It still had its good moments all the same (Especially to gain all those views on WWE’s TH-cam Channel), featuring the fast pace of any rumble, the few surprise entrants in between, and some of the most thrilling eliminations in any event. Perhaps, the ‘real’ problem when it came to how this match ended was the matter of how there were ‘so’ many ways the match could have ended, so many new faces who could benefit from a title opportunity that could forever change their careers, except for the fact that we as a general audience felt that the company failed to capitalize on the talent they actually had. In the actual event, a fighting Irish Man who still remains a favorite to us over the years would be the one going to WrestleMania for a chance at becoming a champion on the biggest night of the year and overall, I was content with that result. With the exception of one substitution (With a woman who would’ve been twelve going on thirteen, and wasn’t even a big name yet), a new winner for this replay rumble would assume their place in the upcoming champions’ rumble… Randy Orton… the first competitor in the champions’ rumble to win ‘twice’ in this season… and honestly, I don’t think Randy Orton should have ‘two’ entries in the final episode of the season. One, it would be ‘unfair’ to everyone else who worked their butts off to get in and the second reason being is that if it were ‘possible’ to be done for the finals (I don’t know if you can) I think Randy should be awarded a key advantage for the finals and have the ‘final’ entry in that match so this way he come in as the freshest finalist. Now, as far as wondering how Orton’s career would be different if he won ‘this’ rumble twelve years ago, the one piece of action Orton had was a match against Kane which he’d end up ‘losing that year. Now if it were Randy Orton fighting Daniel Bryan for the title, and not Sheamus, I wouldn’t have been surprised if the WWE pit Randy Orton to defeat Daniel Bryan because WWE likes pushing their poster boys (And Daniel Bryan was only growing his fanbase around that time). In any case, this victory only serves to prove that Orton is the ‘clear’ favorite to win the finals this season and I’d be surprised if not a ton of fans picked him to win the champions’ rumble. But who was my MVP of this replay 2012 rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the twenty-nine men and one woman featured in this match, only THIRTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations (Rotten luck as that’s two men short of reaching the halfway mark). The highest count reached up to ‘6’ eliminations, which is five points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to: The Great Khali While I acknowledge how impressed I was seeing Rodriguez perform in this replay, which was drastically an improvement from how he performed in the actual event, I feel that if we weren’t going to have ‘two’ different Ortons in the finals I feel it’s only fair if someone like Khali is featured (Considering that compared to Rodriguez, he not only lasted four slots higher, but he was literally the runner-up). While not every ‘finalist’ in the champions’ rumble are ‘big’ competitors, if I had to determine who’d have the better odds, The Great Khali is the most imposing choice (Even if he has the stiffest moveset). This isn’t really a campaign to have the Punjabi Giant featured in the finals, but more of an imploration to consider that the champions’ rumble could benefit from having ‘one’ MVP in place of a superstar who’s already won and really has nothing to lose anyway. The nominees for the Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance are: ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan Jack Swagger Wade Barrett David Otunga Usually I’d know ‘exactly’ who’s the worst of the worst when comparing numerous nominations, but the performances of all poor men definitely reflected poorly. While no one really expected Jim Duggan to win, even though he was the very first man to win it all, to lose to someone who’s known for being a ‘manager’ in the WWE… that’s still disappointing. Swagger had been a promising talent in the WWE and to be eliminated that quickly was shocking (Even if it was by a legendary competitor). Barrett’s elimination was as inevitable as his actual run, but still very poor. And as for Otunga… I had high hopes for this man when I saw how physically dominant of a man he was in a previous rumble, and to lose this soon… yikes. In this rare case, they ‘all’ get medals for having the worst run of this series and frankly for them, ‘two’ of them should be lucky they are even getting another chance to prove themselves. As we reflect on the idea of Randy Orton winning ‘twice’ this season, I feel it’s only a matter of fairness we retain the theme of replaying the classic rumbles ‘at least’ until we have a full roster set (Although I’m still a bit bummed One-Man Gang is missing out… surely there’s a CAW for him in the 2k24 universe somewhere). I say this because ‘If it’s not broken, don’t fix it’ and we can always do a brand-new series of rumbles, nostalgia ones especially, for another season. But for now, we ask the following questions: Who did YOU want to win the 2012 rumble? Honestly, even if Booker T and Jerry Lawler weren’t involved, do we realistically think Michael Cole actually stood a chance? If it weren’t for Big Show, could Jack Swagger have overpowered Sheamus’s attempt to eliminate him? If you couldn’t find a CAW for Kharma, wasn’t there one for ‘Awesome Kong’? And the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?
I kind of agree with you there, we need to have a "Snub Rumble" where people like Kharma and maybe even Tyler Wrecks or whatever his name was have a chance in a future Rumble. Another idea I had is that we can skip this Rumble since Randy won it twice and do the 2018 Rumble instead of stopping at 2017 in replacement for this 2012 Rumble since Randy won it twice, we can put Randy in next seasons Rumble for winning this one? So we can have The Most Created Rumble winner followed by the winner of the Men vs Boys Rumble and this one for next season's championship?

