And if you have chest pain & nobody is near by, pls don't panic, cough vigorously ( it helps to pump blood fast in heart) & then take deep breath 5 times, repeat this continuously. Then it'll be ok then you can go to doctor. Kindly share the message 🙏

I have one question to the family doctor in this case as such he saw severe strains and variations in ECG were it shows heart beats in interval were it had huge variations already so he could have administered immediately life saving drugs when he already had a word with cardiologist then transfer him in a proper ambulance....may be he would have bought some time until he reach Vikram hospital so that he could stabilise his condition

I have known Dr.Ramana Rao personally. He is a great doctor with a wonderful reputation. He did his best. This is very traumatic for him. Let's not tarnish Puneeth's reputation by making irresponsible accusations. Doctors do their best, but they cannot play God. The question here is who was training Mr. Puneeth Rajkumar on that fateful day at the gym or his residence during his work - out session .
Unfortunately in India we do not have a mechanism or an institution to train , regulate , educate and certify gym trainers and that is effecting thousands of young men and women.
As per Dr, ECG was not normal, as an primary care Dr, he must give baby aspirin before sending him to cardiologist.

I wish he had given first aid when he saw those strains in his ecg reports. Nobody walks into the clinic for being tired and especially a fit person. At the least, as a doctor he should have suggested to go in an ambulance since when he had the attack, he would have got the shock treatment as a preliminary treatment to save and revive his heart.
I am very disappointed that the few statements that this doctor has made does not make sense for example him reachjng to viktam hospital in 5 mins and stuff.
If his HR was normal, why was ecg run in the first place. He was diagnosed by acute heart failure(as per the report from the doc from vikram hospital) and that he was not given any preliminary treatment to revive his heart and not sent him in an ambulance where the first aid is available.
This is very irresponsible action.
And what is quicker?? Calling a ambulance and waiting for it or going to hospital directly when you already have a car???

This doctor was too careless. He could have given him life support while shifting him to Vikram hospital. Doctor's version is he has sent him in Puneet's car and asked him not to sit but lie down. Instead he could have shifted in an fully life supportive ambulance.

He is lying a lot. He says heartbeat was normal and then he says ecg showed strain. If ecg is showing strain heartbeat cannot be normal. Sweating profusely hapens only if u have sugar bp Or cardiac arrest. Doc himself told that he did not have sugar or bp so it was a clear indication leading to cardiac arrest as he even complained about giddyness. Then the doctor told he was in icu and it did not work. But vikram hospital has given statement that he was brought in a unresponsive condition. Which means he was brought dead. Everyone is trying to shift the blame

Even if after meeting this doctor if the doctor sat with him in the car and gave him cpr he would have survived. Sudden death should have happened in the gym itself if it realy had to happen.within a min the body shuts down blood supply due to sudden clot.

It’s all the doctors fault… when he saw ecg is showing variations he could have done multiple things but he didn’t do anything and sent Punith to another hospital. One of my uncle was in a similar situation and when ecg showed variations the doctors did multiple things to him immediately.. ugh it’s all because of this doctors negligence

He had no health issues, had not taken any medication except 2 doses of vaccine. Still, it is just a coincidence.

They are supressing the information about when he took the last dose. Side-effects need not be immediate in all cases some have died in 3 hours some in 30 minutes some after 48 hours. In the official Covishield factsheet they say they have observed most fatal outcome within 21 days. It reacts differently in different people that's why it's still in trial phase.

Perhaps his reaction towards the patient was as slowly as he is talking, the moment he observed the abnormal ecg or QT interval prolongation, he should have given Puneet nitroglycerin sublingual or atleast an aspirin. It might have helped and cardiac defibrillaton should have started immediately while transferring him to the hospital. Height of carelessness! Anything to do with heart conditions, you start working proactively counting seconds, even if the patient is talking normally. Abnormal ECG was a red flag!!! He had to try his best. He clearly mentioned Strain. Strain pattern in ECG means ST depression with T wave flattening or inversion. It's not diagnostic of MI/Heart attack. Moreover just because he hasn't said anything about what initial treatment he gave, doesn't mean he has not given it. How did u get to know that he was not given GTN/Aspirin ? Strain pattern doesn't mean that the MI will occur immediately, it just indicates there is a risk. I do agree he should have been shifted in an ambulance, but we don't know the availability at that time. And it's very unfortunate he got a massive MI during transport. It's a huge loss but don't try unnecessarily put blame on someone just because there is no one else to blame. Being a doctor is not easy.
@@raveeshbannihatti8731 yes, I agree being a doc is not easy. What I am talking about here is being quick and efficient in given circumstances. Access to a defibrillator in his clinic or in the car travelling with Puneet might have helped. Also knowing the fact that there was a possibility of a heart attack or cardiac arrest being next to the patient in the car to execute cardiac resuscitation or using a defibrillator was necessary by him or his emergency management technicians. Not blaming the doc anymore, he tried with what he could at that moment but he can plan better for his future patients.
I am out country but how we treat patients here with such conditions is getting access to a defibrillator after the initial treatment and by not leaving the patients by themselves in critical condition, abnormal ecg and other. After step 1 follows other things.
There we have excellent medical facilities excellent docs but lack of efficiency. What I feel is we have to roll up our socks and train people with basic CPR and teach them how to use an AED device. It might help many others in similar situations. Make the AED device available in most places like clinics, malls, gym etc.
Anyway, as painful as this experience was for everyone here in the US and India. I pray that God makes it easy on us and on Puneet's family members.

The doctor said Puneeth rajkumar and his wife walked into his clinic around 11 30 or something. He said we are very close and that he can walk into this clinic any time without any appointment. Puneeth told doctor I just finished my workout. I did my usual workout and also did some boxing extra. After that I took steam a little more than usual and now am feeling some unease discomfort. Doctor checked his bp and heart rate both of which was normal. He asked Puneeth sir if you have any pain of any sort to which Puneeth sir replied that he is not on pain. Then he notice Puneeth sir was sweating a little. On asking, puneeth sir said it is normal for me to sweat this much after work out. Then he told doctor I am feeling a little giddy. Doctor said let's take ecg to be on safer side. Ecg showed very high strain on the heart. Doctor told this to Puneeth sir s wife and she immediately made some calls to move him to hospital. Within a minute his car came and with help he walked to the car. Doctor advised him to lie down on the seat and not sit so that blood circulation to the brain is not affected.

Simply put his family history has heart issue genetically, so this doctor made neglience and puneeth wife ashwini as she should have taken him straight to hospital.
This kind of negligency Drs are killing patients, These Drs are called Commission or percentage Drs 😞😞😞😞
