Supposedly, I heard that trumpeter was going to come out with one. On scalemates they have this info about a future release ( 2023 ) "Su-25 Frogfoot-A Trumpeter | No. 05836 | 1:48". Perhaps Kitty Hawks? Anyway, thanks for your review. I purchased the Eduard version and already have 3 Zvezda. Still toying with getting the 1/32 Trumpeter kit too.

I love this plane in any markings! I have the 1/32 trumpeter version but have not built it yet. Thanks for reviewing it.

Thanks for your review. I reviewed this kit on my channel when it came out simply because of the kit quality not the politics involved. I have built the kit in Ukraine marking and it turned out beautifully.

The wing alignment seem like a tricky one. Also the main wheel struts. I was thinking to mention that, but I expect an aftermarket main wheel set for this one. It is tricky in real life as well, but I expect Zvezda to have messed up something.

Seems like a well thought out kit. For me it’s about the planes, not the country. You can always do it in a different scheme, Bulgarian,Czech,Ukrainian etc. maybe the Germans had a few at one point. Built an ICM Yak 9T for a WW2 gb and got some angry comments. Guess they’re just ignorant of history and forgot about them being allies in WW2. Have a peaceful week.

You are correct. It is about the plane, not the country. In this particular case - both sides are using the same tool. Just like Greece and Turkey did with F-16.
Germans never had Su-25. But Czech ones were beautiful. Current BuAF are very nice too. With the digital camo and all.

KH would have been full of rivets, full of weapons sprues and every open panel. But as for accuracy, that's not something KH has done well over the years. If there are two kits available on the market, except for their Su-34, I'd chose any other brand. Compare their MiG-25 vs ICMs, yes ICM still has problems but it's much better kit and model than KH by a mile. KH Yak-130 wheel well is a flat box compared to the Zvezda that modelled the right contours following intake, also KH intake rear section end in boxy flat surfaces, not to mention the landing gear leg actuator placement and geometry are pure fantasy and never able to retract and their decal was full or errors, all warning and walkways were for one side, they made wrong duplicates decal without correct shape for other side. Their last straw were their flanker family, accuracy was decent, but bad kit design and released at a higher price than GWH kit they tried to compete.
