I've found Cpt + LT+ Hellblasters+ Fire Discipline is a super nasty combo too. Always in Dev Doctrine with Rites of Battle. Always overcharging for 20 shots of 8/-3/2d. Doing all the things because of weapon profile + LT. Lethals + Exploding 5s + AP -3, then 1CP (or 0cp if running Bobby G in Supreme Strat) to then ignore cover and make the Hellblaster shots AP -4. This combo is amazing for me, and freeing up Calgar to lead other units, giving me 2 units that can do everything.
@@AKDragonFish3D I like it too, so basically between the two you split up the strengths of one unit into two, so for example you go with BGV and a lieutenant with Calgar as the second option, great option coming out of a land raider and sitting on objectives, but for me personally that’s more points between two weaker units that can do one or the other but can’t do both which is why I stand by this build myself, the BGV are better off in a impulsor with a Judi imo, ff trumps the Calgar build of BGV, the second closest for me is the eradicator build as it gives more damage than the Hellblasters/Aggressors and some of the Aggressors melee output
You should make a video about how to use deathwatch once that codex comes out. Your perspective as a more or less competitive deathwatch/space marine player is exactly what I want to hear as I form my opinion about the change. My initial thought is it’s cool that I can take them in other armies now and it fits lore, but I wanna see what guys like you feel about it and what combos you can find in that new codex. Another fun video. Great work as always.
