Thank you for this game. Ever since i bought this game, i was able to go from 185LB *(My Stale Weight) down to 168LB in just 2-3 weeks. nothing from my diet changed, only put in about 3-4 sessions of 45min to 1 hour per week. AMAZING CARDIO GAME. burning about 350 Calories per 1 hour sesh.

Dude this game absolutely takes everything you have, me and all of my friends are out of shape and this is a workout and a half, I did 5 full games in a 90 degree room with no air flow and it felt like I was dying, my friend did 2 full games and he had to take his oculus off and sit outside for 30 minutes, my other friend didn’t even make it through the 2nd round of his first game and I’ve never seen a man sweat that much for only 5 minutes of activity, seriously if y’all have the money get this game

Talking like a 50 fight career with championships and defending titles, losing titles, rivalries, etc. Think more like the career or legacy modes in Fight Night or UFC. Don't have to have all the cutscenes or training, just want the progression and fights.

Holy cow! This is so impressive! Every time I play against one even in normal mode, I finish the match breathless, sweating like a pig and my heart racing like a Ferrari. Meanwhile, you make it look so easy. This is skills!
Combat breathing helps between rounds but you eventually get used to the rounds if you play everyday. When I first got my oculus I was so excited specifically for this game! Now I'm starting to see no point in shadow boxing😂
Conditioning helps a lot. As a fighter myself, albeit nowhere near a professional fighter but still, knowing how not to waste energy comes into play, no unnecessary movements. Treat every fight as if you need to do it 2-3 more times, over time you'll be able to go harder longer
I’ve actually brought this game for a few of my buddies at the mma gym to try out and we had a solid warm up with this. The champion fighter on outclassed is an insane workout. Anyone at any skill level will get a workout with this game I can guarantee it.
When you observe a person playing VR from the outside, they usually look awkward as shit. This is the first time I someone actually looking cool playing a VR game.
I watched this video before I bought the game and I thought “wow must be an easy game” but I just bought it and I realized that it takes effort to knockout someone on the first round. This man has true strength.
You can learn a ton of techniques utilizing this game... It might as well be considered a holodeck simulator. I have been able to refine styles that I always suspected would pay dividends and see them come together in this came then spar in real life and everything worked. I only study for fitness and development of new styles but it works well for both. Especially with the wide array of setting adjustments. When you first get it you throw all your power but now I pot shot until ready. Such a great game I cant wait to see part 2!
That’s extremely impressive, coming from somebody who’s played the game. I’m a pretty strong guy and puncher, but I still can’t manage many knockdowns. This shows you how much of a skill gap there is between pros and amateurs.
If you really want to prove yourself in this game--open up the custom menu, chin to 120%, aggression to >175% ++ outclassed settings (and at least 5x3 for rounds). Normal opponents literally have zero chin--and even Endurance ones are super easy. Outclassed gets simple too once you work through them enough. I've had to constantly up my custom settings, and now it's a real cardio challenge.

I really hope that when TOTF2 drops it supports body trackers so the game can take footwork into account when calculating your power etc on your strikes
The footwork just makes the arms move into position faster. It's not like some magical energy blast you summon with your feet. If it's already using his hand speed an position it's already including what the hips brought into it. You pretty much learn the speed an power behind whatever crutch you use in whatever field an can drop the crutch. In fact the only reason I stress much about hip rotation is cause it's not joint friendly to move the upper to the other side without turning the lower that way,
I just started playing and have never boxed before. Watching your punches being thrown made me realize how clunky and slow I am! Like holy shit, you have some serious speed and power. Its super impressive.

I'm so out of shape after sitting home for a year. Just bought this. Managed to win the sparring partner on normal difficulty. Then on the first real opponent, my head was spinning half of the time. Ended up throwing in the towel after first round, because I was just too exhausted IRL :P Definitely going to take this into my daily routine to get some exercise.
I felt like you when i started VR games. That's pretty normal. Your brain will get used to it eventually. Good job on your decision. You won't regret it.

archery and ranged weapons are not comparable in VR. It feels so different using a bow in VR.
