This is amazing any chance of selling a kit in the future or could u hook me up with a 3D printed adapter and flywheel I’ve been building a vr6 just for a mk2 or something but I have a e36 that I feel it would be a good fit into it do u have a Facebook you post on?
Thanks ! Yes the plan is to sell a BMW/VR6 swap kit in the future. But I need to finish the car to get everything tested before. You can check out my Facebook and Instagram accounts that are in the video description
@@APEngineering sick I’ll definitely be buying one in the future just a little longer and my 24v build will be done then just need something to put it in been in the making for about a year now
I designed one for my car. I'm still undecided on the material. Not so convinces about the lightweight a super lightweight one.....I questioned myself if its possible to make a steel one with a replaceable face....I had a couple of ideas bolted to the flywheel or screw ( counterclockwise) to the flywheel with a stopper on the back and maybe a couple of bolts to hold it in place....Not superlight weight but also you don't have to pay an arm and leg to get another flywheel.
Flywheels are not a simple part to design/fabricate ! There are many options and ways to do it. I decided to go with aluminium to reduce the machining costs and since it is very big to reduce weight.
Hey! I watched your video on you 1.9tdi swapped Audi. I just finished swapping the same motor into my b6 A4, I was wondering how you got the tach signal from the TDI ecu to the audi cluster!!
Hi Nolan ! Its been quite some time since I completed the swap so I do not remember exactly what wire I plugged where, but I do not remember having to do anything special. I just wired the tach signal wire from the ALH harness to the tach signal wire of the Audi. The only special wire I remember was to send the speed signal to the ECU. This wire had to be taken in the ABS pump harness. Hope this helps !
We need an update on this
Nice work. I bought a big 3D printer for exactly the same reasons.
Thanks ! Its definitely a nice tool to have around.
On attend la suite ! Pas pire la anycubic :)
Great work man! Can't wait to be doing this on my own projects.
Thanks 🙏
Would love to see some info on that adapter plate. Cars starting to look good!
Hey bro, is there any updates on the build? Any videos soon? Waiting with high interest.

Sounds good ! Its going to be a nice project
@@APEngineering that’s awesome man… I would to do a vr6 e30 or e36 swap! What’s a rough price you’d charge for this flywheel and adopter plate
Vraiment impressionnant!
Merci Max !
What's the status on this kit?!

Thanks bud !
Good job!! ♥️🥰
Thanks babe 😌

Heey! Why didnt you post new videos anymore of this project! Very nice engineering, love to see more of this project!
How's the project going
Did you ever finish this car?
Do you have a conversion kit for sale?
Hey I have a e30 vert . Do you need another test car I’m interested in this entire project as I want this as my daily driver
Thats awesome. Once the car is running and all parts are tested I will be selling all the parts needed to do the swap.

Any news?
