I took me years to understand my issues until I stumbled onto my SN in Sagittarius description one day in the early stages of delving into my natal chart. It basically talked about our self-righteousness and talking “at” people and I couldn’t lie to myself (or be blind to myself) any longer. I try to engage people more, but I realize that I find myself tuning out in what they are saying because I really don’t care. I think I have this thing in me that believes that I know people don’t really care as much as they pretend to care and I know this because I don’t really care as much as I feel forced to care. So? So, I feel pressured into being what I “am not” (which in actuality is just what I feel most comfortable with) and my mind is on how to quickly extricate myself from the situation (hence the “blanking out”), rather than listening to what they are saying. If someone is talking about something spiritual or psychological, I am more prone to stay tuned in, but the mundane things of people’s lives that I don’t relate to, having to force myself to care about that to “grow into my NN” is hard. I know that is what fosters interaction, but if it feels fake and forced all of the time, is this really what my life is going to be like? Everyone talks about their family (spouse, kids), or who they are dating/sleeping with, buying homes...none of these things apply to me. I listen enough. But reciprocating just looks like me talking about astrology or spirituality and getting largely blank stares.
Girl! Same here... I feel like a Martian sometimes...I'm a scorpio so it's very irritating to me that people live on the surface of life...

13:50 is that asking too much? 😂😂😂 I do tend to “overshare” because I be so excited to talk to people. I also tend to think I’m always right because I’m always learning and researching various subjects, so usually I am... lol However, I’ve realized some people don’t like this. Some people just like to vent and complain instead of look at the bright side or hear about solutions.
Maybe this is why I sometimes tune people out while they’re talking. I thought maybe my attention span was malfunctioning. I definitely need to fix this because it causes me to have to be lost sometimes. And I can definitely relate to the overwhelming desire to be free. I always say, I don’t want to be stuck, in that city, with that guy, that job, etc.
My NN is by itself in Gemini in the 5th house.
I can relate too well 😂😂 I believe our S Node Sagittarius is really trying to be in balance to both of our Nodes. Funny when we have certain answers for ourselves through sense of philosophical knowing, someone hears us say something and reply something like, "Wow, thats deep, I never thought of it that way before" and we're like .. how is that deep when it blends with common sense?! 😂😂😂
Has anyone ever said a sentence that just made things fall into place,and just seemed to provide you with the remedy you've been looking for?? I swear you just did that for me, when you said think of a conversation as breathing,in and out, I was like 😮! In that moment I knew this is what I'll think when I'm speaking to anybody,I feel I can come across as uninvested when some people speak. I'm not a Gemini NN,but that is valuable advice for anyone. Loved and learned a lot. The main goal for me will be I think to see where my advices (unsollicited sometimes) come from. From a place of humility and humanity, or preaching and giving the others lessons they maybe do not need.

Oh Hannah, why must you call me out like this in front of everyone?! Lol ;) this was very helpful and a great lesson that my south Sag needed to hear. Perhaps that is why I was given all my Scorpio energy this lifetime so I’d focus more on human nature/relationships and the psychology behind things..which I do love. The part you mentioned of us saying “I gotta get away”, always searching for freedom and not wanting to limit myself possibilities by never committing to things or settling down in any particular area of life was a hard truth that hit me hard and I needed to be reminded of that self sabotaging south node Sag tendency...thanks for that ;)
Same here @AdamRising. I'm a Scorpio sun (technically on the Scorpio-Sagittarius cusp), mercury in Sagittarius, jupiter in Sagittarius, and north node in Gemini so south node in Sagittarius. I'm thankful for the Scorpio sun for the same reason that you've said. Still, I do have a strong tendency though to walk away from things and people, which I'm only now starting to really understand in my 30s. It's as if I feel compelled to move on and nothing can stop it from happening once that urge sets in. I've kind of had it with this 'cycle' lol! Time to put down actual roots and build meaningful, longer lasting relationships - instead of basically just analyzing people from afar (which the Scorpio energy compels me to do).

Other thing that is helping me through my north node lesson is to understand that, for some things in life there isn't a RIGHT answer, or a BETTER ULTIMATE BLASTER ONE AND ONLY RIGHT way of living, and be free to make some mistakes in order to truly learn.

