She is so talented... You can barely tell she isn't a native English speaker, that's very hard to do, speaking from a native Hebrew speaker. This is her 3RD language... I'm so impressed.
She's multilingual. She is perfectly fluent in English, just as good as a native speaker and I'm sure better in certain aspects -- a lot of native speakers are not as well educated on grammar etc. as secondary learners often are.
I'm literally so mesmerized by her talent, the way she is, and how legendary she is. She sings in German & English even though she's a native Dutch speaker. I'm seriously becoming a stan... she deserves much more recognition💚💚💚
Same! I saw her in Hamburg as Elsa exactly three weeks ago (I was so impressed! Also because I am half dutch and half german and listend to the german wicked my whole childhood) and since then I can’t stop listening to her voice, her art and her as a person! She gets better and better with everything I hear from her🥹😳😍
@@JainaSoloB312 she has excellent breath and range control period but she does breath right before feeling things I never felt (small breath) then bigger one afterwards. But that is not to take anything away from her she is purely AMAZING
(I am a Willemijn stan all day every day, but) She kinda phoned in the middle section of DG. Fortunately, Willemijn phoning it in is still better than 98% of the other singers out there.
Huh? She sung it in a way that's even more difficult than the original songs though? This is a compilation of the hardest parts of the wicked songs, and she sung it even harder.
She doesn't just play Elphaba, she IS Elphaba and that's what makes her different from the other Elphaba's! Xx
She is my perfect Elphaba. I cannot explain how much I think she is the best Elphaba everrrrrrr!

My girl just casually singing the hardest parts of the three hardest songs in the show back to back. Casually. Girl got STAMINA!!!!!!! 😱

Omg she is so awesome... I don't even think she needs that mic 😂
+lewislance1 HAHA!! ossibly not, but that space is so dead, you wouldn't hear a thing without them...
Anyone notice she didn’t breathe at the key change of wizard and I and STILL didn’t breathe where most do!!!!!
Too much awesomeness
She truly is THE elphaba 🥰
THE Elphaba! The Queen! Perfection!
She's just unbelievable
Songs:
0:00 The Wizard and I
3:00 No Good Deed
4:24 Defying Gravity
Wow. Just stunning.
Can we please talk about how she belted from 2:12 to 2:27 without taking a single breath?!
She did slightly it was really quick. But as a trained singer that was AMAZING
@@joshuajohnson2026 She did? Where? I can't spot it

@@joshuajohnson2026 To me, it sounds like it's before, "And I'll stand there with the Wizard."
This makes me feel like she's not human.
She is the best
THIS WOMAN IS A FUCKING GODDESS
She didn’t breathe from 2:11-2:28
Jeff Winkle holy crap she really did not! And she's supporting it all the way through the last note!
Holy crap you’re right..saw her back in 2013 as Elphaba on Broadway in New York. PHENOMENAL.
She does but as a a trained singer it's really slight....
Thank you for this!!!
SHE IS THE BEEEEEST
Love u Willemijn!!!!!!!

I don't suppose you have the Verkaik-Tucker duet of Don't Forget Me? That would be an awesome share. :)
I don't have a video but I have an audio recording that I could upload for you?
Oh God, please, please, please? That would be wonderful if you could. :)
