@@PInk77W1 Weird how you forgot to finish those verses.
The Lord's Supper is a remembrance ceremony.
      Why?
      1) Jesus specifically says,
_" . . .do this in remembrance of Me.”_ (Luke 22:19)
      2) Paul further details "remembrance" twice while instructing the church of Corinth (1 Cor 11:23-26).
We know that the Lord's Supper is *NOT Atonement* . . .
      1) His disciples partook before Jesus' crucifixion
      2) There's a curse if taken unrighteously, meaning that it's for born-again believers that can stand righteously.
      3) There isn't one biblical example of Jesus teaching or His disciples using the ceremony as an act of atonement.
Salvation always *begins with the gospel of repentance* taught by John the Baptist that prepared the way for the Messiah.
      *As shown at Pentecost* . . .
Acts 2:38 - _"Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."_

    • @anar3602
      @anar3602 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

@@PInk77W1 John 20:21 is Jesus speaking to many disciples, not just the apostles. Secondly, Peter declares in 1 Peter 2:9 that all that are born-again are called as part of a holy priesthood.
If we consider that YHWH's original intention was to make Isreal a priest nation it makes sense. Sadly they denied this calling because of fear and God instead chose one tribe.
Exodus 19:6 - _"And you shall be to Me a _*_kingdom of priests_*_ and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”_
Psalm 78:40-42 - _"How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert! Yes, again and again they tempted God, And _*_limited the Holy One of Israel._*_ They _*_did not remember His power:_*_ The day when He redeemed them from the enemy"_
*BUT* in the new blood covenant, all saints are priests.
1 Peter 2:9 - _"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;"_

Before sharing something that will no doubt shock you, I would like to define the Roman Catholic doctrine of "transubstantiation," and the vital importance Rome places upon it. In the year 1215A.D. Pope Innocent III decreed the doctrine of transubstantiation. This is the Roman doctrine that states the priest has the ability to perform the miracle of changing the wafer into the body of Jesus Christ for all Catholics to receive as communion. Five years later in 1220A.D. Pope Honorius sanctioned the adoration and or worship of the wafer as doctrine.
In essence, the Roman Catholic church is declaring that it has the power to change normal bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ, the Creator of all that is seen and unseen. They truly believe the host (Eucharist) is in fact the TRUE body and blood of Jesus Christ Himself, and is in fact worthy of worship and adoration. Since they think this, do you suppose this doctrine will cause them to believe they are above the Creator?
"...the power of the priest **is the power of the divine person**; for the transubstantiation of the bread requires as much power as the creation of the world. ...**thus the priest may be called the creator of the Creator**..." -The dignity of the priesthood by Liguori, p. 33
"If anyone says that in the holy sacrament of the Eucharist (communion wafer), Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is not to be **adored with the worship of latria**, also outwardly manifested, and is consequently neither to be venerated with a special festive solemnity, nor to be solemnly borne about in procession according to the laudable and universal rite and custom of the holy Church, or it not to be **set publicly before the people to be adored and the adorers thereof are idolaters**, let him be anathema." *Canons and Decrees of the Council of Trent.* Original text with English translation, by Rev. H.J. Schroeder, O.P., B. Herder Book Co.
This is the Blasphemy of Transubstantiation.
Commuion is unleavened bread(leaven is sin) and grape juice,(fruit of the vine, pure blood) which symbolizes Jesus' body and blood, it's not a ritual of turning a host into the flesh of Jesus.
      KJV Mark 14
22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.
24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
First sign of a cult "salvation is only found in this Church"
      KJV Romans 2
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
No distinction on account of nationality, race, or caste, is recognized by God. He is the Maker of all mankind. All men are of one family by creation, and all are one through redemption. Christ came to demolish every wall of partition, to throw open every compartment of the temple courts, that every soul may have free access to God. His love is so broad, so deep, so full, that it penetrates everywhere.

