drawings/text on your videos?
Drawn in procreate & used as a PNG file on top of my video ~
Go get LASIK tatsuki! It's worth it!!! Btw, you're a big inspo, bro! Love your vlogs
Ahahah I will one day ~
How can you use VND or how you filter the light 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I use a clip in nd filter!
always looking for a new tats vlog! me happy
how do you vlog with the 14mm, lens in day light without a ND filter?
Whoop whoooop!!! Loved this broski :) loved meeting you :3
Thank bro 🥹

Tatsuki living in Japan?! Hell yeah, I think it will be a good opportunity for your career
I think so too!
I had a feeling it was the 14mm f1.4 😂 video looking sooo crispy
So crispy!
Your videos are amazing, 😻
Thanks!
You are so cool and charismatic. I'm a woman and I can't seem to look past these qualities. May God bless you and your handiwork. ✝️💜
Thanks!
It's a little heavier than my previous wide angle but I think the quality difference is worth it this time ~
I love your videos🙂↔️
Thank you!
i loved the intro song
Me too!
do you only use one lens when you go to shoot vlogs like this ?
Usually yea haha
DAMN WIDE AS HELL
lolol
another banger dude
Thanks!
whats the chinese restaurant called?
In the most platonic, respectful, artistic, bro way: I'm in love with you. Off to sell an arm AND leg for that lens.
hhahahahahah
Thank you ~
It’s a bit expensive!
Definitely not a must but it does feel like a small upgrade from my previous wide angle
ok so can you drop 1 video/day i really love your videos 😭🫶
Ahahaha that's not going to happen but I can try 😅
Zv-e1 or fx30 or xh2s fuji
