Jada Toys have some nice figs with Street Fighter & Mario Movie. I have Ryu & Fei-Long and going to pick up SDCC Evil Ryu and Series 2 when it comes out (Dhalsim, Bison, Chun-Li)
Street Fighter 6 is pretty good game so nice timing of releasing these...SF 2 has 21 characters if they expand to other SF games it could easily increase over 100.
Thaaaaaanks. Now I have a new collection starting. Ordered Ryu (I’ve always said it Ry-U) immediately after watching this. I was just pricing out the Storm versions and not wanting to commit to that price point so this is a great alternative. Hoping the original MK license gets picked up by this company too.
I was already looking for a very specific type of Street Fighter toy line when these were announced. So I immediately knew I was going all in on this line. It simply checks all the boxes of what I was looking for. But I do want to point out a few things: First, the Street Fighter roster really is quite massive, at this point. If you're only planning to dabble, you should set hard limits for yourself now. Because if this line is successful, and it goes deep, you're looking at around 100 characters (and that doesn't include background, sidekick, and crossover characters.) Maybe say to yourself "I will only buy original outfits of Street Fighter 2 characters" or something like that. Because if they start getting into characters like Luke, Necro, Retsu, and Karin, then you're going to need a big shelf. Then there's also the possibility of variants for characters that appear in more than one game as well as their alternate player colors. (Red Haired Ryu, Muscular Bison, Blue Skinned Blanka, etc) Secondly, I was cringing when you were opening the box. I am an opener, not a NIB collector, but I'm making an exception for this line. All you have to do is cut one piece of tape on the bottom, and the whole thing slides right out. Watching you rip that giant base through the narrow top was outright painful. lol Third, they've already said that the larger characters like Zangief and Sagat will be deluxe characters, at a higher price point. They gave $30 as the likely price, but we all know how things like that can change. Fourth, watching you play was fun. Anyway, I'm loving the channel. Keep up the fun.
I don't know if Hasbro could do more advanced articulation fir Marvel Legends like Jada Toys did for Ryu because it might be expensive for them to do but oh man, This Ryu action figure looks do good while looking so very classic looking in a action pose, Overall Awesome review Kyle.

As soon as I checked at Ryu I was thinking oh no what flood gate did I just open.😂 I knew almost immediately I'm all in on these and for the price I was really impressed. It's almost high-end important engineering and quality made for retail. The second wave is Bison, Ken, and Dhalsim. The packaging opens a lot easier from the bottom because of how it's shaped. The pause button got a significant workout. Fighting games were always a pain in the ass. You had to spend many hours to memorise all the moves. I loved the animations, but had no patience to become adept at playing. I was tempted by the Storm Collectibles Chun Li, but she was too much like the SF4/5 version (huge feet), and the SF2 style is what tickles my fancy! 😫 But I preordered the Taki figure. Soul Calibur is my jam. SF characters had too many magical powers for a martial arts game. Weapons are okay, but magical fireballs are a bit unsportsmanlike.
Man... I missed out on these by seconds at my local Target as I watched two guys in front of me swoop in and snatch the only 4 that I've managed to find so far. Now I'm having to rely on EE and/or Amazon 😬
his fireball (hadouken) has the fists inside of it to replicate the video game. his chi, his chakra is so intensely focused the imagery of his hands is visible in the fireball. i just got fei long yesterday so im hyped, and very eager for chun li to drop. dont forget that they are doing player 2 colorways, and Juhn from jada toys has stated that he wants to go all the way past the sf 2 roster, and that means loads of characters. street fighter 4 had a roster of over 40 characters. with the hype train full steam behind jada toys right now i would bet there will be more than just the 16 fighters x 2 colors each + akuma + evil ryu sdcc 23 exclusive which is also going to be up for order on jadas own website. are you in? 👊🏽
SH Figuarts also did some SF figures. A little cheaper than Storm Collectibles, but still can run ya a good $100+ a pop. My hope for this line is that Jada Toys at least does the original core fighters from SFII: the original 8 playable fighters and the 4 bosses. Then I'd be a content guy.
I'm a much bigger fan of Mortal Kombat as well, more for the lore and the movies, I'm definitely not a video game person at all. I wish Jada toys could get the Mortal Kombat license, I have a bunch of the McFarlane figures and they're ok, but man you cannot beat the Jada toys figures for their articulation and playability. I'd actually love some DC figures from them too because their Universal Monsters line are some of the best figures ever and they scale great with Marvel Legends and GI Joe Classified, so it would be cool to add DC and Mortal Kombat to that mix as well. As far as Street Fighter, I did get a Fei Long from BBTS just to have a generic kung fu guy to mess around with and pose. I was gonna use him as a Quick Kick stand in until we get one from Hasbro, but he doesn't have bare feet (so I made a custom instead, haha). I kind of see him more as a 6 inch Bruce Lee figure I can put with any 6 inch figure line just for funsies
Also did yall see the new SF wave 2&3 🔥🔥 they just are prototypes but man Dee-Jay, Cammy(needs work on her face), Guile look good, Ken on point, Dalishm great & Bison is just a Tuesday
I found a Sega Streets of Rage Axel figure at Wal-Mart yesterday for $10 not bad detail and articulation for the money he's shorter than these Jada Street Fighter figures though. Are you getting those Sega video game action figures?

It would be cool if Jada put above the health bars the characters names. Ryu vs whoever Chun LI vs whoever etc.

Jada been stated months ago they main mission is to do the whole SF2 line then branch out to other SF Titles Alpha,3rd stike...etc
