@@musikluver Thank you so much for the encouragement! You are very kind. I’ll do my best to keep creating meaningful and helpful content for all the parents & parents-to-be out there!
so sweet! I'm glad you are an emphathic partner. something similar and in line with what you said is. Besides asking like how are you doing, what can I do for you. As for things on her mind, small or big things can preoccupy her mind and worry/stress her out even though it might me relatively simple for you to do :).
As a mom who's about the have our third, this also sounds exhausting for the dad 😅 while all these things are super helpful and appreciated and needed by mammas, I'd hope that (general) you both can be a team through this harder period in your parenting journey. Maybe mamma (or both of you) can set up auto pay bills, subscriptions, reminders/planning for bigger birthdays and events, and postpoartum meals beforehand (especially if he doesnt cook) to take some bigger things off his plate. Maybe after a few months (once mamma is feeling up to it) mom can take the kids to a park or a friends or family members so dad can have some "him time" or time with friends Maybe mom pours into the dad before baby arrives as much as she can so that his "well is full" to take on a bigger share of the load after baby arrives
@@musikluver Yes! 💯 I love all of your thoughts - thank you for them. It’s absolutely a partnership and each family will need to figure out what works for them. I was hoping to at least give some ideas to the dads out there in case they needed some tips for how they might be able to help out especially in the first few weeks after mom has given birth and they might be need to focus on healing ❤️🩹. You’re absolutely right that once mom is feeling better, many of these responsibilities can be shared!
Thank god for great husbands who split baby care with us and care for us wives. Such a blessing i never will take for granted.
@@BrokenDollyTV 💯 there are so many great dad’s that I’ve learned from and may there be more!
Thank you so much for making this video,it's really important for husbands/ partners to consider what their better half went through.
For sure! I’m glad the video was helpful.
I send it to my husband. I'll be 6 weeks postpartum tomorrow following a c-section
Congrats on your new baby! Hopefully your husband will find some of these things helpful.
There should be more men in the comments😂 this is very practical

@@DadLifePGH your ideas are helpful. I found after our first my husband didn't really know how to help and frankly...I didn't know what I needed
@@musikluver Makes complete sense. I hope everything goes smoothly with your 3rd!
@@DadLifePGH thanks!
