I hope they end up reworking every ability instead of "converting" it to the new system. Stands that did not get reworked are bad since their moveset was made to be used with lmb v1 in the old system and not this new system so you can't really do anything in a fight with them.
Sakuya and d4c love train are pretty good still
The specs are very good in the new combat but yeah I feel like some stands just suck since they werent reworked
@@timatoma8076 Sakuya got alot of big changes and D4C LT was made for the lmb v4 so not much difference in the combos except meter needs to be taken into account.

To quickly explain the new combat, if your character glows orange while using a move, it means it's uncancellable. And with Locke, the Energy Overflow just makes every move uncancellable for a short period of time.
Honestly, I like it.
There's a lot of distinction between stands now (if you wanna go ranged you go sakuya or anshen, if you like to constantly be at the enemy's throat you can use Umbra, if you're into rounders you can play Locke and SPTW for example)
While some stands became unusable (Candy Cutlass for example, that thing is so trash you're better off just not using it), some became actually good.
Standless also basically became great against zoners to some extent (Stylish Sweeps, Drop Kick, and Invitation to Hell) then there's Brawler's Instinct. (We ain't gonna sugarcoat it)

Nice Voice but I still think even if the combat is kinda better, AUT still lacked some content (ofc). But I really like the reworks, one of the rework I love is TWOH because it's really look cool and kind of OP If I may say. Anyways SP and TW is also fun.

the update is fine, the reworks are great but I still haven't adapted, it's hard to fight now (in my case) when it's about to hit someone nearby, they move too fast, or it doesn't register, and the specs...especially Gojo who became a Headache, but I guess it takes getting used to, but still, could you give some advice on how to play now?

Not to mention that Flashbangs weren't around until the 1970s... and Part 7 takes place in 1890, 1891 towards the end if you want very specific details.
Diego with The World WAS seen using Barbed Wire and Gasoline, which were things he had in the previous version, yet they don't resurface here.

hey btw the best way to get the stands or specs that are in the shop is to use king crimson use that dodge move when you get like 100 bar or 50 whatever you want and just use stand off mainly and spawn kill the thugs it took me like 30 minutes to get enough to buy locke (it could take you less time but I had someone that kept on being annoying and killing the thugs even when it's clear that I am using them and also time can drain the bar still so yeah and btw idk if it the server but try not to get the thugs all at the same time like still hit them but like damage like 1 or 2 of them for me if you killed them at the same time it take a little ok not a little but a lot of time for them to respawn and your bar would be drained all the way so yeah but keep doing that and you can buy all of the new stands / specs in one day under like 10 hours maybe)

good to see aut isnt completely dead and that the update is here this was much needed considering aut got so boring even yts stopped uploading on it but overall yeah w update there might be bugs and all but its still good
Bro sptw was buffed so much in the uptade and its even rare cause you must kill umbra to get it the uptade was also good since stand reworks were finally here but tusk and mih were removed due to being in process of reworking them too this uptade was very cool in my opinion

I have it and the move-set looks completely different. But, when i equip it, the only stand i summon is normal sp. Kinda weird.
@@YeetusThePotGuy sp is the default for stuff that hasn't been replaced in the combat rework, since like, why spend like 2 hours giving something the new stun mechanics and ragdoll mechanics when you're reworking it next update
Btw. Its the same thing with gaster. The only difference is that i cant see hes move-set from my inventory. Strange (i hope they also rework the other undertale characters, they are so ass rn)

Locke might be missing some moves that might be added in later updates cause it had more in public test

Prob almost everyone knows but relover frank is the same as powder fire its just if you hold it you use relover frank which if it hits your stand summons as person and hits them but powder fire is a normal gun shot

UPDATE WAS A BIG BIG W the stand rework and combat rework was so good even in farming after 20 minutes I got 1 mil and I managed to get a festival platinum after 2 hours of the new update
to anyone wondering the "Power fire" he showcased is actually revolver flank i have no idea how to use it you just use it in stand off mode and it will shoot a bullet and summon tw au behind the person that was hit normal power fire does 45 damage just to let you know!
By the hair in the teaser that looks like kars I think they are going to add ultimate life form back 😮

