"Turn on the Sun" 🤣makes me laugh every time. It's amazing how much work you can get done with the Mini. Another nice benefit I noticed is she can be used as a portable work bench outside, lift up material, process the material and then put right on the trailer afterwards. Huge time saver. Mini is worth it's weight in Gold for shop production. Might be the best $1,500 you ever spent on shop equipment.
Thanks, It has definitely been a good addition to the shop.
Hi Derek, how did you ever survive without a forklift? You use it constantly, that was the best deal of 2024 for you.
Thanks, my back is thanking me. lol
Hi Project Shop FL & it's is Randy and i like yours is Cool & Thanks Project Shop FL & Friends Randy
Thanks Randy!
Cool seeing you drive straight through the whole shop!
It was nice.
Another awesome video Derek. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks for sharing bro.
Thanks!
Time is money! That forklift is paying for itself.
Yes! 👍👍
Found a seat!!!! Perfect.
Actually, I did see a real seat on a palette at the end of the vid. I'd stick with the cushions.
Once I finish fixing the rust I will get a proper seat. I need something low profile
"And the Lord said Let there be light. And there was light. And he saw the light was good! 😂👍
Nice! 🙌
When you turned the big light on you should have had Steve across the street 😂. Look who showed up 👍. And you're right I hate people putting stuff on my car I bought it I'll scratch it.
😂😂😂😂
Got crew doing stuff might have to have a convoy to take stuff in to scrap yard we had a piece of air line with five chucks on it so they could run more than one air tools when get on your channel always interesting stuff going on to watch what I like about you is you divide and conquer you know what needs to be done and figure out a way to do it hell get it cleaned up you won't even know your own shop thanks for posting one i always looking forward to see what you doing thanks for posting my friend
Thanks!
Forklift is awesome brother
Thanks!
great video Derek its starting to look good in the shop just get rid of whats not needed then go from there thanks for sharing with us and the forklife is working out just great too
Thanks!
R E A L L Y ! ! !
Yes R E A L L Y ! ! !
3 things you don't eff with a man's dog, woman or car get'em Derick oh and congratulations on the forklift you have been needing one for a long time
Thanks!
Man dude that light is just insane it’s like at a great big concert, you are a scrap rock star! So that got me thinking…about the shop..so hear me out,you extend that big boom light all the way out(I had forgotten that thing was even yours it sat there so long) and you get a bunch of stadium seats(scrap free of course) and set them up and like 10,000 screaming fans come and watch y’al scrap we each pay like 5dolla😅
😂😂😂 Now I have a working forklift I will be working on that trailer.
Awesome progress Derek. I've actually looked in your area for an electric pallet jack to do a lot of things you're using the forklift for in the shop. I was gonna send you the money if you promised to use it to save your back and start using more pallets. You beat me to the punch with your new toy. I'm still gonna advocate for a more linear system in your processing. Unsorted/intact scrap stays out front, comes into the shop to be processed, and immediately goes out back onto pallets/trailers/bins sorted and processed ready for the yard. Only concern I have with the plan is potential theft out back.
I like the Idea but I don't want scrap out front. Makes the place look crazy and people are always stopping and asking if they can have it.
Great video you got a lot of work to do
Yes, it’s a never-ending process.
That forklift is a game changer. Looks like its paid for itself already. Great Movie Sir
Thanks!
Thanks!
Bonus claw action
👍👍👍
Need a shredder. Those things like brakers it would make quick work of .
Thanks for the suggestion
Start the forklift and then take the hot post off the battery and if is stays running it is charging if it dies you need a new alternator 👍
Thanks for the suggestion
Now you really need to keep the shop cleaned so you can take the forklift through there. That little thing is paying for its upkeep.
It still needs a little work but it is a back saver.
Another reason is the mental sanity. You would have less stress juggling all the scrap if you had more space
😂😂😂😂
Hey, bro. While you were cleaning up, you could've burned the whole barrel of breakers to make room.
😂😂😂
that hose should not really be a steel-reinforced one, but instead a textile-reinforced hose. textile reinforced hose lasts a very long time. the hose constantly moves at a tight angle. and then it is better with a textile-reinforced hose
Thanks for the suggestion
Damn so much easier and faster just don't do like i do clean up the place and when done found room for more stuff looks like did nothing but did have a good one my friend second post
Thanks!