Early comment but, yes Ricky, please do continue with the established theme of Nostalgia for this season's Royal Rumble Tournament. It'd break the earlier built momentum if, near the end, we return to random character themed competitions. Plus it's nice to feature actual mainstream promotion wrestlers for a change, not that there's anything wrong with fun creations pitted against one another for the ultimate prize.

I was in the crowd for this Rumble! So excited because it was my first ever live Royal Rumble and in my hometown! We saw Ted Dibiase Jr a couple hours before in the parking lot because he was doing his DiBiase Posse thing. My friend got his picture with Ted. Nice guy.
I vote to continue the nostalgia Rumbles. I can’t wait to see 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17. And hopefully beyond all the way to 24. I also vote with you to give Orton two entries. Like you said, he earned it.
I say some specific Royal Rumbles. Jobbers, mullets, best athletic builds, mouth piece, etc . Oh did you look up the Mulkey Brothers? The reason for "Mulk-a-mania" was that wrestling fans had a Hulk-a-maina sign and scratched out Hulk and put in Mulk. Lol they were a very respectful and respected Jobber tag team that people like The Road Warriors and The Midnight Express to the Four Horseman would argue and fight over to wrestle at events.

Fun fact Ricky: R-truth and the Miz are allies in this game and that's why they didn't initially attack each other. Unfortunately, although they work extremely well in Rumbles, they seem to turn on each other as soon as it is just them in the ring, rather than at the very end! Also Primo and Epico are twins so that definitely wasn't the right Primo!😂

Is there a way to do a royal rumble ladder match? Royal rumble rules apply, but the ladder can only be reached if you went under the bottom rope. Lol I haven't played a wrestling game since wrestle mania 2k and WCW/ nwo revenge. Love these rumbles, but I haven't seen anything since 2010. I don't know any of these new characters. Not only do I think you should make the final royal rumble a theme match. I also think you should make your own championship belt and have it up for grabs, at the final royal rumble.

Ricky, I personally think you shouldn't give Orton a double entrance, it'd be pointless and too unrealistic. I know it'd require some extra work but you could replay an extra rumble (2018) apart from the remaining 5 (2013-2017) and put the winner in the Champion's Rumble. And yes, since we are close to the end, please replay the remaining actual rumbles from the past, the random themed rumbles can wait.

Season 11 start off with 2018-2024, and if it works properly include the Women's Royal Rumbles as part of the season, hopefully the women who won your nostalgic rumbles will be able to participate in the final rumble of season 11 then throw in other rumbles that works? As for Randy Twice, I would say maybe have a vote amongst your subscribers, either have Randy enter twice or (as I really don't like the wrestler) have Kahli in as an alternate because he was last to be eliminated or runner up in this rumble?