      KJV Matthew 16
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
The word Peter signifies a stone,-a rolling stone. Petter was not the rock upon which the church was founded. That Rock is Himself,-His own body, for us broken and bruised. Against the church built upon this foundation, the gates of hell shall not prevail.
      KJV 1 Corinthians 10
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
The Catholic Church doesn't follow Jesus the Christ, they teach from "early church fathers" which cleary contradicts the written word of God.
Mary was blessed, but God says she is not a mediator.
      KJV 1 Timothy 2
      5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
God says Mary is not a co-redeemer
      KJV Acts 4
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
God said Mary was not sinless
      KJV Romans 3
      23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
God.says Mary and Joseph were blessed with many children.
      KJV Matthew 13
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
So ask yourself, who's lying? God or the Catholic Church?
The Catholic Church also removed the second commandment so they can make any graven images and bow to them (idolatry) and supposedly changed the fourth commandment to the first day of the week.
Plus many false doctrines and traditions.
      Call no man Father
      Infant baptism
      Original sin
Confession and forgiveness of sin by Priests.
      Transubstantiation/Eucharist
      Blasphemy/Vicar of Christ
      Rosary(repetitive prayer)
      Necromancy (praying to the dead)
And now the Vast majority of Church's have joined the Papacy in the One World Religion.

This video is the 3rd confirmation today I’ve received. I have been on the fence about something with a friend of mine who shared a dream she had with me (she is catholic) and I really wanted to share some scripture with her. Earlier today I watched a video by another brother who ended up saying he use to be catholic and that we need to share the gospel with others even if people don’t like it, and then I was listening to a sermon on YT and it talked about the same thing that we need to share the gospel because it is like warning someone that is sleeping that their house is on fire but if you don’t warn them then you are not loving them. And now this video. I ended up sharing the other video to another catholic friend too thinking I would get a scary response back, but I didn’t. I really just want boldness, and that sermon convicted me! If we don’t warn them, it’ll be blood on our hands! So please, share the gospel with everyone you can, they are walking into danger, and we have to warn them. What they do with it of course is up to them but it’s up to us to warn them! God bless

The Holy Spirit is telling you to share your faith with your Roman Catholic friend.
Remember don’t be discouraged if they reject the Word of God they rejected Jesus. It isn’t their time yet to be saved but will be later hopefully not during the Great Tribulation because they will be beheaded.
Also, the Holy Spirit convicts of sin and regenerates them. We’re simply vessels of God doing His will spreading the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ.
In Mark 16:15, Jesus simply commanded us to preach the Gospel!
At the Bema Seat of Christ we will be rewarded for all those times we listened to the promoting of the Holy Spirit to share our faith with unbelievers.
And lastly but not least the Word of God will not return to God void but will prosper where He sent it(see Isaiah 55:8-11)

I was raised in the Catholic Church & can say that even “informed” Catholics don’t know their Bible, for the most part. I sure learned my catechism (I was threatened by Monsignor O’Sullivan with a beating if I didn’t!) but I never learned the Bible. I couldn’t defend my faith bc born again believers who know their Bible’s would have won that battle. No...I had to be born again by holding up the fake (catechism) to the Truth of God’s Word after reading it for myself. It was life to me! For the first time I learned the Truth & became a follower of Christ & not a follower of a pope. My life was transformed as I began to live out the exchanged life. That was in 1976! Praise God for His great mercy & love!

Jerri Maguire Constantine founded the Catholic Church in 318 AD. For the first 300 years of christianity, it was illegal, and christians were greatly persecuted. If Jesus founded the Catholic Church, then why doesn't the Bible mention prayers to Mary/Saints, confession to a priest, transubstantiation, the papacy, purgatory, the imaculant conception, original sin, etc. Also for a church that claims to be founded by Jesus, they've sure done a lot of killing.

L.T. - Tell me what the Catholic Bible says in Exodus 20:4.
Here is what EVERY OTHER BIBLE ON EARTH SAYS - Yes, even TORAH says the same as my bible.
Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Ever been to a Catholic Church that doesn't have carved images of Jesus or mary? Have you ever been to a Catholic church where Catholics do not bow down to these images, nor do Catholics worship these images?
OF COURSE THEY DO! So they don't care what God says - Catholics do whatever they want.

