Hey, I bet theres gold deep in ocean crevaces. anchient gold, but it would be extensive to get it up and out of the depths. I think instead of pumping it, an rov collector could mine it or scout it, or a crane claw can collect large amount. idk, i thought about it, and it would make sense, if gold never dissolves in sea water... It would accumulate in the deep trenches, however also same goes for land and shallow sea deposits, the banks after land shedding would also accumulate, they are like inverses, or gravitational stages, related to and of each other, but still it, deeeeep sea, is credible because of the weight and gravity and time concept. Congrats on your 200k subs...You did this on your own ..just as gold mining...just as Hard..!! Alot of effort was put in to your channel..and its paying off.!! Your mining will also pay off as well..keep it up..Swing for the stars..You can accomplish anything you want....Now ..your seeimg that ..!! Stay safe..!!
Greetings from NC. I've watched BSG probably since the beginning. Great to see your channel and very interested to see how things are progressing for you. BTW, headed to Alaska soon. Always been on the bucket list!
Wow Emily, your YT channel and YT videos are excellent! Subbed!!! Your dredge rehab and gold store idea are also spot on. Talk about peak performance! You are really nailing it...congrats! BTW, been watching BSG (and all the other gold shows) since way before "Gold Fever" lol. Anyhow, your approach is a definite winner! Respect! :)
Bearing Sea Pay Dirt is so very cool; I love the Logo Artwork too. It would be fun to bury a few bags of the nugs in the garden this spring for working the gold machine. I'd pan it out first and put each nugget in a cellophane tape wrap. It must feel great having the gold location pinned, just dreaming about how much is down there and knowing your going to get it.
Emily, thanks for doing these videos. They are extremely interesting. Every episode is entertaining. You also have a great looking family. Sincerely, JIm T.
Great job Emily love you guys going down finding gold love watching you guys. What a challenge it’s right up. There with Absolutely crazy but you know your limits love watching Brad from Michigan…, Love watching Bering Sea Gold…❤️❤️