NOOOOOOOOO! Miz is out way too early, probably because he lost his partner, Cody, even sooner. (They didn't formally team-up, but they clearly had a detente going on.) If you dig Cody's tighty-whitey's here, wait until you see what he wears in 2013! (There is also something else about 2013 Cody, but I won't spoil it for you.) Appropriate that Miz got tossed by Kofi, though. If you remember the actual Rumble, Miz got Kofi out of the ring, but Kofi did a handstand and walked to the steps. Was that the first "Kofi spot?" I haven't seen the 2011 rumble. Primo and Epico were the then-tag champions, real life cousins Eddie and Orlando Colon. Eddie [Primo] is the son Puerto Rican legend Carlos Colon, and thus Carlito's brother. (He and Carlito had previously held the belts.)
In my opinion i think the great Khali should be the guy who gose in. Giving orton another enternce gives him an unfair advantage. Cause he has 50-50 chance to win. Don't get me wrong orton clearly won but i don't like double winners in these rumbles.
What if you did a FINAL 5 charity event... fans donate say $5 to pick their favorite wrestler out of the 150 slots available (5, 30 person rumbles). Put all 150 names on a "random wheel" for the final five rumble's contestants. whether you actually use their character in the rumble for a larger $$$ donation would also be an option ;) interactive with your subs and money to a worthy cause... sounds groovy to me brother... safe journey

Rodriguez ruined this Rumble he eliminated key guys and legends I'm disappointed. I think you should keep going on the nostalgia ones it would suck to do all this effort and have a fantasy character win over the nostalgia Rumble. I say we go as far as we can, I still need The Undertaker to win it.

It was not to suggest that the 2012 rendition of the Royal Rumble was ‘bad’ by any means, some fans were satisfied with the ending and maybe there were others that didn’t think it was. It still had its good moments all the same (Especially to gain all those views on WWE’s TH-cam Channel), featuring the fast pace of any rumble, the few surprise entrants in between, and some of the most thrilling eliminations in any event. Perhaps, the ‘real’ problem when it came to how this match ended was the matter of how there were ‘so’ many ways the match could have ended, so many new faces who could benefit from a title opportunity that could forever change their careers, except for the fact that we as a general audience felt that the company failed to capitalize on the talent they actually had. In the actual event, a fighting Irish Man who still remains a favorite to us over the years would be the one going to WrestleMania for a chance at becoming a champion on the biggest night of the year and overall, I was content with that result. With the exception of one substitution (With a woman who would’ve been twelve going on thirteen, and wasn’t even a big name yet), a new winner for this replay rumble would assume their place in the upcoming champions’ rumble…
Randy Orton… the first competitor in the champions’ rumble to win ‘twice’ in this season… and honestly, I don’t think Randy Orton should have ‘two’ entries in the final episode of the season. One, it would be ‘unfair’ to everyone else who worked their butts off to get in and the second reason being is that if it were ‘possible’ to be done for the finals (I don’t know if you can) I think Randy should be awarded a key advantage for the finals and have the ‘final’ entry in that match so this way he come in as the freshest finalist. Now, as far as wondering how Orton’s career would be different if he won ‘this’ rumble twelve years ago, the one piece of action Orton had was a match against Kane which he’d end up ‘losing that year. Now if it were Randy Orton fighting Daniel Bryan for the title, and not Sheamus, I wouldn’t have been surprised if the WWE pit Randy Orton to defeat Daniel Bryan because WWE likes pushing their poster boys (And Daniel Bryan was only growing his fanbase around that time). In any case, this victory only serves to prove that Orton is the ‘clear’ favorite to win the finals this season and I’d be surprised if not a ton of fans picked him to win the champions’ rumble.
But who was my MVP of this replay 2012 rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the twenty-nine men and one woman featured in this match, only THIRTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations (Rotten luck as that’s two men short of reaching the halfway mark). The highest count reached up to ‘6’ eliminations, which is five points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination.
I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘coolest’ performance to:
The Great Khali
While I acknowledge how impressed I was seeing Rodriguez perform in this replay, which was drastically an improvement from how he performed in the actual event, I feel that if we weren’t going to have ‘two’ different Ortons in the finals I feel it’s only fair if someone like Khali is featured (Considering that compared to Rodriguez, he not only lasted four slots higher, but he was literally the runner-up). While not every ‘finalist’ in the champions’ rumble are ‘big’ competitors, if I had to determine who’d have the better odds, The Great Khali is the most imposing choice (Even if he has the stiffest moveset). This isn’t really a campaign to have the Punjabi Giant featured in the finals, but more of an imploration to consider that the champions’ rumble could benefit from having ‘one’ MVP in place of a superstar who’s already won and really has nothing to lose anyway.
The nominees for the Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance are:

