Yes! I love the vocal tracks, but the instrumental ones show a totally different and unique side to your musical talent. Closing your eyes, you can imagine yourself gazing out of the window of a quiet carriage upon a neon-lit Tokyo under a starry sky.
I really love how the music starts quiet, gets louder and louder and then back into silence. Kinda like a train going to the station and leaving. beautiful music
I think this is the perfect outro to the album as it ties the themes of the album together in a way that makes you feel like you are leaving the world that this album created. Bonus points if you are on an actual train while listening to this album and you are returning home.
I have to say Midnight, your music gives me ideas for screenplay and story ideas. If I was a screenwriter from Hollywood I would totally use your music in my movies!!! Thank you for giving me music to think of movie scenes in my imagination!
This song needs to merge with clips from a personal fave movie of mine: ‘Lost in Translation’. Both take me back to Tokyo, despite the fact I’ve never been...
Kinda sucks that they uploaded these tracks one at a time so long after the album was already out and released on a ton of other channels, those views should be theirs. Phenomenal album though, absolutely incredible.
Yeah I guess The Midnight wants to get extra exposure from OTHER channels first because they might introduce The Midnight to a whole new audience. That is certainly how I discovered The Midnight (from NewRetroWave)
Not sure why this music makes me think of days past, looking towards the future, progress etc It kind of touches you in a way you can't describe. Have had this on repeat when working from home past few months now, just cant get enough of it. Pure genius, love it.
listened to this on our way back to Fukuoka from an onsen place and it was around sunset. Sky was pinkish-yellow and the bus we were riding was kinda dark so you could really see the sky. One of the best moments of my life. It's something i'll remember forever.
It's reminds me William Gibson's descriptions of dystopian City. Where you feel the damp concrete, the peace and coolness of the night, and the stars shine so sharply that they sting your eyes with myriads of daggers.
Mostly because it sounds very similar to/inspired by a Tangerine Dream song from Risky Business, which is also the band that made most of the songs on GTA5

eYe agree instrumental tracks with EDM in general R A whole new level of music
I like how subtle this one sounded. It made me think of a light rain in a cyberpunk city.
Beautifully articulated, I agree completely
True. I love this kind of music

Great closing track to drift away to..
The vibe and Japanese sound really makes me think of the 1984 Urusei Yatsura movie Beautiful Dreamer.
That, or City Hunter or Kimagure Orange Road
Ah! A man of culture indeed!
The entire album is FIRE & I pretty much only listen to the instrumental tracks on repeat...
Lovely! Perfect treat for the end of my day.
This music touches me deeply. As soon as the first chords arrive arround 00:47, I am moved by their beauty. Musically sublime.
Yep, they're so fucking beautiful
You have no idea how many times I've listened to this song. Pure gold!

That's a brilliant idea. I love it.

Nocturnal remains my favorite album. Crystalline is my favorite song ever.

yeeee. He can hear it without criticizing his own voice it the back of his mind.
Kids album I think is still better but this is album is 2nd for sure.
I really would like to see you guys in Europe one day!
love on a real train vibes
This is Amazing!!!!!
I've wondered on many occasions just how many tracks like this one Tim McEwan has hidden away from the world on some hard drive.
I approve of this, very nice indeed!
It is amazing
Simply wow what a stunner
When it hits at 2:08, oh boy
This track would've been perfect as the musical score in the final scene of movies like 'Collateral', 'Heat' or 'Drive'...
Them *AKIRA-esque* vibes :3
TOM CRUISE RISKY BUISNESS
I was gonna say the same thing
Tangerine Dream...Love on a Real Train

I played this in my Suzuki
I am now driving a white 512 Testarossa
For those who has played haven. Am I hearing a similar tune to that?

I'm getting "Love on a Real Train" vibes. Don't tell me you don't notice the similarities.
There's actually a video where that music is playing while in a train, in Tokyo. Hmm...
Yep! Definitely inspired!

To hear the music you guys produce is a blessing! Thank you for working hard in that studio (or wherever ~_^)!
So peaceful and at the same time powerful track that only genius can create. Beautiful!
my friend, of ALL symthwave tracks i've listened to over the years (thousands) this and a few others are still in my top 5 consistently
Que musicas legais ! É tão legal escutar estas musicas andando de carro pela noite.
Nice track of an excellent album with a beautiful cover. Kudos The Midnight.
One of the best track, need more synth like this.
Very Mirror's Edgy.
Drifting away… to sleep…

Reminds me of the soundtrack to risky business! Very good
Tangerine Dream... Love on a real train
@@welshcowboy306 must be where part of the name comes from
@@narutobroken there is a newer version of Love on a Real Train which is in Tokyo at night
Perfect ambient sound! With love from Orlando, Florida
Why do I feel like this A Grand theft auto 5 star song?

Top tier
Hate to admit that I just wanted Riskey Business for the first time and now know this was inspired by that movies soundtrack haha
Should have been in Yakuza 0 would be perfect
First kisses..
