i like contests but they rarely have graph/tree questions from what i’ve seen
contests>>no of problems count
no of problems dosent do shi,
solving them under time pressure on own is what matters
Yeah solving under time pressure is really good practice
Do you find the Leetcode contests to have enough of a variety of patterns? I find most are String / Array / DP, but not a lot for trees and graphs.. just wonder if doing ONLY contests would be enough to prep
90% of leetcodes questions come from their contests. And there's quite a bit of graph problems on Leetcode's site so my guess is that there's enough on the contests
I think probably 1900-2100 is what one should aim for a FAANG, with 1900 being good for Amazon or MSFT, but 2100 for Google or Meta.
I should specifically mention for USA. In India interviews are much harder. I have a lot of USA friends who solved 150 fundamental problems and walked into Amazon / Google
I imagine if you look at the company tagged questions, you won't see many 1900+ questions
I have noticed in India solving the problem is way more important compared to USA where they are seeing how to communicate and how you do with assumptions imho.
Can you also specify entry level vs mid vs senior, etc
From what I've seen leetcode questions don't change at all from entry to mid to senior. At mid level system design is asked. At senior level harder system design is asked AND project ownership+leadership is considered
