I think he talks a bit about society being so immersed in the distractions like entertainment and technology and pop culture that people seem like they're sort of losing something to them. Maybe their personalities as humans or their ability to communicate and appreciate other beings or themselves. Or that some people tend to be to worried about those sorts of things to just appreciate what has already been given to them
That's my opinion, for anybody saying "What the fuck is he talking about".

Another guy enjoying all the benefits of living in a modern society and telling us how bad he feels about it. Ugh. Lose the phoney guilt. The "look at what a good person I am" bullshit. He'll fly to his next gig...checking his e-mail and Facebook...get in a rental car.....then play a show that uses enough power to run a small village for a month....then tell us all how horrible it is to "breath carsinogens". You can't make it up. Love the music tho!
