Hi. Just found your channel last night and I substituted because I LOVE how you explain everything. You make it look so easy! I have a question about the fondant on the board. How long does it take to dry? I've always been afraid to do this method because I'm afraid that hand prints will get on it when handling/ transporting. Also, I usually add fruit filling inside my cakes and so I refrigerate them and I don't think the fondant will harden? Please let me know. And thank you so very much. Thank you so much!! And a big warm welcome to my channel :D Drying time can vary greatly depending on the colour, brand and room temperature. I tend to cover my board once I've finished messing with the actual cake part - then after a few hours I can get on with putting thing on the board etc. Aww sorry, I dont refrigerate my cakes so don't have much advice on that part, but I know fondant can 'sweat' in the fridge. if you dont touch it though and wait until it comes back to room temperature it should be fine - or try and use chocolate! xx

I have read the comments and understand that u said u don't put the fondant cake in the fridge. I want to know if you put ganached cake in a fridge? Even between 2 layers ganaching? Sooooo adorable! ❤️❤️ I noticed when smoothing out the fondant on the cake, you seem quite rough. I know this cake has support but even a simple 4 layer cake of mine will lean when I'm doing the crumb coat 😭 I'll almost always end up with a finished slanted cake. How do you stop cakes leaning (basically, about to fall apart)? It's driving me mad 😥
Wow! Or should that be ‘POW!’ This may sound like a strange request, but could you do a tutorial of a Snow White minion please? My Panto Society is doing ‘Snow White and the Mini-Ones’ in January, and I always make a themed cake for our after show party. Pretty please? 😍😍😍
ha ha that sounds awesome! Most of my tutorials are actual orders, and I dont think I'm going to get a request for one of those anytime soon, however its easily done following most of the initial steps, but giving her a skirt in yellow, and a blue top, then a black short hair style with red bow :D

Hi, no I never put my cakes in the fridge - I feel it dries the sponge cake out.
