Liam is always himself and honest! The interviewer is shit and the power of Liam's presence is clearly intimidating the interviewer 🤣

Judging by his clothes, I think this was filmed on the same day he announced his plans to blow up New York on MTV TRL

It wasn't LG's plans. It was the elites and he was just exposing it.

Typical yank interviewer that doesnt get Liam. I think in a way he felt a little offended by the host saying he was scared as he must buy into what the press says. Liam is natural hilarious and has a sensitive soul

Well ‘let’s all make believe’ and ‘
One way road’ should have been on shoulders instead of ‘where did it all go wrong’. Weird he dissed ‘be here now’ though I thought he openly loved it all along.

Has there ever been a documented time the Gallagher's got on? I think perhaps a brief period between 93-94, and a brief period on the Heathen Chemistry tour when Noel was compliment Liam's song-writing and being generally quite friendly...but looking back at these old interviews it's clear it was ALAWYS tense and awkward between them. And the contrast in their sensibilities is SO sharp. I guess as soon as they became the biggest band in the world, they started to hate each other, or at least Noel could no longer tolerate Liam. Suggesting maybe the fame turned Liam into a hellraising nightmare - great for us as entertainment, but hellish to be around, esp if you're level-headed like Noel. It's easy to forget how huge they were - for about 2-3 years they wee the biggest band on the planet. If you're from the US, or just younger (Gen Z), you may not realise how huge a phenomenon they were. In certain countries like the UK, at their peak you could NOT walk into a bar or club or public space and not hear an Oasis song. They were ubiquitous - never off the radio or MTV or off the newspaper and magazine front pages. They were also huge globally when Wonderwall and the Morning Glory album came out, especially in places like Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Argentina, Australia, Japan and Brazil - and this was concretised by the release of Be Here Now (admittedly a much weaker album, esp in terms of production, but it reflected where they were at in terms of the scale and bombast of the group and it shifted a lot of copies in a short time, even tho Morning Glory outstripped it overall, selling something like 70 million albums)...and for someone like Liam, his ego just exploded and probably turned him into a monster, and as his brother Noel probably got the worst of it. I reckon they would probably get on now - Liam seems a lot more chilled and far less impulsive. Come to think of it I think he has what doctors would now diagnose as ADHD. Anyone else think this? Noel seems perfectly content in his own world, and doesn't need the money. But maybe one day, if the price was just right, he'd do it...

I think it is in fact Noel’s ego that went supersonic. He had a lot of pressure as the writer and his relationship with Liam is in some ways typical of the brother dynamic but also just super complex because of the nature of being in a rock n roll band and them fulfilling different roles. Liam not necessarily gonna show up etc and his escapades were great for their image in some ways but also stressful and dangerous and well not good for their image simultaneously . Noel had a love hate relationship with this which they probably both had about many aspects of their beings. Beware the quiet ones though have you ever noticed Noel normally says the nastiest things and most sincerely about other people and cuts ties a lot ? Liam is more easy going (overall) and seems to be quicker at letting things go or having beef with people that isn’t lifelong , he’s still close to people like Bonehead etc for a reason. If you look he played football with Damon while they ‘hated’ each other , there’s tension but they can share a pitch together , Noel stood on the opposite side of the room at cannes when they both attended the train spotting opening and then bitched about him afterwards very bitterly , Noel is more hate filled than Liam I think. Liam does brattish things but I think a lot of what he says holds no real weight and he knows it and admits it , Noel is colder and more stubborn. They’ve both made mistakes though that likely cut deep like Liam digging at Noel’s family publicly etc was never gonna help them. It’s sad but I think they have a very complex relationship with lots of resentment despite there being love. Noel is a colder and a bigger wall builder than Liam though I believe and has been said to change with fame by a few people and not so much Liam. Tony mc the first drummer is a good example of this however

@@mod4it87 interesting story but not what I heard ..I heard from a manc guy who owns a pub in Worcestershire that he knew people that grew up with Noel and Liam and said Noel was the one at football matches who got stuck in of there was a fight and was loyal and Liam was nowhere to be seen..but two sides to every story I guess

      Typical love/hate relationship.
I think that Noel was the one who had a bigger ego after fame, Liam never changed, he was a problematic and troublesome teenager and stayed the same while Noel was the calm and protective big brother. Noel knew what kind of trouble he was gonna face by joining his brother and the band...but i guess he tolerated his bratty brother for more than 30 years and couldn't handle it anymore.
At some point it became toxic because they needed each other but they argued a lot(violently even) so it started to get very tense and hard for them to stay together in the same room.
Noel's personality is cold and unforgivable. Liam is more violent/angry but not so hard on himself, he forgives and forgets easily BUT never apologies...and that's why Noel still holds a grudge against him.
I think maybe if they didn't become rockstars/weren't in a band together they would've had a better siblings relationship, but they undoubtedly wanted each other. Liam wanted Noel's songwriting and Noel wanted Liam's voice and looks for the band, but their personalities were polar opposites so it was inevitable that it would end in tragedy.
By the way, I think they love each other, they just don't want to admit/express or even realize it, the way Noel nervously swallows when asked if he missed Liam and Liam tweeting and talking about him constantly just shows they still need and believe in each other :(

Noel has clearly and demonstrably always had a much bigger ego than Liam. Liam on the surface has the image of someone with a big ego with his bravado and swagger and inclination for causing mischief, but he clearly comes across as a gentle soul whenever he’s being candid. Noel on the other hand is always extremely preoccupied with preserving and cultivating his image, and he always needs everyone to know he’s the brains behind the operation and that he’s smarter than his caveman little brother. Noel is clearly much more conscious of how people perceive him than Liam is. This recurring myth that Liam is the egomaniac frontman and that Noel is the down-to-Earth one quietly strumming his guitar is such superficial nonsense.
