Loved the drone shots of the valley. Really shows how close to the river the land is. Travis talks about it but its hard to see. Now please show the hills and slopes he talks about. Glad to see you continuing your partnership with Kuhn.
Finding a good woman can be hard. I was lucky on the first real try. I found her sitting under an apple in blue jeans, work shirt and barefoot reading a book when I went to look at a horse trailer. Our mothers warned us that we wouldn't last a year. I wish they were still alive. My wife and I talk to each other and we know how the other thinks. A big limit for my wife is she's deaf. We've had some hard times. One was when I went to Desert Storm and second was when our daughter went to Iraq for a year. I enjoy your site, thank you for all the hard work. We just celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary
Wow! Lots of hay there at the valley. I know it was a tight windrow that you were going for, but that the tractor was scraping its belly on the windrow...nice that there's so much.
I live in Australia, in the state of Victoria, I am now a retired Dairy farmer and I use to Wrap all my silage and I only made hay from November and December, I did the same with Lercerne [Alpha ]. Good to see you and Hanna changing the mower knives.
I remember a few times on the farm putting fresh cut hay in the feeding trough for the heifers and they went after it like kids let loose into a candy store with a pocket full of money. My family farmed 500 acres in southeast Minnesota up into 1981 when my parents divorced. We had about 300 cattle and milked around 175 cows at a time. My dad had been on the Minnesota Dairy Promotion Board and spoke at many of them. He attended multiple Republican $1000 to $5000 a plate dinners including one at which he sat back to back with then President Ford.
Beautiful, Rich Crop of hay❣️❣️Really enjoyed seeing a field it looks so lovely in fact the best I seen this year!! You have a very nice farm and I enjoyed this video❣️❣️ Especially enjoyed your life changing out the blades and well done job!!I’m not a women’s liver but I’m all for women’s rights and proving that we’re just as capable as possible. I grew up on a farm and I was short and petite and I spent my whole life proving how tough I was. One of the happiest days of my life was the day and my father said he would rather work with me any day of the week and my brothers not only because I was a good worker but because I anticipated what needed to be done before He had to ask and also I didn’t waste any time when we were working😊☺️ that was a good cook and Baker in the house but I loved being outside with my father and I miss him terribly. This was my first time seeing your video and I will be much interested in following him in the future!!💕 God bless you both and take care.. May all your dreams come true!!!!!
Like how well your intern catches on, maybe in the future years she can do a video of you (the intern) changing a diaper! Mowing hay with a discbine has to be the least stressful tractor driving as long as the fawns stay out of the hayfield.
Even though it was headed out and above your head. Lol. I'm glad it was safe to make the hay on the bottom bottom. Love the 🦌 nothing runs like a deer. 🚜 Having a second mower even demo one boy it speeds things up. Two mowers two barriers, one hay wrapper. Smart for your operation. Hannah and Ryan friends forever! 🙂
Ryan, don't poke the intern. Especially when she's the one holding the tools. You are an awesome couple. So happy for you both. Stay safe and God bless.
Just standing cooking the tea/supper and you vid pops up 😁 now iv to try and not burn the tea 🤣 nice seeing the kuhn mowers are still going strong from when I used to demo them over here. Stay safe 🏴
Great video the crop looks awesome that mower is a beast chopping that hay down when kuhn comes back for their bail wrapper just hide it in the woods and act like u don't know anything
Hey Ryan!! Hey Hannah!! Need some cardboard when you're working on the ground. Makes it easier to keep track of tools and parts too. That's some tall grass you guys have. Have a great week.
Buying a bale wrapper is a great idea, next thing I'd say would be worth buying is a self loading bale wagon after all you save alot of time and money with only needing one person to haul bales from feild to farm....
Be a good idea for a demo definitely, because there are a lot of additional maintenance costs and tasks with one of those self-loading and stacking tools. But they definitely are a useful tool but a demo would definitely help Ryan see if it's worth the costs.
Man I bought a brand new speed rake last year, which is a big purchase for our farm. I couldn't even get a ball cap from our dealer, looks like you got all the kuhn gear! Must be nice! Sweet mower
Another great video!! Keep them coming and it's so nice for Kuhn to let you use there equipment. And I agree you should of given Hanna a piece of cardboard
You have some nice thick grass hope you make out well in the auction. I wish we had auctions in South Texas where we could auction some of our hay production if you wanted to go that wrought. Good luck.
Another well shot 'hay' video...awesome camera angles. I loved the high altitude drone footage. You could just fly the drone for an hour and post that video and I would watch that with some banjo music. it is mesmerizing to see grass on one side and 'hay' on the other. But I like to mow the lawn.
How would a building stand up to the rapper would it be cheaper or more expensive for barn. It is starting to look like you running out of space thanks God was great video music was good
Those knives on the kuhn windrower did not look that bad other than maybe a few chips but yeck if we replaced ours on our windrower every time they got a few chips, we would be changing them every other day. We bought a new self propelled windrower years back and the first set of knives lasted about 250 engine hours before we put new ones on. Didn't even flip them till 150 hours and then we did some custom work and found some rocks that shorted there life spam.
18:08 Dairy Producers have huge caverns where they store tons of cheese because government subsidies make producing milk profitable even though there is no market for all the milk.
Great video Ryan, awesome drone footage down in the valley. The only fault I seen with your video you should have got Hannah a piece of cardboard when she was changing the blades so she wouldn’t have got her jeans so dirty.
Wonder if something like a wrapper actually is better than building a storage shed. Seems to me that you could build a sizable pole barn for the price of a wrapper and have considerably less maintenance/operating costs while maintaining bale quality.
Ain’t afraid to get a little dirty. Dirt don’t hurt! It washes off 😁
Loved the drone shots of the valley. Really shows how close to the river the land is. Travis talks about it but its hard to see. Now please show the hills and slopes he talks about.
Glad to see you continuing your partnership with Kuhn.
Always great to see Hannah ! she's never afraid with getting the job done. Take care of each other.

