I joined a German clan (106. Panzer Brigade) as an American and the level of communication is absolutely insane. This game, which I already had a lot of fun with the past few years, was taken to a whole other level. Of course, sometimes I don’t understand what they say 😅 but most of the time I do and it’s great. I prefer rifleman and MG.
I am a veteran player. I focus almost exclusively on Infantry non specialty positions. (Infantry, rifleman, Assault AND Support) I prefer to play American, (Mostly) I love the Point man loadout with the M1 Carbine and the 4 Grenades. I am a terrible shot, so I try to to focus on game skills that help my squad. Like communication, Calling out target accurately, suppressive fire and keeping an eye on the map so the rest of the squad can focus on the fight. I think I'm doing my best work as a Squad leader, and I'm really working on developing those skills. I have yet to venture in Commander, but I will. I like your videos GoudaGamer because I think they reflect a similar sensibility to my own. Plus they are instructive, clear and focused.
Thanks mate! I think the working together part is more important than the shooting in this game as it's about the greater goal as a team rather than KD
There are times when I'll play 20 matches over a week, the 21st match was worth all the grief. Great channel. Hope to see you out there some day. Redd**dlobsterf**h
Another great video! I pretty much always play squad leader. I like having the ability to place OPs and garrisons, I really like the choice of kits, and it's fun to organise a squad and get them working as a team
Been playing for just two weeks now, focusing on main soldiers, been squad leader a couple of times, as no one else wanted to do it. spend most games trying to see which squads are talking and join them. Wanted to play this game for ages, but didn't have the hardware to do so. Watched loads of videos like yours to gain knowledge and how to play properly. It's a game that needs teamwork and communication between all, and it's frustrating to be in squads who don't talk, don't ping and just run about as if its COD or Battlefield.
Right now my focus has been on Squad Lead and Support, I nearly have Support maxed now, After those 2 I will need to finish off engineer. Rank 154 in Total. And I normally just play in the US East/West crossplay Servers with a few friends we bounce around from one to the other.
i find that more people talk in the evenings my time(PST) then when im on during the day. I just started playing a couple of weeks ago, but never had a gamer community that was very helpfull to new players. I want to play recon, as its the only class i havent tried yet. Not sure if ill play commander since they seem to get a lot of grief it they are not good lol.
I always play with the focus on communication. I mostly SL or tank commander, often on the flank or pushing behind the lines, and always, always harassing recon squads until they rage and respawn at the nearest garrison.
I'm at the stage where I don't play Commander - its too frustrating, and only play Squad leader when there is an experienced squad without a squad lead, I'm so discouraged by the influx of new players who have made no effort to understand the game and just want to run around shooting people, the least filled squad positions, Support and Engineer, the most important squad positions ... Support and Engineer.
I'm one of the new players in the minority that have tried to learn the game properly. I am far from perfect, only level 62 or something, but I play my role. If there's no SL I take it on but usually I play engineer or support! Engineer is mostly frustrating if you can't get supplies and support is frustrating when you see all the officers walking past the supplies you dropped in good positions for garrison's! When you get a good squad/team then it's a great game, maybe my favourite FPS shooter ever, whether we win or lose.
But then again like you’re saying, every time I play I’ll get 1-2 games that blow me away with I’ll make some friends, have an amazing time and have a really fun match. So yin/yang I guess
You know what pisses me off about this game, SL only putting up garries no OP but they’re putting them 500m from where you want to go and they only put one down. I’m still leveling some classes I need to do so till then I don’t like jumping in as one but what’s with that also why do anti tank slots get filled straight away but when a tank or half track rolls up they’re all pushing the objective getting one tapped whyyyy?
I always play with randoms as none of my friends game and I usually squad lead (or play support/engineer roles for nodes and supplies). I find that I have great games leading randoms and terrible games in equal numbers. I almost always take SL when I see a squad with no SL. One thing I think that doesn't get talked about as much is you can have a great squad but not have a great game as SL if command chat (commander and other SL's) suck and are toxic.
I dont own the game yet. Been looking at at times it for years. Not sure Ill ever spot enemies but it looks fun when people work together. As an old mmo player working with the team and according to role to accomplish something in a ww2 setting sound great. But also looks hard, I still dont see the enemies you are killing hehe People complain that it doesnt really happen all that much though.
I usually try to take SL cause no one flanks, builds garrisons, communicates etc. I get soo pissed I usually end up doing it myself. There’s some games I’m just like yeah I’ll be a role player but usually the commander and/or squad lead sucks so it makes the game miserable. The game has gone really downhill especially with no one communicating. They should make it a requirement to have a mic and a mic check before games.
Bruh, you are the reason I take it upon myself to adopt abandoned squads and become their lead!!!
o7

Spotter main, the forever pain of no mic snipers.

Thanks mate! For sure

Yes true and Squad Leading really makes it very different from other games in terms of experience
just found your video in my suggested. your videos are well made and i also love your voice lmao
Thanks mate! I appreciate that! The beautiful Dutch accent ;)

Yeah I feel you man
Great vid, what server do you usually play or recommend?
Thanks! I just look at low ping and if it's not full, so I don't really have preferred ones. I think the clan servers are generally better though

The game is so much better when a squad communicates.

Just imagining a proper hit with the shovel here 2:05 😅

Yeah the influx had a big influence, but hopefully it will settle down at some point

That garrison placement by command was painful
Great videos! keep it pushin!
But then again like you’re saying, every time I play I’ll get 1-2 games that blow me away with I’ll make some friends, have an amazing time and have a really fun match. So yin/yang I guess
Yeah for sure man! I do have deeply frustrating games too but the good ones make it worth it
You know what pisses me off about this game, SL only putting up garries no OP but they’re putting them 500m from where you want to go and they only put one down. Yeah that's a really fair point!
Interesting video! 🏆🙂🙏🏼

haha yeah it's a game you gotta learn. It does become second nature after a while though (at least for me)
Nice fight!
Yup
