Location - Russia. Action time is tomorrow. After a global catastrophe, the nature of which our heroes can only guess, most of the population died. On the mountains of weapons left from civilization, only the young and strong survived. But they paid in full for a pass to the new world: these people lost their memory, their past, they forgot everything about their former life. But for some, memory and human consciousness are gradually returning. Our story is about these few who are partially "awakened" and are trying to find their place in the new world. Gosh in a past life is an erudite and an intellectual to the marrow of his bones. Now he is among those who will not only regain their memory, but also re-aware themselves as people. They are opposed by those who use their newly acquired memory and knowledge to crush the world for themselves.

I loved it but I have no frigging idea what it means.
OK, I loved the first 3/4 of it. The last episode was like 007 Specter mega underground conspiracy plan.
And, in fact, the last 1/4 was unimaginative and boring.
BUT THE FIRT 3/4? IT WAS PURE CINEMA!!!!
Director, editor, cinematographer, cameraman must have had so much fun shooting this film.
OK, the writers too!
Such a variety of shots, angles, lenses.
This is what CINEMA should be about: the story must be carried by the visuals, not the dialogue.
Better yet, the story is irrelevant. What matters is the NARRATIVE, i.e. the WAY you tell the story.
Most Hollywood cannon fodder today is made of close ups and dialogues.
This series shows the world what CINEMA used to be about.
I loved the camera movements, the angles, the smooth shots. But most of all I love the way the director and editor
knew how to change the tempo. They went from war like scenes, to tender love making scenes, changing the rhytm
and the tempo in a heartbeat, and you find yourself being carried away by it.
This is great film making, great cinematograpy, great editing. Too bad the "FABULA" in the end was so banal.