Getting a Kuhn discbine 2024 mainly thanks to seeing them on your channel… got a 10 wheel rake from Kuhn this year!
Kuhn made quick work of that 6 foot tall hay. Looked really good! Thank you for the video update!

Cool to see that the mower is back😉👍 and even better to see the wrapper sitting in your yard👍😁
Amazing video, this hay season will be awesome👍👍
Was never a big fan of Kuhn. But since you showed them on the channel I like em more and more!
I remember a few times on the farm putting fresh cut hay in the feeding trough for the heifers and they went after it like kids let loose into a candy store with a pocket full of money.

Great job Hannah, Ryan and Travis, great crop of grass, Travis should be happy with that👌👍😎
Cutting hay grounds so satisfying to see. Good stuff stay safe. Wow that was tall grass

THAT'S A FANTASTIC MOWER.

The drone shots are the stuff! Awesome!
I look forward to your videos! Every day.
Looking forward to the summer season. Should also ask Kuhn to try a baler-wrapper combo if you are considering baleage.
Just started watching this channel. Ryan speaks to the camera as well as any TH-camr I've watched. I am going to subscribe!!
Thank you!
awsome video ryan that was for sure tall grass never saw it that high before wow and you cutted it down nicly too great job thumbs up and shared
you have a good woman by your side man... blessings to both you
That is a well thought out way of changing blades. About 20 times easier than our haybine that I remember at least.
Even though it was headed out and above your head. Lol. I'm glad it was safe to make the hay on the bottom bottom.
Love the 🦌 nothing runs like a deer. 🚜

The video I’ve been waiting for
Love hearing the 4640 start up
Just standing cooking the tea/supper and you vid pops up 😁 now iv to try and not burn the tea 🤣 nice seeing the kuhn mowers are still going strong from when I used to demo them over here. Stay safe 🏴
Good to see Hanna need to have her on more.
Ryan Kuhn makes some outstanding equipment don't they
You two are so cute together!
Beautiful video, To cut grass is one of my favorites jobs in farming.
That mower is a beast not even the tractor can outlast the Kuhn 😂
That rain really helped in spring
Wonder Woman don't have nothing on Hanna! Go get it done girl!!!
I like that quick change cutter setup.
you are a good teacher Ryan 😄😄😄
Hi Ryan & Hannah miss seeing you on tv alot and Travis & Brittney.
Love the video on the Kuhn fc 4061 tcd .
Ryan great video ! Silage bales make great feed, We cut the hay field & bale round the ends wet & rap & out of the way.👍
Great video the crop looks awesome that mower is a beast chopping that hay down when kuhn comes back for their bail wrapper just hide it in the woods and act like u don't know anything

Wonderful drone shots!
It was great to see Hannah again! Hope that hay season is going well for you guys!

