First of all I want the hoodie!! Secondly thank you for this!! It was very informative in the sense that I didn’t realize it wasn’t illegal to be sold specifically by nail suppliers, but I get it. One the first things I learned was to not use MMA and I’ve held on to that for the 3 years I’ve been doing nails! I love your IG channel and your page and your website, I’ve purchased top coat and cover acrylic-love it!! keep up the good work!!
The funny thing is that I have a client that always asks for the old acrylic that is frowned upon. She also wants me to use a cheese grater during her pedi. Some clients just want what works for them no matter how harmful. We as techs have to make the right decision for them. Or they can go elsewhere.
The hoodie is fabulous-I thought mma monomer was more pungent than Ema -I just had a removal of mma & it was way unpleasant like sticky spiderwebs-ugh -these are fabulous by the way
I’m confused, I use LA PALM 4 seasons bubble gum monomer but it soaks off really sticky and not flaky. So I was afraid that it’s MMA. But on the bottle it says: INGREDIENTS: - Proethyl 30% - EMA 60% - Nail Hardener 10% So is it safe to use? Can someone help me with this please?
I would think that in 2024 MMA couldn't be found in salons any more......I remember years ago that it was used but I had no clue that people are still using it. It sure is hell to remove though......and I remember the horrible headaches from the fumes.....I think we have moved beyond its use and would wish all salons would pledge not to use it....
