If it's company ever makes a remaster version, I am hoping they use the gameplay of 360, but keep the extra content of the PS3 version. Oh and make Crescendo faster. He was SOO slow and didn't have a long reach weapon. At least Jazz had that lol. This is still my fav game though.
also one thing about Yagyu, in one of the Trailers I think we see her juggling a freaking DELIVERY TRUCK on her umbrella. Oh, and the eye she covers has one of her Secret Ninja Arts sealed in it which is unleashed when she removes it. Also, Yagyu's Umbrella does have a sword in it in the anime. Maybe the Umbrella is supposed to match with her Ninja Element of water?

Shout out to Neopolitan (RWBY) and Umbrella (Rock Hard Gladiator/Hyun's Dojo). They may not be video game characters (though Neo was in BBTAG), But they really know their way around a parasol/umbrella.
In the case of Shizumaru, it's not so much that he's a demon.. he just has the bloodlust of a demon, similar to Zankuro. In fact, the two characters might be related - to what extent, no one knows.
I feel like Nanba from Yakuza: Like a Dragon at least deserved an honorable mention. Especially since a lot of more fantastic abilities that we see are a product of Ichiban's imagination, meaning that this homeless man is charging into fights with various criminal organizations with nothing more than an umbrella. That takes some serious stones man.
I KNOW! I literally freaked out seeing my girl Polka! Did you ever play the PS3 version? I have to say gameplay wise I prefer 360 because the difficulty was more balanced. I didn't mind the extra content of PS3 version, but the getting 100% fully (by playing encore mode), I had to grind a lot more because the difficulty spikes were worse, plus they changed up the positioning of your playable chars and foes. So story wise, I prefer PS3, but gameplay wise I prefer 360. Regardless, it's still my fav game to this day.

The one thing I know about Tales of Zestiria that many people who played it, (especially if you lived in Japan) found disappointing was how Alisha was handled, she wound up leaving the party 1/3 of the way into the game after she was advertised to be the secondary lead character for the game.
Interesting list, and probably has the most female characters included in it. 3 magical girls, 6 fancy ladies, and an ogre boy. Can't wait for the next one.

Zesteria was actually my first Tales of game, and it holds a special place in my heart because of Edna and Mikleo. Seriously though, the first time I saw her, my comment about her which still holds true is, "Look! It's Toph 2.0!" She even picks on the water boy, how could you NOT compare her to Toph?
I found this list release date funny since just at the beginning of the month, umbrella was just announced as playable fighter and considering she is more likely to use primarily her umbrella unlike her older sister that she use other weapons an assist for her playstyle
When i saw this on Twitter I couldn’t wait to see it. And I love this list. Parasols are so elegant yet effective. Hmmm makes me wonder why I never thought to use this weapon myself?
I know this game isn't well known, even amongst JRPG enthusiasts like me, but if Polka from Eternal Sonata shows up, I am going to go crazy because she's one of my fav video game chars from my fav video game and she uses a parasol to fight! Definitely one of my fav chars to play too, her fighting style is SOOO versatile from healing moves to great offensive moves.
I will forever despise tales of Zesteria, but even for me Edna was the highlight of that game. A shame she was wasted on it, would have been nice if she was in berseria with her brother.
She is referenced multiple times, but unfortunately never makes an actual appearance. A shame, since I was very curious about what she was really like before things went so wrong.
Edna’s the definition of “Came here for Godzilla”. Really, I wouldn’t be surprised if people were able to beat their way through Zestria’s story because of her. The character (and Alisha going by Japan) is practically the highlight of Zesteria.
@@nintendolife25 it’s sad how true your comment is. I powered through Zesteria because I was waiting for it to get better, yet it never did, all the way to the end. It wasn’t until I tried playing a second time that I realized I hated the game, but Edna was without a doubt my favorite character.
@@Zanzecus Try 100%ing it on the hardest difficulty. I adore Tales games and make a point to 100% complete even the few titles I don't like. Zestiria was agony. But still better than Xillia 2. I doubt they could make a worse Tales game than Xillia 2 on purpose. But 100%ing Zestiria was a massive pain in the ass. The battle system is wildly imbalanced. Empowered Heldalf is literally unbeatable without going in with the proper gear. Or at least the process of actually beating him without using that gear is...painful to imagine.

