I'm working on the problem of developing expertise and I love this definition of skill as 'creating and solving game problems'... anyone got any idea where it comes from?

In a good team all the players take responsibility and there is no hierarchy.
A coach can only do so much.

Congratulations to you ladies, well done. Ladies you have proven yourselves better than the man team. I lifted my hat you ladies, you done a great job. How long we haven't won a major trophy. You ladies make proudly happy. The only thing i see, there was no black players in the English side. Please tell me why. It's look like the manger don't believe in playing black players. Very disappointed no black players. Well done.

So fake connection?, just to get what you want out of the player. I think you need to connect for the sake to understand each other but still having the player doing what you want as a leader disregarding if they like it or approve your approach. The question is: Do they have the skill & mentality for the task you are planning to assign them to? Since this is a national team and not the club team , it is more on the amateur side and less on the “work environment” side. So the motivation is different for the players. I believe sarina is good but the whole connection and treating the players like kids, will not work most of the times or at least it is not going to influence in the game. She should be respected and listened due to her capability and not due to her “friendship” with the players, this is my humble opinion as a amateur coach and as a player. I don’t have to like or be friendly with my coach , but I need to perform my task to the best of my abilities, because my coach request it ! Then of the results are not coming… well… you know.
Not even the players connect in very successful teams! The connection is good but it has to be there naturally! What if I don’t care about my coach personal life ? Am I a bad player?, am I a bad teammate?

Lol Of course you don't select by color. That's the dumbest thing you can do. And the number of lesbian women was 30% and straight 70%. Hey that's not fair " It look like the manager don't respect the LGBTQIA" But what does that matter to you. You are only here for the assumptions and the black players.

Wiegman, as well as Louis van Gaal, Will always want to get to know the players they work with. Like van Gaal in his best time as Ajax coach, knew also all the names and birthdays of spouses and children of the players. They all appreciated that so much, they were always willing to play their best game for their pal, the coach. But maybe that's not working for other countries?

which part of her mentioning “trust and a safe environment” several times did you not understand? she didn’t say anything about liking or being friends. as a professional (player or manager), there has to be trust. but it does help if you actually do not hate your coach or teammates, because how can you really trust them otherwise.
