UAVfutures please do a 4s video and maybe get a radar gun to see just how fast it's going. Or you could test how long it takes to punch it to the top of the smokestack with both batteries
The fact that those 1104 motors seem to have silicone multi-strand wires is a big bonus. Most 11xx-sized motors i've used have enamel-coated single-strand wires which are an absolute PITA to solder.
Stew, regarding the battery slippage. I found the thin white eps type foam packaging that Banggood wraps their products with for shipping works really well. I secure it with some double stick tape.
Hi Stu, The video inversion button on the camera is for fixed wing aircraft I believe, so you can mount the cam with the antenna pointing down thru the belly of the airplane. Pretty cool feature.
I love 3M "dual lock"! It's a great system for fastening batteries on quads and in planes. It's one material that locks securely, not two that "sort of" holds, so it works, and you never have to worry about which bit you stuck to what.
Also, 4s would be exciting to see but Banggood lists the Lizard at only 2-3s. The camera inversion button would likely be for an underslung camera. I have a micro with the same button and if I hold it for a few seconds I can also switch between NTSC and PAL.
I love little micros, but agree that the fish eye effect can be a bit much on these little cams. I think most of these are about 170 degrees, would be great to find some 120 degree lenses.
Flyingbros FPV ya I was the same, but with 120* I felt like it was too narrow, I ended up hitting stuff I didn't see, the fisheye sucks but I'd rather deal with it than not be able to see everything, to each his own though
Maybe 150* might be the sweet spot, but I'm currrently trying out a micro build with the Swift Micro camera and ATX03 vtx, close to 6 grams heavier with an upgraded VAS antenna than and AIO Cam and VTX but the picture quality looks great and works well in low light.
Hey stuuuuuuu Im from Switzerland and Realy like your Videos I got in to the hobby just some weeks ago and love it!! If built the 99 $ Quad that you have made a video about realy enjoy'n it
Hey Stu! I'm a big fan of these little micro's and what most reviews don't talk about is "huckability", "floatiness" and recovery...three things that bigger quads do with ease. Most of the micro reviews do punch out tests...who cares about that? Looks like from your video that the Lizard95 hucks itself over trees and obstacles very easy, and because of the low weight, floats very nicely after a huck. Also looks like it's got some prop-wash on recovery...would love to hear your opinion on those three key elements and maybe start rating quads performance in these categories in the future. For example, I think my Blade Torrent (with iPower 7500KV motors and stock props) and prop guards removed rates: Huckability: 7 Floatiness: 6 Recovery: 7
Careful Stu, Looks like you've lost a screw on the frame for the stack. These prebuilts need a good once over tightening before the first flight as I've lost a few bolts.
That's pretty good. I built my own micro 2.5" on 3s. Reaching up to 70mph. 3-5min flights. Waiting for a new camera and then I'll add the osd vtx while I'm at it. It's at 135grams with battery right now so I guess it will be around 142g with osd vtx. Hopefully it won't slow it down too much haha.
So glad I pulled the trigger on this one! Great review as usual Stew. Thanks for your contributions to the community. I think Grumpy Trev thinks its FAST!
hey stu what receiver did you use to work with your turnigy evolution? ive kicked around the idea of buying a lizard 95 but i wanna use my evolution with it
Hey stew! I could use some help. I'm having trouble flashlight my lizard, and binding it. Dsmx version. Mine doesn't seem to have a bind button, and I can't seem to find the boot pin! Any help?
Stuuu, thanks for your videos. I have seen that you are using the Turnigy Evolution with it ! How did you manage to bind them please ?? I am facing problems doing it with a Lizard/Flysky receiver :'(
With that power, I'm thinking it could carry a 1080p camera, something like the FX Technology DV08 HD 1080P DVR FPV Camera System, or another one of those little cube HD cameras. They only weigh 25g and adding that weight might actually improve the handling and wind resistance. What you think? Could be an awesome freestyle micro, putting out decent 1080p footage which is certainly good enough
hi stu, having trouble binding mine followed the instructions but it is not recognising the receiver on the transmitter,I have a solid blue light on receiver.I have got the flysky version do I turn on ibus on transmitter, any help appreciated keen to fly it.
