When it's 40 degrees here in Australia and your fridge is rammed into a steel ute box working over time to keep your beers cold, a extra cooling fan definitely helps. Speaking from experience! Nice set by the way.
Thanks for the informative review mate. you can purchase single unit in Australia for roughly AU$1100. Am buying 3 of them to install in a new motorhome build. One will be used as a freezer. I will be separating the compressors to install remotely in a side ventilated location. I will employ a fridge technician as it will need to be regassed but it should be worth the trouble. Could yo please provide the measurements for the compressor unit ie width/length/depth. many thanks in advance.
Hey mate, do you know how much height the mounting bracket adds to the fridge? currently doing a van build but won't be receiving the fridge for a couple of weeks. Cheers!
Sorry for the late reply (middle of a house move). The mounting bracket is basically a frame that the fridge sits inside of. It adds no height at all. Hope this helps.
Hi Barry. It is correct that you have to call TBR UK directly and order one. They get them in from a supplier in Switzerland so it might take a couple of weeks.

That's what I'm doing also. Have the bed base in my pajero but the stand up fridge is too high so getting one of these to lower the bed down

how noisy is it? eg: if you had it below a bed in the prado ( assuming your drawers were not there) and a bed over the top.