This update is cool and all when it comes to combat, but I have 1 main problem. There is almost no way to heal yourself, even when not in combat, and it's super annoying having to reset after every fight.
One of the things I don’t like about the update is how some people (me included) didn’t get the TWR skin, even though we had Locke before the update.
Basically, if you had
Locke equipped before the update, the game must’ve thought you got it from the shop or something so they didn’t give you the skin :/

This is where it get interesting, it won't stop pursuing target💀, well tusk.... Just unable to use it whenever i use the saint arm, suddenly star platinum appear? While it indicates that i already using tusk

yes yes very nice and everything, but when are they going to fix the errors that are already in place after this update, you still can't even talk to the jotaro who gives you the mission for the cursed orb And the duck that gives you the mission to get the dawn, I hope that after this update they will fix the errors that already exist, because after this update the other stands that we had no longer appear

in my opinion the new system still needs work the blocking system is good but the only downside to it is u can perfect block knives which is dumb and the move cancel kinda is eh

Finally after 2 years
Welp, this update was almost good, but it broke pretty much all of my rare stands, can't use Goku, mih, sol, planet shaper, or any other rare stand, they all just appear as star platinum in game....
i swear they will increase the cd of the Powder Fire or reduce it’s dmg
I like most things but balancing is inside the gutter...
1. Stands have an immense advantage over specs in reaction time
The new heat bar has quite literally fucked over some specs like Broly, Dawn, etc. as too many moves require heat, whereas stands like KC and SPTW have almost no moves requiring heat.
2. SPTW is more braindead then ever
I have fought at least 20 SPTW users since the update: 12-14 just ran + stopped time + spammed T (teleport punch). On top of this, SPTW has no awakening requirement for the BD cutscene now and can awaken without low HP, combine all this with healing and you have an unbalanced as hell stand.
3. Locke is a cancerous stand
Locke is great don't get me wrong, but on god it has too many uncancellable moves and almost 0 chance of blocking or avoiding the attacks. It needs a major nerf or a major balancing change.
4. Mythics...mythics mythics mythics...
For the love of god, mythics have been rising far too much. I understand that 8/10 unobs are TWOH reskins (*cough* DJ, Noob, Cypher, Galizur, etc. *cough*), but idk how people seriously think an unob is worth 1-2 mythics, people are trading away stands/skins that can NEVER BE OBTAINED without duping or trading, these aren't even event or seasonal.
On top of that, new mythics for stands nobody uses like Virtuoso for Brickbattle are unnecessary and will just ruin the economy balance between obs and unobs further; but Yone's upcoming mythic Dawnbringer is lit and is necessary imo.
In other games, permanent unobs either go the way of AUT or actually have good and distinct value.
Ex.:
YBA has the AUT economy, with permanent unobs like TWAU:OH being below obtainable skins like Waifu v3, seasonal skins like Bloodthirster, etc.
Smaller games like most modded ABDM games have done a much better job of keeping unobs distinct, to pay homage to OG supporters/veterans and keep their value intact.
Anyway this problem will prob never be fixed, so its pointless to talk about; I hope they at least balance SPTW, Locke, Hamon, and other new/reworked stands/specs.
I am kinda bummed out that locke did not have a barrage but other then that its pretty cool

As good as the new system is on paper, in practice its TERRIBLE things hit from miles away, barely anything really registers even if the hits are directly in the persons face. The combats faster but that just means the latency issues are worse than the old system, and the old system already sucked for latency. I do love how every attack hits harder though.
I find Jabs overpowered yet I think they're supposed to be nerfed.
They're faster, and can cancel moves. Albeit, In my experience, you can't just use them to combo extend anymore, which is good.

Please tell me, I have such a problem in AUT: I can’t rotate the screen, to be more precise, when I interact with the screen, the character moves and for some reason the stand is in the body of my character, how to fix it?

Haven't played in like a year so when I saw there was an update I tried it out to see what changed and unsurprisingly only like 3 of my stands/specs actually worked
This is because most abilities are getting reworked so star platinum is a placeholder for them