Usually I’d know ‘exactly’ who’s the worst of the worst when comparing numerous nominations, but the performances of all poor men definitely reflected poorly. While no one really expected Jim Duggan to win, even though he was the very first man to win it all, to lose to someone who’s known for being a ‘manager’ in the WWE… that’s still disappointing. Swagger had been a promising talent in the WWE and to be eliminated that quickly was shocking (Even if it was by a legendary competitor). Barrett’s elimination was as inevitable as his actual run, but still very poor. And as for Otunga… I had high hopes for this man when I saw how physically dominant of a man he was in a previous rumble, and to lose this soon… yikes. In this rare case, they ‘all’ get medals for having the worst run of this series and frankly for them, ‘two’ of them should be lucky they are even getting another chance to prove themselves.
As we reflect on the idea of Randy Orton winning ‘twice’ this season, I feel it’s only a matter of fairness we retain the theme of replaying the classic rumbles ‘at least’ until we have a full roster set (Although I’m still a bit bummed One-Man Gang is missing out… surely there’s a CAW for him in the 2k24 universe somewhere). I say this because ‘If it’s not broken, don’t fix it’ and we can always do a brand-new series of rumbles, nostalgia ones especially, for another season. But for now, we ask the following questions: Who did YOU want to win the 2012 rumble? Honestly, even if Booker T and Jerry Lawler weren’t involved, do we realistically think Michael Cole actually stood a chance? If it weren’t for Big Show, could Jack Swagger have overpowered Sheamus’s attempt to eliminate him? If you couldn’t find a CAW for Kharma, wasn’t there one for ‘Awesome Kong’? And the biggest question of them all:

I kind of agree with you there, we need to have a "Snub Rumble" where people like Kharma and maybe even Tyler Wrecks or whatever his name was have a chance in a future Rumble.
Another idea I had is that we can skip this Rumble since Randy won it twice and do the 2018 Rumble instead of stopping at 2017 in replacement for this 2012 Rumble since Randy won it twice, we can put Randy in next seasons Rumble for winning this one? So we can have The Most Created Rumble winner followed by the winner of the Men vs Boys Rumble and this one for next season's championship?

Early comment but, yes Ricky, please do continue with the established theme of Nostalgia for this season's Royal Rumble Tournament. It'd break the earlier built momentum if, near the end, we return to random character themed competitions. Plus it's nice to feature actual mainstream promotion wrestlers for a change, not that there's anything wrong with fun creations pitted against one another for the ultimate prize.

I say some specific Royal Rumbles. Jobbers, mullets, best athletic builds, mouth piece, etc . Oh did you look up the Mulkey Brothers? The reason for "Mulk-a-mania" was that wrestling fans had a Hulk-a-maina sign and scratched out Hulk and put in Mulk. Lol they were a very respectful and respected Jobber tag team that people like The Road Warriors and The Midnight Express to the Four Horseman would argue and fight over to wrestle at events.

Fun fact Ricky: R-truth and the Miz are allies in this game and that's why they didn't initially attack each other. Unfortunately, although they work extremely well in Rumbles, they seem to turn on each other as soon as it is just them in the ring, rather than at the very end!

Is there a way to do a royal rumble ladder match? Royal rumble rules apply, but the ladder can only be reached if you went under the bottom rope. Lol I haven't played a wrestling game since wrestle mania 2k and WCW/ nwo revenge. Love these rumbles, but I haven't seen anything since 2010. I don't know any of these new characters. Ricky, I personally think you shouldn't give Orton a double entrance, it'd be pointless and too unrealistic. I know it'd require some extra work but you could replay an extra rumble (2018) apart from the remaining 5 (2013-2017) and put the winner in the Champion's Rumble. And yes, since we are close to the end, please replay the remaining actual rumbles from the past, the random themed rumbles can wait.

Season 11 start off with 2018-2024, and if it works properly include the Women's Royal Rumbles as part of the season, hopefully the women who won your nostalgic rumbles will be able to participate in the final rumble of season 11 then throw in other rumbles that works? As for Randy Twice, I would say maybe have a vote amongst your subscribers, either have Randy enter twice or (as I really don't like the wrestler) have Kahli in as an alternate because he was last to be eliminated or runner up in this rumble?