Boom watching from over the pond, heavy pans peeps…… That was a really cool episode… not much time on the bottom but shows what you have to deal with and how vital bottom time really is. Roll on next week and popping the cherry for Ross 🤣
We had a small homemade pontoon houseboat on the Sabine River in NW Louisiana with a gas stove, two cots, back porch, bathroom, with a trap door in the center of the room between the cots. It had a little battery powered TV. We`d sit on the cots and fish for crappie perch through the trap door in winter. I took my friend Tim fishing in 1988 but when we got there it was pouring rain all day. I baited a rod n reel for catfish and cast way out in the current in the middle of the river from the back porch. Within 5 minutes I caught a catfish over 8 pounds. The grease was heating up to fry it as I cleaned it. A terrifying UFO encounter in 1999 with over 6 hours of missing time ended my fishing there. I moved.
My nerves never recovered. I bought a tent over three years ago just to try to get up the nerve to "practice" camping again in the woods by my yard and haven`t. My mailbox is over 600 feet up my driveway and I don`t feel safe walking to get mail. When these things appear it`s shocking. You don`t see them coming. They move too fast. My brother and I had over 3 hours missing in 1973 here in central Louisiana after a blue glowing orb hovered over the truck. By 1987 it was so bad at that home that we sold it and moved to NW Louisiana but whatever these things are they followed me. I don`t know what they are but I don`t want to go missing. @@jaycesimmons7785
And another one #EmilyRiedel #BearingSeaGold #GirlsRockGold thanks for the great video, Sidenote been watching you for years I am just so so happy with your success and the length that you’ve gone and your determination and your beautiful attitude you just have such a wonderful soul thank you for sharing it with us❤😊
Placer is in drifts.. The vein is upstream.. Technicality, I know... Fun to watch.. Did some placer work on the other side of the state.. Best to you guys..
Thanks so much! Little technical for the average viewer I think. Casual fans understand " rich veins" and "ancient riverbeds" and "the motherlode" more than "alluvial deposits" and "drifts" and "concentrations". We definitely cheat on the language a bit to make it more accessible
Is it true one year a spot can be loaded with gold, you mine it all out and the next year the same spot is again fill with new gold from underground sea currents? Or is it once its mined its pretty much a dead spot forever?
Good question! It's a little bit complicated. First, we see no evidence that a spot re-concentrates significant amounts of gold in the course of a year, or even 10. Maybe 100 years? Must eventually. That said, just because you dredged a spot doesn't mean it isn't worth going back to. We are vacuuming up the gold so slowly and so imprecisely that often you go back and pick up the trail in another direction
Discovery really f**ked up by not signing you guys to a contract. Most of the other folks on your old show are interesting to watch, but if I could only watch that show or your TH-cam channel, I go with you guys.
Would it be possible to put a camera on near the pipe inlet and control the pipe from the surface? Seem more difficult to have someone underwater all the time. I am also wondering why the system is not bigger, are there laws that limit what you can do?
Mrs. Riedel ...... Watch you quiet a time ... NOME .. what a place to be ,- in the arctic sea ! It is seen in you face and eyes , how mutch you developed a "cornea" on your soul ... This is not a good enviroment ,- with all the egoism ,- envy ,- greed ,- jealousy and resentment ... And GOLD just in the middle of it ! You have to crawl through all the disappointments ,- hardships and setbacks I didn't expected ,- you love to classic music .... but on ther other hand ... impressiv !! Now you "fullfill" mother natures "order" on top of it ,- You have a baby ....become a Mom RESPECT ! From a German Placer miner in B.C.
Vincent Thurkettle found the piece of gold, weighing 97.12g, off the coast of Anglesey , and it is believed to be part of a £120m haul that went down with the Royal Charter steam clipper, that became shipwrecked off Porth Alerth in Dulas Bay in 1859. And it's still there to this day 13/03/2024
Here is an idea for pay dirt bags. I'll use your model so to keep expenses as you have them now, but us the customer have even a better opportunity. May be you could have a special group of bags for this to see if it could move the needle. Using the 4 gram per bag and 25 bags as an example. So out of these 25 bags you guarantee 3.0 grams per bag instead. That is 75.00 grams total. The extra 25 grams gets divided up by 5 and 5 of those 25 bags have the extra added to them. Now you have 20 bags with 3.0 grams each and 5 bags with 8 grams each. You are selling the same amount of gold per 25 bags so stays within your business model. But, anyone buying one of the bags in this 25 bag group has a 20% chance of getting 8 grams per bag. You get the idea now and really can slice this up anyway. Just a thought as it sounds cool to have a 20 % chance to get 8 grams :) You could hype it up and get people involved on social media " who got the 8 grams" ... Anyway love the show as always!
Funny you should suggest that - we actually launched Bering Sea Paydirt with that approach. Turns out all you have is 5 happy people and 20 upset people. Even if you lay out the risks/rewards as clear as day, most people still get a sour taste in their mouth if they end up with a bad deal. We've found everyone is happier and more likely to purchase if they know exactly what they get. But maybe we can do a single product "mystery bag" or something that's more like what you're suggesting!
@@TheEmilyRiedel I am not much of a pay dirt buyer only getting it when middle of the winter and our sluicing spot is too high to work. ROI isn't that important to me, but that does seem to be the thing now looking around YT.
@@TheEmilyRiedel I didn't think about it like that but agree. Similar to seems everything now. The internet has given a collective voice to stupid and it is painful. As for me when buying pay dirt I just want to see some heavy stuff at the bottom of the pan and then even more fun to see if I missed any double checking. :)
Yeah, I prefer this content to Discovers. There is a high level of believability to it, yeah thats it: credibility. p.s. rally glad to see the accomplishments with the new dredge & all.
I cannot imagine taking the risk of blowing big gold hauls out the dredge, I'm just too lazy to bear the thought of having to do it all over again to fill the box. Any reasonable way to strap flotation bags with an hoses going back up to deck, use diver air to inflate, just pull the plug to let sea water pressure deflate them? Sounds like more fun doing that than redoing a day of mining here and there.
May I suggest a strip of teflon for your chain guide to prevent unnecessary wear on your spendy aluminum rail? I realize a rope also goes down the rail as well but there has to be some type of wear surface that can be used. Perhaps some rubber? glty and keep sucking dirt!
@@TheEmilyRiedel Thank you for the info. By now I have found out that there are parcel-forwarding services in the US that us Old-World-Inhabitants can use to get your beautiful gold. Looking forward to when I finally receive my original bering sea gold :-) Thanks Emily!
One thing is certain. Prospectors earn their pay. I have a couple of neighbors that have some productive claims. If you didn't know what they did for a living you might think they are wide receivers in the NFL. Bodies tuned by pure labor.
I feel like the production here is trying to match an American TV show, but surely you don't have to do that. I'd cut the horrible background music and show more of the boring stuff. Because it's really not boring at all.
Long time fan and wishing subscribers count grows. Excellent content. Maybe if Emily could dress up with full model makeup and sing some Opera (original gold mining related tunes) and post at end of each video, that would be awesome 😎
@0:23 Man I hope you guys didn't just invoke a future Murphys Law condition lol... but if/when ya'll start getting them old sore joints, start taking Glucosamine Chondroitin, fish oil and tart cherry. And if or when that stops working getcha some honey bee venom.

