Have a Jennov PTZ camera. Was working great. Now it will not connect to the app. I rolled it back to factory and my router sees it, the app sees it but when it tries to connect it never does. Any ideas on what could be going on. I have another Jennov and it works just fine, so I know it is not a case of not knowing what to do to configure it. I even downloaded the newer CAMHIPRO app and tried to connect both..One worked the PTZ camera did not.
Follow up is that I know the camera is working with other apps, IPCAM Free but I like the functions with CAMHIPRO with the alerting..anyone who has had this issue just shoot me a line. Thanks.
@@cameratuyhoa the issue as I said is not IP or wifi related since I can configure and add the camera to other camera apps..just no longer to CAMHI or CAMHIPRO.
@@cameratuyhoa Was able to port forward the camera and have Jennov take a look at it..Looks like there was a setting that had been disabled somehow..So I am all good. Thanks for the ideas. Jennov support was very helpful, once I was able to show them the issue.
Also Jennov showed me that if you Camera is offline, no need to take it down and reconnect it with a patch cable to your router to configure it again. This model puts out it's own wi-fi signal, you connect to it with pass code 1234567. Then go into the app and configure it to pick up a IP from your 2.4ghz wifi. In case anyone else has had this issue there you go.

This! Can someone detail this? Lost connection and now get “offline.” Cannot access the camera without major ladder usage. Just want to reset from the ground.
I have to unplug then plug power back up daily. If I hit reset then I have to bring camera back in house and reconnect to wifi manually. I just don't know what setting I have possibly changed. Does anyone know?
cannot get second camera to reconnect. Don't know why after following the instruction video. rebooted phone and camera. reinstalled app. only recognizes one of the cameras. there are no stickers to scan like the video shows to sync camera.

@@2stand4truth you can try by using lan cable. Connection between camera and wifi router. Then, you choose to automatically receive the camera, enter username admin and password: admin
There are too many things that lead to the camera offline, for example: power outage, loss of wifi connection, change wifi password. The best way you should reset the camera and reinstall.
CanHi is very bad software. Intermittent resetting back to default alarm sensitivity and scheduled record...even if this is deactivated and stored several times from iphone CamHi app. Really bad product!

I was not able to connect to wifi and tried to press the reset button after which the camera stopped making sound. So, it got worse. Any advice?

@@johnathansparks1678 Please use Lan wire, to connect to the router. Then you go to settings to switch to wifi network.

You should hold your phone close to the camera 20cm away to setup the camera.
