- As a part of the celebration of his 80th birthday, NEC president emeritus and cellist Laurence Lesser plays Bloch's Schelomo with NEC Philharmonia, conducted by Hugh Wolff.

He was maybe Not on this vidéo but an excellent Cellist for sure. And he is an Amazing musician.

That was my experience with his as well, as his student.
Extremely strained playing and you can barely hear him. It’s so out of tune!!! Apparently he’s incapable of memorization.
