Don't feel foolish. He was like a brother to me and it would make him happy to see all the love being shown for him and his family but mostly, he would be so elated that God is getting so much glory. All Parris wanted was to support and take care of his wife and boys, and to live for Christ and draw other to HIM. His song "Crown" was like a theme... We hurt so immensely deeply, but Parris got his crown. 🗼👑💙🕊️

I had never heard of Parris, but as I have listened I have a greater appreciation for him. Not only his gift but his love for the Lord. I also like what you shared about Gospel , ad secular. You know many today feel when a musician plays secular he or she Is backsliding or sinning. But Parris showed that God can use you anywhere. He was rooted in grounded in God, and God was his strength. It makes me think about our kids in school today. If a few school kids that went to a all christian school went to a secular school. Last but not least Gospel keyboard at that time connected all gospel musicians from east to the west coast North and south. At my darkest time I had to move away from Baltimore to live in Texas and all I had to keep me proud and motivated was your website. It aloud me to show ppl how we play on the east coast. Thank you for creating the first TH-cam/ Social media for musicians. Believe it or not that website kept my friends and I from Texas and Baltimore off the streets. Man so true! It's sad to go to church and be an awesome musician but a crappy Christian. The church has to go back to discipleship and include musicians in that process. The business of church is discipleship not preacher, praise team, ushers etc. If God can make Peter go from being a fishermen to being a fisher of men, than God wants musicians to go from music to instruments for Christ.