    • @l.t.1305
      @l.t.1305 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@delawarecop Your statement reveals an ignorance of the biblical facts surrounding statues. In Exodus 20:4 God condemned the carving of statues for the sake of worshipping them as idols, it is a blasphemy the Catholic Church also condemns. In Exodus 25:18-20, on the other hand, God commands Moses to carve statues for a religious purpose, two cherubim which would sit atop the Ark of the Covenant.
These angelic images were to serve such an exalted purpose (not because the statues themselves were in any way intrinsically exalted but because of the use to which they would be put) that God was very exacting in the instructions he gave Moses as to the materials to be used and the posture in which they were to be carved. Similar divine commands to carve statues and embroider images of various religious objects are found in Exodus 21:6-9, Numbers 21:6-9, 1 Kings 6:23-28, and 1 Kings 7:23- 39. In each case, the statue or embroidered image was intended by God for a religious use.
Although the worship of anything, not just statues, in place of the True God is idolatry, there are times when statues are not just tolerable but recommended. Just as those Old Testament statues were ordered fashioned by God to reminded the Israelites of heavenly realities, Catholic statues of Jesus and the angels and the saints serve the same purpose.

Catholicism goes against biblical scripture, Catholicism has added rituals to the belief other than baptism commanded by Christ such as: "hail Mary" veneration, st john & St peter veneration, kissing the feet of statue's(dead saints) making the sign of the cross on upper torso, making the sign of the cross with ashes on ones forehead, sprinkled water baptism instead of a fully submerged baptism in the name of christ, confessing sins to a priest, calling a priest father, the Trinity to name a few. These are unbiblical and there is scripture that refer to these being wrong and will lead to death... there's only one thing needed to be done to obtain eternal life and that is to have faith in Jesus Christ thats it nothing more...

In the New Testament we read that Lydia was converted by Paul’s preaching and that “She was baptized, with her household” (Acts 16:15). The Philippian jailer whom Paul and Silas had converted to the faith was baptized that night along with his household. We are told that “the same hour of the night . . . he was baptized, with all his family” (Acts 16:33). And in his greetings to the Corinthians, Paul recalled that, “I did baptize also the household of Stephanas” (1 Cor. 1:16). Don't you think at least one of those households had infants and young children that were baptized?

We know for certain that James and Joses were not sons of Mary or Joseph, for the Scripture identifies them, as children of a different Mary, who was the wife of Alphaeus-Cleopas (Matthew 27:56 ; Mark 15:40).
James is also referred to as the "son of Alphaeus", in the listing of the Apostles (Matthew 10:3 ; Mark 3:18 ; Luke 6:15 ; Acts 1:13).
The relationship between these "brethren" (including "sisters") must be seen in the context of Hebrew-Aramaic tradition, according to which even cousins were called brothers and sisters. This is the case also in Greek and Slavic languages.

A river that is weak follows the land which randomly turns the river this way and that making the river crooked. A strong river carves the land and tends to not wander. So, the metaphor is that a person with a weak moral compass is easily turned by the things in this world this way and that. A person focused on following Christ relying on His strength is less apt to wander from the straight path.

In Acts 1:14 in original Greek says that they were all in "Prayer", not supplication. King James added supplication to make it seem as if she is begging forgiveness, but this is not correct.

I think the issue lies with Catholic doctrine itself. There are too many Catholic churches or priests that don't say enough about who we are supposed to worship (the triune god alone) and who not to, like Mary, the saints and other false deities. I'm not saying that Catholic authorities teach to worship them but they certainly don't do enough or be precise enough that there is only one god to be worshipped. So many Catholics think that worshipping others than the one true god is ok (like the aforementioned). I'm myself a Catholic (but i prefer to refer myself as a Christian) and talking from personal experience and from my community.

@Blu Dusty Tell me something. Why do all protestants reagardless of denominations always prefer to "preach" to those who already know abt and worship Christ? Jesus said, Go and make desciples of men meaning, enlighten the souls who have never heard of Christ or dont follow him. U will never get a reward in heaven for creating divisions and fights within the whole body of Christians. A mum is never pleased when her kids fight with each other. Spend ur energy on bringing someone to Christ and tell ur fellow protestants to do the same if u love them.

@@provision777 Hi! The Bible actually documents several times where people intercede for others (Moses for the Israelites, Queen Esther for the Jews, the paralytic's friends, etc). Just as we can pray for one another, so too can Mary and the saints! They are more alive than we are, and closer to the LORD than we are - because of that, they are great intercessors!! Christ is the one Mediator, but baptized Christians are incorporated into the Body of Christ, and therefore through Jesus, we can intercede for others too! Does that make sense?
