I get what you are saying as it is the case with some PNP programs using express entry but I can’t find the reference for the category based draws. It is a software at the end, and since they will look into the work history section to check for the 6months, they might as well grab the NOC code from there.
Very true. No they don't mention anything about primary NOC. And my speculation is based on simple fact that primary NOC has always been the basis on choosing the application for NOC based draws for PNPs.

This means the 6 months eligibility automatically becomes 1 year for fsws to qualify for category based draws.