Stu, I accept your challenge and raise you a build I'm doing (I'll make a video after its complete). I saw your video on the Lizard and checked the specs. I was not fond of paying over $100 with an F3, 10A ESC's etc. So, I decided to build my own version with more up-to-date specs. Your build (BNF, correct?) Lizard 95mm made for 3s Lipo (but, in another of your vids, you experimented and it accepted a 4s Lipo, but possibly burned motors or Lipo?) My build: Frame: similar to Toad 90mm FC F4 mini ESC: 25-28A Motors: 3BB 1105 Cam: Runcam Nano (great FPV cam, same physical size/weight as Lizard's version) VTX: 5v mini/micro 25-200mw switchable version (independent from Runcam Nano) No clover antenna, different one Props: will try 4 blade purple gemfan 2" and/or 3 blade gemfan 2035 Please, do a measurement speed with the Lizard somehow (if you picked up a proper 3-4s Lipo by now for the Lizard 95). I'll do the same (somehow, without a speed gun). Lipo: 2s 550mah, 3s 850mah All parts listed above rated to accept 2-4s Lipos. Price? Approx $120 (without Lipo) Now, I'll see if it can outperform the Lizard 95 (definitely with it accepting 4s officially) in flight. It'll probably be more stable, but don't know if it will be faster. We have to compare notes based on the Lipo's we use (weight and type of mah Lipos, etc).
TydraFPV if the AR fun had the 100mw option, I would already own it. I despise being confined to the sub 100m range. Is your range better on the ARFUN?
I really enjoy all your videos on drones especially the lizard 95. I just got the jumper t12 transmitter and the lizard 95 this week and I can't get it to bind correctly with the t12. Is there any chance you can do a bind video on the lizard 95 on the jumper t12. Or can you help me with this binding process. Please help me out with this
I'm new to drones and have been playing with my DM002 for a couple of weeks and I love it so so much, what would be my next purchase? should I just buy some slighlty larger motors, I've already increased the battery capacity, or should I start to build one from parts? I was thinking of buying a frame and moving everything over and then upgrading parts here and there, I'm on a tight budget. Thanks love the channel.
Eleventh I feel accomplished stew I live in Australia and would love to get in to flying what would you recommend in goggles and do you think I should get this I have been looking at your $99 quad but is there and different ( better) components put in ?
Awesome review. I am still learning to fly, but I got myself a FlexRC Piko Owl and it is super small and seems radically fast! FlexRC also just came out with a couple other small quad that look amazing.
Thank you for your videos! I was waiting for your review on this little beast. I ordered it as soon as it went on sale and I cant wait to fly it this weekend. Now I just need to find a good battery. Maybe 4S?
I just wanted to thank you for your review and let you know that the one I just received form banggood is incredible coming with Betaflight 3.2 angle, acro and air mode it is outstanding the fisheye effect is bad indoor but WOW Thank you again!
Hey I'm in need of help with my tinyhawk 2 freestyle. It's been running great it could go pretty far without breaking up. But now I'm finding myself flying like 20 feet and it goes all fuzzy then black and I have to land where I'm at because I can't see. I'm not sure the problem I was thinking maybe the antenna on goggles?
it would be nice if you mentioned the battery life. It looks like you were getting about 2 minutes out of it. It would also be cool if it had prop guards
great little flyer but I have quite a few of these style micros different brands with different motors, and I seem to have the same problem with them all, I don't know how but i keep losing a bell+prop mid flight ?. for me they have needed lots of maintenance compared to a 5"
that needs a 3d printed two piece, so cover the cop and bottom. air drag drives me nuts. if it was like 4 to 6 grams to build it. would it be worth doing?
I don't know why but the links you put up for the drones they never work for me they always say redirecting and then that little circle starts spinning and it never goes to the page
Talking about programming LEDs, I had this idea to stick some LEDs on each arm, and have their colour correspond to the amount of throttle the motor on the same arm as the LED strip has. Is this even possible?
this video is a bit too hyped up. Have you flown the Aurora 100 or the AR fun? There are other expert micro reviewers out there who question The Lizard versus the AR fun.
Lizard 95 link - Now $126. bit.ly/2rc7fYT like the video if you think I should try it on 4s.
Do it!
Most Defo!!!!...get that 4s on and would love to see some footages of that flight...also if you have already made the tweaks you mentioned...
it's lucky i can't carry a gopro it would be a real shame to see that go up in Flames too
UAVfutures please do a 4s video and maybe get a radar gun to see just how fast it's going. Or you could test how long it takes to punch it to the top of the smokestack with both batteries
The only question is which bit will roast first (on 4S)!
I sense that a lot of people in Canada just had $126 leave their wallet.
No one looks at these anymore but I just got mine back up and running new vtx and camera. Still flys great.!
Yeah because no actual videos. People only buy hype products. The lizard is still awesome!
I see you're using the Aomway Commanders - have your views of them replacing your Fatsharks changed (maybe with the 4:3 firmware update)?
This is the video that made me decide to start fpv, thanks stew!
How to turn Grumpy Trev into Grinning Trev...
The fact that those 1104 motors seem to have silicone multi-strand wires is a big bonus. Most 11xx-sized motors i've used have enamel-coated single-strand wires which are an absolute PITA to solder.

This little guy looks awesome. How much flight time are you getting with the 3s?
about 4 min
Fast fast fast love that drone. Thanks for the great review
Also, 4s would be exciting to see but Banggood lists the Lizard at only 2-3s.