It appears you are sincerly enjoying the adventure and that matters most.. Good fortune to you guys up there @@TheEmilyRiedel
You have to crawl through all the disappointments ,- hardships and setbacks
I didn't expected ,- you love to classic music .... but on ther other hand ... impressiv !!
Now you "fullfill" mother natures "order" on top of it ,-
You have a baby ....become a Mom

@@daakrolb Well ok, Go tell your mama, she might value your opinion more than I do.
That was about a days worth of editing, I think. Excellent result.
Good morning you guys, is Dan related to Bill Rainwater from Molalla Oregon?
Ask Dan! You can find his contact info at www.rainwaterweldingllc.com/

Good on you girl ! i prefer to watch these rather than BSG, keep on doing you ❤❤
Thanks so much Raymond!

You guys are living my dream ❤️ much love from Kentucky
We're serving up dreams fresh from the kitchen every Saturday. Much love from Alaska
And it's still there to this day 13/03/2024
ya this!
Are you use semidry suit?
No cleanup?
👌nice.. where did the name eroica come from? Cheers
this is better done...good job
I’d say it’s a vocal minority that lives and dies by “ROI” most people aren’t plugged into that discussion
Great Video...Great Music!!
Thanks John! Music is a tricky thing to get dialed in - can really make or break the show. Our editor this week did a great job
Amazing very good, good lucky
I want a shirt with your logo on it!
Can you please see if you can add international shipping?
I just ordered some from Australia and I'd love to add some of yours to my collection too.
We'd love to but at our scale it's just too difficult with the different regulations and insanely high shipping costs. Maybe in the future some time!
@@TheEmilyRiedel Thank you for the info. By now I have found out that there are parcel-forwarding services in the US that us Old-World-Inhabitants can use to get your beautiful gold.
Looking forward to when I finally receive my original bering sea gold :-)
Thanks Emily!
One thing is certain. Prospectors earn their pay.
I have a couple of neighbors that have some productive claims. If you didn't know what they did for a living you might think they are wide receivers in the NFL. Bodies tuned by pure labor.
Darn this is addictive...
no shipping to Norway?
How much more does thing’s cost in Alaska
Depends on if Amazon Prime ships it. If yes, then not at all. If no, then significantly more.
@@TheEmilyRiedel I was meaning like things you buy and get built there in nome
do you have any info on discovery channel filming in the future and why they didnt film last season?
I feel like the production here is trying to match an American TV show, but surely you don't have to do that. I'd cut the horrible background music and show more of the boring stuff. Because it's really not boring at all.
Do a pic of a diver holding on to the hose while the tide is pushing, for your bag gold.
"Current Gold" it'll blow you away
Hi Emily, what product do you use for insulating your divers hot water line
Love ya guys! First comment lol
Hey everyone, this guy was first!
Wish i could join and do this. Its been a life long dream for me.
Can you give an update on your dad?.. thank you 😊
Don't you have cameras that you can send down to check the visibility and current without having to lose time to deploy divers and equipment?
do you watch any gold mining shows?
Not really! I get enough of it in my day-to-day life dredging and making this show. Got two kids to take care of and some other hobbies!