Finally, my placement!. You totally got the not liking silence part!, I talk alot. As for talking to the point were the other person can't speak, I don't do that. Because I want to understand others very badly. I can't stand one sided conversation!, but yeah, we need to be more open to others opinions other than our own. Absolutely true Hannah! I have been dealing with the sence of being jailed my whole life and I have also felt like if I already knew many things concerning religion and human nature. I have also felt isolated very often and out of other people understanding. But as I´m a virgo I always try to center myself into real life, and I have worked very hard to release those feelings.
This is funny because I genuinely had to ‘teach’ myself how to talk to people. I was very socially awkward (so much to the point id cry when I’d get home after school). So instead of wanting to overbear it was learning to give enough back. Still have problems with listening tho 🥴
So spot on it hurts. I’ve always been a bit confused with my north and south nodes because of the house placement. My South Node in Sag is in the second house and my North in Gemini is in the 8th. To me that’s saying in the past I was attached to ownership of property and wealth and with the 8th house placement it seems I should be focused on the occult and deep spiritual wisdom. Talk about a dualistic placement. People tell me I’m a good listener and I’ve worked really hard at it but I still cannot tolerate shallow. I’ve weaned my friendships to substantial and highly intelligent people pretty much exclusively. It’s much easier to value their side of the conversation when their thoughts offer weight and quality. Such a N. Node in Gemini thing to say... Very curious about my house placement and it’s dualistic nature. See I don’t know everything. 😉

I feel like there is a north node "side" of me that's like "Come on, let's leave that baggage in the past & let's just do things right from now on". & the south node side saying "Ok, ok. BUT, we're going to wait until I decide the conditions are just right so our ego doesn't get too bruised in the process".
Ultimately, I love learning about this stuff. I'm grateful to the girl in the video & the people in the comments sharing their thoughts/stories. All brings perspective!

in sidereal astrology this is my north mode which highly resonates w me more, but I’m definitely self righteous because a lot of the people around me are not good people or have low moral standards, and usually don’t understand who I am as a person
I usually want relationships to be successful but once they get good after being bad my mind goes brrrrrr
I love talking to fill the void, but I also am not liking of feedback because at times it makes 0 sense to my morals or standpoints 💀💀
I need to understand that both parties are correct in their own ways and usually when I talk less I actually make more sense to more people

Its funny because I love talking and I try not to over talk and I try not to interrupt and to start listening and asking questions about others. I actually was good at this and comfortable with this in middle school up to my sophomore year. I had got so busy with trying to catch up with school that I started to isolate myself again now I'm back in my south node again and it really sucks. I used to love doing so many things like dressing up, being with friends, and having fun and now i don't know what im doing and im confused. I also stopped being truthful and open because im scared its going to be used against me like it had been in the past.

I do know it all, that is why i use not to talk to anybody too much and not listening to them, bacause...what do they know? But life teach me differently, and i had to suffer "a little" for my arogancy. So i have to thank to everybody that give me time to learn from them. I become a better person just because of them. I've learned to honestly love people.

Omg! 🤯This explains soo much😱 but I have learned to 👂 and 🤐 as I have gotten older.
I can’t believe how much this described me to the t! Lol of course now I gotta make it short and straight to the point... I believe it was when I turned 18 at the time I tried psychedelics (mushrooms) and had really opened my mind and thoughts to listening to people more carefully than before i just lived life in motion not really caring... fast forward now 25 years old I have told myself after that experience I had shifted my train of thought.. i saw myself change mentally I was feeling older as I was going though my experiences like turning 21, and how quick going out and wasting money just to have a hang over and do it all over again obviously wasn’t very fulfilling. Throughout my life I’ve always been told I’ve been a “social butterfly” and that I talked too much in class and always needed to be social and I could see how that crafted my communication skills to a degree... of course still learning and always learning :) but then I started to exclude myself more but still learning the craft of listening to both sides of the story. Two sides to the coin, ying and yang.... and that concept It took a very long time for me to grasp and am still battling to balance that concept of my life now that i “feel” like i have it “all” I come off as self righteousness and almost like you said preaching... that’s an aspect in my life that’s going on now that I’m trying to learn more about myself and this video ultimately affirms everything I’ve been researching. So crazy to feel like you know it all, yet you don’t. Always a learning process... thank you so much for taking time to make this video and I hope I didn’t bore you too much with my north node Gemini :)

This is my north and south node placement, just found out about this aspect of astrology, its fascinating....but im one of the quietest people ive ever known. I actually hate useless drivel...i dont talk unless i may have something to contribute to a conversation or asked a question. I really enjoy listening to other people, and asking questions, especially if they are upset, i like to make myself available for that person to vent or feel heard, perhaps because i have had such little of this is my own life, i empathize alot. BUT....i can text pages on subjects that fuel my fire. Also...even tho i am very quiet, i cannot bear complete silence for long, i ALWAYS have background noise such as a tv show playing, or a talk show or story...but not loudly, i absolutely abhor loud noise of any kind, my ears are super sensitive, i have alot of weird stress and anxiety around different kinds of noises that i struggle to deal with in the every day world. So even tho i dont talk much i see how this trait manifests in many ways in my life...wow! Great video🙏😁

I feel like my North Node in Gemini goes along well with my Sun Sign which is Pisces and my Midheaven in Aries - they kind of balance out or "support" each other. I'm not a very talkactive person around people that aren't close to me, I like listening to people rather than speaking myself. I do have a sense of freedom which I always thought derived from my Chinese Zodiac Sign of the Horse ^^' But I do have to admit that I dislike others being right while I'm in the wrong haha.
