  • #realestate #Guanacaste #Tamarindorealestate 'Talking Real Estate in Tamarindo ( Guanacaste Province ) of Costa Rica w/michael alan and Matt' michael alan of Travel Costa Rica NOW chats with Costa Rica Matt from Coldwell Bankers in the Tamarindo area of Costa Rica. We love to chat with Matt from time to time to see what's happening in the real estate sector up in his neck of the woods in Costa Rica. We like Matt. We believe he's honest, knowledgeable, transparent and treats clients more like family and friends than some gringo looking for property. We like that because we do the same. So in this video, we're just talking about what's going on in the real estate market in Costa Rica in the summer of 2022. Buyers market? Sellers market? hot properties. How to get a good deal. Living in Costa Rica. Renting before buying. Luxury homes. Everybody is selling land.
Questions about Properties of you want to SELL your land, business, house in Costa Rica, Travel Costa Rica Now Real Estate can help- info@travelcostaricanow.com

I want to make it very clear. We are NOT trying to talk you into buying property of any kind in Costa Rica Not land in Costa Rica, not a beach condo in Costa Rica, not a family style house in Costa Rica, or in a gated community in Costa Rica. We are merely trying to let you know, give you some perspective of what's going on in the real estate market in Costa Rica. I see the same things that Matt has seen in his area but trust me, if we didn't agree, we would let you know. It just so happens we share a lot of the same sensibilities about living the pura vida in Costa Rica.
Before moving and making a life in Costa Rica, you should have already spent at at least 6 months to a year livng here. Don't buy anything in Costa Rica until you are absolutely sure you want to make a life in Costa Rica. Renting before buying can save you thousands of dollars as well as a years worth of sleepless nights. Gringo Pricing is real. It doesn't matter whether you live here or not. Spent time in Costa Rica or not.
START HERE to find out if Costa Rica is right for you or not, so if you really want to get a good idea if Costa Rica is right for you- Check OUT these videos and you will know within the hour if you should pursue a life in Costa Rica or NOT. If you decide Costa Rica might be a good fit, maybe now is the time to contact us at- info@travelcostaricanow.com

Making the move to Costa Rica, live in Costa Rica can be quite the adventure, possibly stressful but definitely an adventure. Nothing can be more annoying, frustrating than learning things the hard way because you really don't understand how it is in Costa Rica, especially in the gringo community. The trick is to try and not make too big of mistakes the first year or two you are living in Costa Rica. For example, gringo pricing, which is a real thing, happens to just about everyone who makes the move, even when they've done the research, go figure. But eventually we all learn. 2 things I recommend you don't do the first two years of living in Costa Rica is buy property and jump into getting your residency, especially when you don't even know you will really like living abroad, overseas, international living in Costa Rica. So in general those are two good rules to follow. Yes, obviously there are exceptions but that doesn't mean you are one of them. Another general rule is to not jump into a small business that you really had no intention of getting into in the first place. But friends here have a way of separating gringos, expat community, from their money. Pick your friends wisely in Costa Rica. Wait to start that business. Observe your surroundings and the people in them before making fast friends with anyone in Costa Rica.
I hope you ENjoYed our chat with Matt in this video, 'Talking Real Estate in Tamarindo ( Guanacaste Province ) of Costa Rica w/michael alan and Matt' and found it helpful.

Great Job Matt & Michael!! Thank You.. :-)
Defiantly I see the huge spike in popularity in the areas you mentioned... It's very hard to still be on the sideline and just watching this all... I still have not been able to convince my wife to make the plunge :-( I'm hoping for the prices to come back down a bit, but honestly I don't think there will be much hope for that... I think the word is out now and there is no looking back for your part of the world.

Toronto prices are insane and just not stopping. $600,000 is probably for a bachelor, not even 1 Bedroom.

The fact that these guys collaborate verifies they are the two most trustworthy sources of Costa Rica information. Book your trip with Mike, buy your property with Matt.

Hey guys. Just love all your videos. Just wondering is it possible to purchase a 3 bedroom place for around $200,000 USD? In and Around the Tamarindo Area that would be within Bus Distance to one of the Private Schools? Just thinking about Buying something that could be used for the Investor Visa.

When I'm living in Costa Rica I'll be perfectly happy with a small Tico style place at a comfortable altitude. The simple life for me.

wer möchte in Tamarindo leben? Die Grundstücke sind massive überteuert, das Klima ist schrecklich heiss, nice für Urlaub aber nicht um zu leben. Zu letzt, an der Pazifik Küste findest du die schlechteste Erde auf Costa Rica.
