That is a late 90's Gibson Les Paul Studio. I mention it's late 90's because it's a solid piece of wood. The new ones have hollowed out channels that make it half the weight but make the tone a little "airy".

For the videos in the studio I use garageband's model of the Vox AC30. Live I use an actual AC30. The only effect I'm using is delay. Every lesson at worship artistry has a section describing the effects we are using on the song.

The full lesson won't be available until next week but after a quick listen I can tell there's very little electric work in the song. The repeating riff that happens over the chord changes of the chorus for most of the song is tremelo picked with a ton of reverb and delay on it. The notes themselves are very simple.

I'm curious as to how I would transpose this into a different key. My church has multiply female vocalists and as such, we end up in A, B, D and G frequently.

Question: How do you get away with using the actual recordings in your video? Do you pay a licensing fee for every video?
Legally, they would have to obtain a synch license from Hillsong, and pay royalties according to streams viewed.
They could pay a blanket fee or a one-time cost, or even still, Hillsong could have granted them a gratis synch license, which affords WA free use.
Then again, WA could go through a licensing administer like the Harry Fox Agency, and have Harry Fox take care of all the gritty details.
I would be interested to see what they do myself.
Yes we do have licenses for both the master recordings and the performances. We have built good relationships with the labels and have multiple people dedicated to working with labels. We're on the up and up.
