    Got this model last week and I use it every day. The first meal I made was chopped up chorizo sausages with chopped bell peppers, and baby potatoes that I cut in half. I used a little avocado oil and seasoning on the bell peppers and potatoes, no oil was needed on the chorizo sausages. I also use parchment paper for easier cleanup.

    Just purchased from Amazon and waiting for it to arrive. Read a lot of reviews about nearly every air fryer made and decided this Cosori is best for my wife and I. More info to follow.

    I like that I can "fry" something on a whim! An oil fryer takes so much more time to clean and prepare th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB a chore which usually kept me from frying all together. Also, the lack of needing oil to fry means that my family and I are eating healthier... while still enjoying the crispiness of fried foods.

    Wow, great presentation....very thorough. I wish more reviews were this detailed ... even to the point of sharing notes of interest in the User Manual & Cookbook. 👍👍👍

    I got one for Christmas this year and just used it for the first time! I made a couple chicken patties and some fries in it. I love it so far - much better than the PowerXL air fryer my ex had

    Heyyy Doug, Nice review and demo. I like that or doesn’t have the extra basket and there are no vents on the sides for grease to get trapped. Those brats looked delicious and the pico de gallo was a nice touch. Thanks for sharing 🥰

    Hi Doug, I just found your channel, newly subscribed and I love your friendly and informative videos. I especially love that you show the product as well as share some recipes and then clean up. Extremely helpful to me as I live full time in my van conversion as I travel where clean up must b fast and easy. I utilize my solar mostly in my van but I do have shore power hookup when I stay where there’s electrical hook up. So, thanks again for a great content.

    Hey Doug - Short people test….. Do you think I will be able to see the buttons with the key pad on top instead of front? (Standard counter, 5’2” person) Basket vs heating plate for Cosori? Also thoughts on the 1500 vs 1700? I really like the 450 for steaks but maybe I don’t need that if I get the corsori pro using1700 watts Obviously not a cook or an electrician 🙃

    Quick question. Those sausages are packed with fat. Why do you need to spray them with oil? Wouldn’t the fat from the sausages cook everything?

    Im waiting to hear from cosori to see if it can be used in Australia, as the power socket is diff than us/UK.
    We use 220v, just a diff socket type so should be ok. If the power cord can't be detached like a kettle cord, im guessing I need to use a travel power adapter.

  • @gail4101
    @gail4101 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks, Doug! Not only have you made me hungry🙄 but, more importantly, you have helped with my decision on what size of an Air Fryer to get…I know I want the Cosori but have been debating which size to get…this one does have a smaller footprint for those of us that have less countertop sizes but (again the but!) I believe I prefer the 5.8 size merely for the basket with it’s “shake” ease plus the quantity of food air fried…Leftovers!!

    I just bought this same model, haven't used it yet. My first air fryer. But am I missing something here, cause I watch videos like this and to me this is simply a redesigned convection toaster oven. Not trying to take anything away from the machine, since it looks more convenient with the removable bin, but it really just seems like a new take of an old design.

    • @COOKINGWITHDOUG
      @COOKINGWITHDOUG  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't why you people just don't get a convection oven then ??? Your not the only person who thought this by now lol we been air frying since 2015....BOTTOM LINE it doesn't even come close

    • @kctyphoon
      @kctyphoon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@COOKINGWITHDOUG I think u missed the point guy. And i quote - “If you're thinking about buying an air fryer, you might be wondering what the difference is between air fryers and convection ovens. The quick answer is, an air fryer is a simply a smaller convection oven with a catchy name.” Yes, the machine is smaller and may have a more powerful fan making them more efficient - but the fact is air does not “fry” food. People have been cooking with hot air since we were cavemen. I used the one i bought for the first time, and while its quick and impressive, theres no magic happening inside and the food is not being fried. The marketing department just came up with a catchy name for a redesigned appliance. Thats the only point i was trying to make.

    Thankyou for showing this air fryer i did get a instant vortex but didn't like it so got this instead because of how the open close is for the basket and i think its better then the instant vortex so 👍 for showing it and i think the display on the top is better in my opinion

    Are you aware that in the USA over 2 million Cosori AF have been recalled due to a number of faults that can cause fires? I have the same batch number and Cosori have not notified UK customers of the fault plus Amazon UK appears to have no idea about the recall or ensuring its customers are not put at risk by replacing the item with a safe model!!
