    I also use this lemon stuff which I discovered myself, but with a change. I don't pressure cook it. I simply have a glass jar in which I keep adding lemon skin as when used. In that I add 1/4th quantity of salt. Regular salt. Just the way we prepare pickle. And when the jar is full i run it through a mixie and the paste is ready to use for cleaning all the stuff. Literally even the God idols.

      @@fatimaahmed231 As long as you want. It wont turn bad as it has lots of salt in it. In short it turns into a pickle kind of stuff apart from other spices.

      bc there is no enzymes.. i mean maybe a little. its just vinegar and citrus oil

    • @ThePinkBinks
      @ThePinkBinks 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      s p No. It’s not just oil and vinegar or it’d just be a crappy emulsion. Rewatch the ingredients. Digestive proteins and flora are part of the mix.

    • @sp-fz1mn
      @sp-fz1mn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThePinkBinks No I'm not trying to be rude but this has to stop. I am an IPM technician. Enzymes cannot reporduce. And the only enzyme in citrus peals in abundance are worthless. Ie acorbic acid oxidase... Ok it breaks down vitamin c. And they would be in very tiny worthless amounts. This is simply acids and oils. A very good emulsion for cleaning and would def kill some easy bugs. But it's just not enzymes.

    • @sp-fz1mn
      @sp-fz1mn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThePinkBinks there is definitely some beneficial lactobacilli but not much as the citrus will arrest it's growth. Penecillum spp. is known to grow on citrus, so that's in there. However this is a 2-3 month ferment so those spp are probably long gone and you just have.... Acids and oils. Good ones though.
      Just like making vinegar. Lactic to acetic.

    • @sp-fz1mn
      @sp-fz1mn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThePinkBinks I hate to beat a dead horse... But you also have to consider that even if there were enzymes .. they would denature quickly in this environment. Changing temps, acetic acid, citric acid, very low pH, and the biggie, time.

      Your enzyme is good. No bad reaction are there. Any bio enzyme have property for anti bacterial anti bugs... You can make bio enzyme from any organic matter
      ( non cooked ) except non- veg, garlic and onion. But remember ratio is 1 : 3 :10 mean if you use 350 gm jaggery then 1050 gm organic matter ( 900 gm orange + 150 gm neem leaves ) and 3500 ml water. 🙏