I predict these on Gunslingers: *Revolver Oshawo- er I mean, Revolver Ocelot - Metal Gear Series -I will never miss an opportunity to make a Revolver Oshawott joke. *John Marston or Arthur Morgan - Red Dead Redemption Series -We have 2 cowboys that could be contenders. *Lady - Devil May Cry Series -Her character model and personality were rough in DMC3, not only was she rude and too trigger-happy to the point where she'll hold up her gun to anyone and everyone (Even if Dante was just trying to help), her face constantly looks like she's pissed off at everyone, talk about resting bitch face. However, like with Raiden from Metal Gear, I'd make the argument that Lady got better as the series went on, particularly in Devil May Cry 4 and 5. *Dr. Neo Cortex - Crash Bandicoot Series -Assuming Laser Pistols and ray guns qualify. *McCree - Overwatch *Rufus Shinra - Final Fantasy 7

I got nothing other than that here are my thoughts on each Number. 10: An adorable expy of a man's late little sister, cute way to start this list of. 9: An Iai Fighter, always liked this fighter type. 8: A symbolic Swordsmen who's Parasol conseals a darker nature. 7: Hey, a MOBA loophole pick. Nice Bunny. Good Bunny. 6: Well this a series and a pick I should have seen coming but didn't. 5: I think we found Mad Mod's Sister from another universe! 4: Hi Peach! Nice to see you here. In the top 5 but not the top three. 3: Man Skullgirls is freaky. 2: Samurai Warriors and with a knock-out Bard. 1: This Small Snarky who uses Earth and Magic as easy as she swings that Parasol. Our last weapon before the armory seals itself is a call back to an older list, but this time it's a different Calibur.
Best part about Pokemon Conquest Okuni is that she is one of the Best Female warlords in the game with her Volcarona. The only problem is just Getting her Volcarona.
Ah yes, Parasols, the most deceptive weapons. 10. Nice historical reference. Polka definitely needs more love. 9. Setsuka, a fighter who is as deceptive as she is beautiful. And she wields a parasol like none other. 8. Another great character from Samurai Showdown. Shizumaru really deserves props. 7. Gongsun Li is also cute, but so was Setsuka and you see body parts around her. 6. Oh boy. Bring on the bouncing bazoongies with Yagyu and her umbrella of death. I am rather salty Neptunia x Senran Kagura will not have an English Dub. 5. I'm surprised Lady Maud wasn't in Hyrule Warriors. The possibilities with her umbrella are limitless. 4. Princess Peach, well she does use the umbrella in her moveset in Smash and Parry is helpful so why not. 3. You thought Yagyu was about fanservice. Actually Parasoul is Yagyu with Jessica Rabbit's hair and Polka's voice. Funny how two Erin Fitzgerald characters are on this list. Also, she seems to share the same fashion sense as Noire from Neptunia. Seriously, do the devs not acknowledge the existence of biker shorts? 2. Ah yes, Okuni's impact on the world will never die. 1. EDNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey Oscar, Can I ask you check out the game titled Blood because the main character is an undead Gunslinger named Caleb and I feel like he should get a spot on the list. Atleast a mention. And maybe check out the game DUSK as well because DUSK dude is an interesting case given what that happens in that game.
Idk about overall but Ryoga Hibiki from Ranma 1/2 would be on the list. His parasol is also so heavy most of the other characters can't lift it but he wields it with one hand!