The camera inversion button would likely be for an underslung camera. I have a micro with the same button and if I hold it for a few seconds I can also switch between NTSC and PAL.
“If you have the skills to pay the bills” 😂😂 💯🤑
I was sold after I saw grumpy Trev smile... That is genuine fun right there.. I will but one as soon as I get money
good review. looks like a fun little quad
yeah, I like this comment
I love little micros, but agree that the fish eye effect can be a bit much on these little cams. I think most of these are about 170 degrees, would be great to find some 120 degree lenses.

how did that camera build work out for you? Is it superior to what comes with the Lizard95?
Hey stuuuuuuu
Im from Switzerland and Realy like your Videos I got in to the hobby just some weeks ago and love it!! If built the 99 $ Quad that you have made a video about realy enjoy'n it

Insane. FRSky version already sold out… can't wait!
So glad I pulled the trigger on this one! Great review as usual Stew. Thanks for your contributions to the community. I think Grumpy Trev thinks its FAST!
Wait, so what's the flight time?
4 min
Hey Stew, did you have any issues with trying to setup with the taranis x9d? mines only seeing 4 channels, so not able to arm via switch.. :/
hey stu what receiver did you use to work with your turnigy evolution? ive kicked around the idea of buying a lizard 95 but i wanna use my evolution with it
That thing is insanely fast. I an actually saving up some money buy one. Cant wait to buy it. Awesome vid as always bro.
I'm going from the tarot 130 on 3S (I've only put maybe 30 packs through it) to the Lizard when it arrives. Is it too big a jump in speed/control?
Did you have the flysky reciever in the lizard or the reciever for the Turnigy Evolution?
I am facing problems doing it with a Lizard/Flysky receiver :'(
stu how was this footage recorded? What receiver / dvr / goggles are you using?
can you put the runcam mini on there instead with a 2.5 lens?
How does it stack up against the Arfun 90?
With that power, I'm thinking it could carry a 1080p camera, something like the FX Technology DV08 HD 1080P DVR FPV Camera System, or another one of those little cube HD cameras. Hey guys. I think it's fast
120km/h ...it's fast
120km/h ...it's fast
wow crazy, thanks for the video.
Do you know if it can be used with the goglees that comes with the eachine E013 combo.
Did you get the one with flysky? Because I'm wondering how you got the turnigy Evolution connected
It's a tweaked Aurora 100, which is good. Lower KV motors to allow for 3s batteries over the A100's 2s. It's the future man.

My build:
Frame: similar to Toad 90mm
FC F4 mini
ESC: 25-28A
Motors: 3BB 1105
Cam: Runcam Nano (great FPV cam, same physical size/weight as Lizard's version)
VTX: 5v mini/micro 25-200mw switchable version (independent from Runcam Nano) No clover antenna, different one
Props: will try 4 blade purple gemfan 2" and/or 3 blade gemfan 2035
Please, do a measurement speed with the Lizard somehow (if you picked up a proper 3-4s Lipo by now for the Lizard 95). I'll do the same (somehow, without a speed gun).

stew! great review! but now you need to review the arfun 90! it will blow you away!!!!
TydraFPV if the AR fun had the 100mw option, I would already own it. I despise being confined to the sub 100m range. Is your range better on the ARFUN?
Hello! newbie here in the box there is no remote included, what remote should I buy for me to use it and bind it on that lizard 95?
Would your recommend this or the ARFUN 95 pro?
Lmfao you and Grumpy Trev are hilarious together Stew :D
I really enjoy all your videos on drones especially the lizard 95. I just got the jumper t12 transmitter and the lizard 95 this week and I can't get it to bind correctly with the t12. Is there any chance you can do a bind video on the lizard 95 on the jumper t12. Or can you help me with this binding process. Please help me out with this

It makes me happy to just watch and learn from your chamnel
I just had to get one. Not sure what other props will work as stock props all sold out.
FYI - you have 1105 listed in description, but it's a 1104 motors. great review mate.
thanks, fixed it
Im new to racing drones and i was wondering if this drone had to be programed in beta flight, or does it come pre programed
So it is compatible with the FlySky Reciever and the Turnigy Evolution?
That thing is so tiny. DVR footage is crazy. Must build!!!
thank you for all your good videos end hard work!
Hey Stewart can you possibly do a comparison of the Arfun 90 Vs the Lizard 95?
Have you made the change to the Commanders?
Jye Smith I would like to know that as well noticed that's what he was wearing and was about to ask that myself
I hope so. Lets face it, after the review he gave the commanders it was pretty clear he only stayed with Fat Shark because of brand loyalty.
Jye Smith I would like to know too, looks like you and Trevor have both made the switch.