@ProjectShopFl always enjoy watching you doing your thing
We use our forklift to move trailers at work. We have a piece of box tube big enough to fit over the fork with a 1/2" hole thru the box and the fork for a pin and the box tube is just long enough to mount the ball on the end. So all ya have to do is slip the box on, drop the pin in the hole and carry on.
I like the "Pin" idea. Quick mount and Go. Probably would be a good idea to weld a hook somewhere on the mini to hang the ball when not in use so it always stays with the fork lift.
@silverlicious2086 could put the ball on one side and put the hook on the other side. Slip it on to accommodate what your doing.
@@daden61 Lots of possibilities, but the quick mount makes a lot of sense.
That is a great idea. 👍
And that maroon car
👍👍👍
We had a slip on piece that clamped onto the fork with the ball in it at the shop I used to work in. They didn't want to cut into the fork so we made one.
I thought about that but I don't ever want something slipping off especially when I use a chain or strap.
@ProjectShopFl good point!
Cold in South Florida? What is it? 65 degrees? 😂
If it gets below 70 it's freezing. lol
Will be back
👍👍
Put a Red warning sign: "Snakes on Board" in the window of your vehicle. That will stop people from getting to close to your car. 😂
😂😂😂
Imagine how much space you would have if you actually got rid of some crap rather than just move it from one end of the shop to the other lol
Probably a lot. lol
Will there be a light on the little forklift?
Yes 👍
hi you should get new posts for the forklift its what protects you frpm falling stuff that you seem to have a lot off
Thanks I will be fixing the ones I have.
first lol
👍👍👍
I got anxiety when you show all the stuff inside and out that needs to be processed and scrapped but then you said your going to pick up a bunch of stuff tomorrow lol
😂😂😂
The guy that paid you the deposit for the furnace. 30 days he's forfeited his money, making no contact. All you'll need is the messages you've sent trying to reach him.. He dropped the ball. All bs aside i hope he's ok though. Fork truck is looking good! Getting a lot of stuff moved !
Thanks
Old diesel fuel is good for trailer boards (the floor),keeps the wood from rotting
Thanks for the suggestion
You're probably going to need a new igniter if you add lights. Your igniter is barely working. Simple device, 4 diodes. However, I'd add the lights(led) and see what happens. Spend your money on other things first.
Thanks for the suggestion
You need to reconsider the space in the back. You need to get rid of that truck and other forklift. The space they are taking up is more valuable than they are.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Here's my reasoning and you should get rid of that gray dually too. If you are making scrapping decisions based on lack of space and potentially losing out on profits because of it then those trucks would actually cost you money because of it
Thanks for the suggestion
@13:22 Interesting choice to swap your motor out for a swarm of bees.
😂😂😂😂
These videos are like a soap opera for guys.
😂😂😂
Now that you have a forklift to easily move things around why are you utilizing your other bays moving machines and equipment around to give yourself more space for storage and maneuvering your forklift around but optimizing your processes as well
Ok.
Scrap the generator. Think about why you have it.
👍👍👍
should have boutht 3"/4 shank ball
It was what I had in the shop
I hate it when people lean on my stuff.
The lack of respect for other people's stuff is what gets me.
You just don't lean on or put stuff on someone's car.
I agree. I have a nice F150 and when ever I go to the store I always park my truck farther out from the front doors. Stops the idiots from touching my truck and the door bangers. Also gives me a little exercise walking to the front door 😂 Win/Win
Some people have no respect.
Dude you’re such a pack rat. I could only imagine what the place would look like if you had been able to buy that place by the local scrap yard, that was up for sale from the guy who sold you your original trailer. 😊
Thanks! lol
Quit playing with that damn fork lift and get to work
Ok 👍 lol
Too much space occupied by broken cars. Maybe you could replace them somewhere else away from your shop.
That will cost more money I don't have.
IF U WORKED AS MUCH AS U TALK U WOULD GET SHIT DONE
THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION. 👍
