Another great painting Voka. So funny I showed this artist/gallerist your video to work from (showing how well an audience reacts to video). A few weeks later I was fired! LOL. Oh well. Can't wait for the next one.

I love your work!!

The artwork and its merit should NEVER involve an intellectualism to the detriment of those who like artwork without all the theatrics! An artwork MUST be able to stand by its own HEARTBEAT because words tell only so much but a painting gives millions and millions of UNDERSTANDING. OMAIN:NIAMO The wording cut around intellectual ‘great’ current ‘philosophy’ mislead many for they are the supporting evidence ONLY. OMAIN:NIAMO

Listen to that jealous critic say "so called spontaneous realism." It is people like him that keep Voka's art out of museums. The people decide what is art, not critics. I think we must get rid of so called "art critics" because the public are capable of recognizing the value of art. That is all that matters. A tiny dot of red on a giant canvas is ridiculous. These so called "art critics" try to convince us that it has some sort of meaning and value. It does not. They actually seem insane.

Artists who spend a couple of years in art school then come out thinking their ugly paintings are more valuable because they attended university are just sad. If anything, a degree in art confines and limits natural talent. All artists use aids. What matters is how much a painting is loved, appreciated, and remains hung in a prominent place in the home. Old art is not beautiful. It is too small, contains drab colors, can be depressing, etc... . Voka's art is full of talent, beauty, colorful, provokes happy memories and brings a smile to everyone except "educated" artists who think a couple of years in school gives them a hate card to call Voka's art "decorative." A fine art education may be helpful to an artist but in no way compares to a lifetime of self teaching which is what a fine art graduate must also do. Learning never ends in any profession. Voka is a great artist. If you were smart, you would invest in his art. Enjoy his art for the rest of your life. That is the real value of art.

The issue is: snotty nose industry intellectuals want a basis of your education to track your style influences to criticise, discuss, debate, theorise and when it’s all said and done, it keeps them in jobs while the artist keeps painting. OMAIN:NIAMO

@@janinewilkinson4894 exactly! And those critics couldn't paint anything decent to save their lives. All they do is as you say: criticize, discuss, debate, theorize. It's all about intellectualizing, not about the true essence of art. They've removed themselves from experiencing it.
