Had an chat with the advisor at my local University.
Blew my mind! There is so much to consider when threading the path of Psychology.
It's also so very expensive for those of us who don't have the biggest wallet.
    Still I won't give up! I wanna be a Psychologist 🌻

Just to clarify, if a PsyD program is APA accredited, it DOES REQUIRE a dissertation!

Some schools require an original dissertation, case study, or even a clinical review will suffice.

Nope ...not true...you can do a PsyD project or paper with many APA approved PsyD programs...you are incorrect

I don't believe it's that difficult to get accepted into a PsyD program since this video was made. Many APA PsyD programs are actively seeking applicants. Helpful info. Thanks!

May I know who teaches the PsyD students? A PhD holder or a PsyD holder?
So if I do PsyD can I become a teacher of PsyD course atleast?

Can you become therapist if you have PsyD and can you work in hospitals, psychiatrical clinics etc. with PsyD? And can you do PhD or PsyD in Psychology if your bachelor degree is Physiotherapist for ex., sth different from psychology? If answer is yes, than does that mean that a student with a bachelor degree in Physiotherapist has lower chances to be accepted in a PhD/PsyD program in Clinical psychology compared to a BCs student in Psychology?

I use to work in the cafeteria at a hospital and I did in fact see people with PsyD badges

my guess is you would have lower chances of being accepted into a PhD, if your degree is in something besides psychology. I'm about to get my BS in something similar to psychology, but I never got much research experience, so I'm applying for an MS in Psychology, to make me more competitive for a clinical psychology PhD.
