The way Balgeum and In Ho stare into each other’s eyes, their gazes lingering, their eyes filled with emotions as their hearts are beating because of each other. And this was such a realistic way of ending things, because let’s be honest, In Ho and all this love he feels for Balgeum wouldn’t change anything, getting together would complicate things. Balgeum would feel even more inferior, undeserving as he would be struggling the same, his financial problems won’t go away just like Ki Sub’s mysterious illness gets better because he’s with Jin Woo (they are cute but that was ambiguous and nonsensical) and they would have broken up, it would have become toxic. I absolutely love that Balgeum was really going through it, and even if depressed, he realized that he needed to work on himself, he acknowledged that In Ho wasn’t at fault. One can’t pretend he doesn’t care about money as he’s wealthy and he would sound privileged and the other can’t pretend he doesn’t have a debt to pay so money is his biggest issue as he’s poor. This is a couple with real life problems and they need time to solve them. Also, Balgeum decided to find his self worth as he’s insecure, he needs to find himself before getting together with someone else. In Ho was not being pushy, he understood Balgeum more and he’s gonna wait for him 🥺 At least, we got hopefulness, they will find their way back to each other, eventually and once that third date happens. Balgeum will improve himself, he even asked Jin Woo, a math genius, to help him out with a plan, he decided to really change the trajectory of his life, to free himself from his debt (it was never about becoming rich) and don’t you understand that In Ho has been always waiting for years, so he wouldn’t leave Balgeum, he’s gonna be waiting for the boy to finally tell him that they can have that third day and continue their love story. He trusts Balgeum will be in a so much better place to welcome him 😭 And K-BL does it again. They keep giving us the couple carrying so much emotional baggage as a side couple. Yikes 😬 they were nonexistent in those last two episodes, they were barely there 🫠 regardless of that, this series is a little gem, it’s so cute and sweet and dumb at times, I love it 💗
Ki Sub ‘s heart condition was controlled with his medications. His family was just being over protective by making him go to the US and be consulted by better doctors( we all know how people seem to believe that US have better doctors), to be close to better doctors if something was to happen. Remember Triage? They just need to be taking their medications and not to do things that will demand a lot from their heart. The palpitations he had was just him being flustered from being close to his love. This is my nursing POV in layman’s terms.

The only problem as a viewer I face is I understand where both of them are coming from but we have to let them develop on their own no matter how much we want them to come together But as the saying goes"The fruit of patience is always sweet" And now we are getting our fruit 🥹🥹🥹
I was glad with the end too. When episode 7 came, and they barely apprared i was afraid. I think the serie has other faults but their part was the best. I felt relieved that IN HO could understand Balgeum and that Balgeum was brave enough to tell the loved one what was his fight against and when they talked in the end and In Ho put the blame on himslef not for seing the struggles Balgeum was going through, Balgeum could say that In Ho is not to blame and that his gonna fix things before they get together again. The actors did an amazing job