Commanders
I would, if my order wasn't still waiting for the "manufacturer update" (backorder). Now they have allegedly shipped it, but I am not sure...
What is the flight time on this? And what do you attribute the speed to? (are any of the parts unusual?)
Awesome review. I am still learning to fly, but I got myself a FlexRC Piko Owl and it is super small and seems radically fast! FlexRC also just came out with a couple other small quad that look amazing.
flexrc.com/product/ascent-frame/
Do you see the old tv lines and connection mess ups while flying it?
looking good. runcam mini upgrade and velcro all it needs.
I love your experience and especially Grumpy ..might be cause im old....cheers Stu
lddf
Thank you for your videos! I was waiting for your review on this little beast. I ordered it as soon as it went on sale and I cant wait to fly it this weekend. Now I just need to find a good battery. Maybe 4S?
awesome :D i just ordered one a few days ago! CANT WAIT!!!!!
Damn you Stu. I was gonna buy this already, and had it in my cart. When I went to buy it, the FrSky version had sold out. I think it's because of you.
What do you use to charge your xt30 batteries?
Which battery would you recommend for this tiny drone?
I just wanted to thank you for your review and let you know that the one I just received form banggood is incredible coming with Betaflight 3.2 angle, acro and air mode it is outstanding the fisheye effect is bad indoor but WOW Thank you again!
Have you tuned the pid's?
any of the receivers compatible with the turnigy evolution?
Hey, on how many amps are you charging its batteries? i cant find its max.
Hey Stew, love your videos :)
I've noticed you use Turnigy Evolution radio.
Which receiver option works with it? FlySky?
Stefan Dyakov , I am wondering the exact same thing. Hope someone chimes in.
Hey I'm in need of help with my tinyhawk 2 freestyle. It's been running great it could go pretty far without breaking up. But now I'm finding myself flying like 20 feet and it goes all fuzzy then black and I have to land where I'm at because I can't see. I'm not sure the problem I was thinking maybe the antenna on goggles?
hi, thanks for the review. can you please tell me what receiver do you use on it in order to bind the turnigy evo?
it would be nice if you mentioned the battery life. It looks like you were getting about 2 minutes out of it. It would also be cool if it had prop guards
If you need new props I suggest the Gemfan 2035n props... I really love mine. My review should be up tomorrow
great little flyer but I have quite a few of these style micros different brands with different motors, and I seem to have the same problem with them all, I don't know how but i keep losing a bell+prop mid flight ?. for me they have needed lots of maintenance compared to a 5"
Which FPV Gogles are te best to buy?
hay there what vision of the receiver binds with the turnigy evolution? Flysky 8ch AFHDS2A receiver Ibus?
chuckcrunch1 yes.
thanks
that needs a 3d printed two piece, so cover the cop and bottom. air drag drives me nuts. if it was like 4 to 6 grams to build it. would it be worth doing?
I don't know why but the links you put up for the drones they never work for me they always say redirecting and then that little circle starts spinning and it never goes to the page
Seems that Eachine is starting to get their s#¥t together!!!???
J.FINESSE FLIGHTS lol they always had good quads
MultiDragola Not always( ex:eachine v-tail)
Well the wizard was pretty good price/quality/performances
I have had alot of good stuff from eachine, from brushed micros to vtx's, its all been good.
Bishop Vick I just said some of their quads like the racer 180 or the assasin 180 are not that good
Airblade Creampuff with RotorX 1105B and 2535 props and 3S (or 4S). A tad over 100g and rips faster than a lot of 5" quads...
Will this connect to eachine 007 fpv goggles and a spektrum DXe transmitter?
Loki x2 with rotorx 1105b motors is stupid fast n light
love these props work perfect for my aurora90
If you had to choose Wizard X220 or this one?
Talking about programming LEDs, I had this idea to stick some LEDs on each arm, and have their colour correspond to the amount of throttle the motor on the same arm as the LED strip has. Is this even possible?
That would destroy my little parrot Hydro drone... Wow that's fast also good skills my friend...
awesome vid stew, how did you like flying with the aomway commanders
love them
UAVfutures awesome I have just order some, suppose to arrive on Monday
Which one of these would be able to bind to my Turnigy Evolution radio?
Hello, thanks for the review! .. can i install runcam split to Eachine Lizard95 ?
What Transmitter is compatible with that micro quadcopter?
I just ordered one. I couldn't resist. I want to do micro freestyle in all those spots too small for my 220mm. Lol.
Hi Stew. So have you clocked its speed, how fast is it? It is wicked fast though.
this video is a bit too hyped up. Have you flown the Aurora 100 or the AR fun? There are other expert micro reviewers out there who question The Lizard versus the AR fun.
Thanks for the video. Would you say it's faster than the rotorx atom with 1306 motors?