@@GoldPicard only factors are how many bales to haul and either pulled by a farm tractor or pick up
Cole Sonne got him an Intern too. Signing the final contract in November 2022.

It’s alright she doesn’t mind, she’s not afraid to get dirty!
Great investment. Congratulations
Hanna will only have that intern title for a little bit longer. Then she gets a whole new title & position! Take care & stay safe. Thanks for sharing.
Yes she will! CEO!
Then she will own half after the divorce!
Great looking hay and great to see Hanna lol
LOL! I was just going to remark that it's nice to see that you got your intern back. :)
Ryan you should have at least gave her a piece of cardboard to sit on
word
SNAPPER makes a tough mower that would be nice to see on your channel!
Being able to make baleage is an upgrade that has been a long time coming!
We have one machine that you change the blades like that. Super fast. Like it.
You have some nice thick grass hope you make out well in the auction. I wish we had auctions in South Texas where we could auction some of our hay production if you wanted to go that wrought. Good luck.
love it mate
Can the blades be given a quick edge without taking them off?
A couple years ago the valley had a lot of standing water. How is it this year?
I cut hay here in GA with a John Deere 6420. Sometimes the hay gets above the cab before we can cut it down here.
Nothing like putting her on the spot in front of thousands of people lol…she’s a keeper
Another well shot 'hay' video...awesome camera angles. I loved the high altitude drone footage. You could just fly the drone for an hour and post that video and I would watch that with some banjo music. it is mesmerizing to see grass on one side and 'hay' on the other. But I like to mow the lawn.
Can't believe you took that wheel off.....it was only flat on one side!
Love the video!! What part of Wisconsin do you live in?
Did you buy that Kuhn mower
Whst I was wondering
Was cutting wheat canary that was over 8 feet tall. Stuff is crazy
How would a building stand up to the rapper would it be cheaper or more expensive for barn. It is starting to look like you running out of space thanks God was great video music was good
Hey Ryan question what sort of grass is in that hay you were cutting unless i missed it in the video? To me it looks like Canary Reed Grass?
You should have used Kondex blades. They are the best!!!
Did ya'll actually buy the wrapper or is it like a demo where Kuhn is just letting you use it?
Those knives on the kuhn windrower did not look that bad other than maybe a few chips but yeck if we replaced ours on our windrower every time they got a few chips, we would be changing them every other day. Impressive machine to handle that much material at that speed.
Some beautiful hay, wish I was doing that to
Hi ryan do you think in the coming years with the planter upgrades the 4640 will stay the planter tractor?
I don’t remember seeing a 4640 before. Do you still have the 4020?
did you guys buy this mower then just being happy for any farmer that can upgrade in any way they can in these times we are in
if you put a breaker bar in a hole and on the bottom bar that hold the gearsis how we always done
Can you use the wrapper on corn stalks to help keep them dry as well or is it not worth the inputs to do this as well?
That's a nice machine 👍
smart rap the hay you have so many wet years and crap hay you are on the right way
you can use it for corn to
Me and Michael need all them kuhns
Thank you Ryan - Great Video / Great Channel. Canadian farmers mowing / baling hay in Eastern Canada. Have a great day eh.
Good video boys
Where do you get your background music?
Does your subwoofer have Bluetooth? If so you might want a vet to look at it 😜
Great video Ryan, awesome drone footage down in the valley. The only fault I seen with your video you should have got Hannah a piece of cardboard when she was changing the blades so she wouldn’t have got her jeans so dirty.
Nothing runs like a Deere, however when are you guys going to get a new tractor?
VERY NICE PHOTOGRGHY.
Good helper 👍
Wonder if something like a wrapper actually is better than building a storage shed. Seems to me that you could build a sizable pole barn for the price of a wrapper and have considerably less maintenance/operating costs while maintaining bale quality.
this is crazy
I can’t help but wonder how many fawns you mowed over in that grass? I’ve had close calls in knee high clover at 5 mph.
You need one of those triple mowers. At some can demo one lol
Fortunately,
Hannah is nice.
And patient
And kind
And Pretty.
You should make her more than an occasional side note.
Does the river ice over in the winter?
Any hop ups or mods you can do to that tractor?
Good content. 👍
What is the unit cost per bale for wrapping material?