It actually hurts me how few people even thought of Edna. When you have an entire half your moveset dedicated to smacking demonic entities with the thing you're basically guaranteed to be high on a list like this

I know you and Comic Foil already did a let's play of a Tale Of game but I want to see you guys do another one for Tales Of Zestiria.
I can accept #5 being part of that game's canon... that doesn't mean I find the game fun 'cause it was only meh overall. Also didn't think Peach would be #1 (it's like with Psycho Mantis. Just because Peach is the most well-known parasol wielder doesn't make her the best).
Hyped for Gunslingers, that's the one I've been looking forward to the most, pardner!

*Revolver Oshawo- er I mean, Revolver Ocelot - Metal Gear Series
-I will never miss an opportunity to make a Revolver Oshawott joke.

-We have 2 cowboys that could be contenders.
*Lady - Devil May Cry Series
-Her character model and personality were rough in DMC3, not only was she rude and too trigger-happy to the point where she'll hold up her gun to anyone and everyone (Even if Dante was just trying to help), her face constantly looks like she's pissed off at everyone, talk about resting bitch face.
However, like with Raiden from Metal Gear, I'd make the argument that Lady got better as the series went on, particularly in Devil May Cry 4 and 5.
*Dr. Neo Cortex - Crash Bandicoot Series
-Assuming Laser Pistols and ray guns qualify.
*McCree - Overwatch
*Rufus Shinra - Final Fantasy 7

Yeah, she’s sitting at Number 11 right now.
So given that last line, I'm assuming that gunslingers (more specifically noted pistol and pistol-like wielders like Joker, McCree and Ocelot) are going to be next on the list.
And we have the "I'm sorry what?" List of Weapons Month V. I got nothing other than that here are my thoughts on each Number.
10: An adorable expy of a man's late little sister, cute way to start this list of.
9: An Iai Fighter, always liked this fighter type.
8: A symbolic Swordsmen who's Parasol conseals a darker nature.
7: Hey, a MOBA loophole pick. Nice Bunny. Good Bunny.
6: Well this a series and a pick I should have seen coming but didn't.
5: I think we found Mad Mod's Sister from another universe!
4: Hi Peach! Nice to see you here. In the top 5 but not the top three.
3: Man Skullgirls is freaky.
2: Samurai Warriors and with a knock-out Bard.
1: This Small Snarky who uses Earth and Magic as easy as she swings that Parasol.
Our last weapon before the armory seals itself is a call back to an older list, but this time it's a different Calibur.

Best part about Pokemon Conquest Okuni is that she is one of the Best Female warlords in the game with her Volcarona. The only problem is just Getting her Volcarona.

9. Setsuka, a fighter who is as deceptive as she is beautiful. And she wields a parasol like none other.
8. Another great character from Samurai Showdown. Shizumaru really deserves props.
7. Gongsun Li is also cute, but so was Setsuka and you see body parts around her.
6. Oh boy. Bring on the bouncing bazoongies with Yagyu and her umbrella of death. I am rather salty Neptunia x Senran Kagura will not have an English Dub.
5. I'm surprised Lady Maud wasn't in Hyrule Warriors. The possibilities with her umbrella are limitless.
4. Princess Peach, well she does use the umbrella in her moveset in Smash and Parry is helpful so why not.
3. You thought Yagyu was about fanservice. Actually Parasoul is Yagyu with Jessica Rabbit's hair and Polka's voice. Funny how two Erin Fitzgerald characters are on this list. Also, she seems to share the same fashion sense as Noire from Neptunia. Seriously, do the devs not acknowledge the existence of biker shorts?
2. Ah yes, Okuni's impact on the world will never die.

well the next countdown is Gunslingers. Hey Oscar, Can I ask you check out the game titled Blood because the main character is an undead Gunslinger named Caleb and I feel like he should get a spot on the list. Atleast a mention. And maybe check out the game DUSK as well because DUSK dude is an interesting case given what that happens in that game.

Idk about overall but Ryoga Hibiki from Ranma 1/2 would be on the list. His parasol is also so heavy most of the other characters can't lift it but he wields it with one hand!

It actually hurts me how few people even thought of Edna. When you have an entire half your moveset dedicated to smacking demonic entities with the thing you're basically guaranteed to be high on a list like this
