After all that has happened. We did not see Sasha or Marcy's parents. I honestly thought in light of all that has happened, Marcy's dad would've actually been like "You know what Marcy? Perhaps maybe we don't have to go." That would've been heartfelt, but either way Marcy could've assured him she is ready to move on, thus leading to this either way.

I was wondering why Amphibia's third season had two less episodes than the earlier two seasons. If it is not for the coronavirus slowing production or deleting a few touchy scripts, I immediately caught on to the possibility that Matt Braly may be saving Amphibia's REAL last two episodes for 3 to 4 years later, when Disney Channel's executives and Amphibia's audience are hungry for nostalgia. THAT would be the perfect time for him and me to strike down with (a) a 59th episode about Sasha's and Marcy's sides of the story with their families before and after they went to Amphibia, as well as Marcy adjusting to her new life with her parents' new job, and (b) Sprig and Ivy with their families exploring the rest of the world outside of Amphibia while Anne, Sasha, Dr. Jan and Terri visit Marcy in her new home and have a third musical showdown following Fiddle Me This and Battle of the Bands which will lead to them having a happy reunion with the Plantars and Sundews. I remember watching marcy's fantasy outfit in the core and inmedately going " this girl's gonna have the longest hair, that hair shows she wants it long"
Okay, at first I was upset that they hadn't seen each other in 10 years, but it's clear they still kept in touch. I have friends who moved that I still haven't seen in person in years, and sometimes friends fall out of talking on a regular basis. But I'm glad they found their way back to each other eventually. Good message about letting people grow.
Yeah, I haven't talked to by best friend for like 5 years (we were teens) and we just reconnected to each other again this year and it has been a blast.
Matt (creator of the show) said that Marcy was visiting them. (Idk how often tho) When Marcy said "Can you believe it's been ten years?" She meant it was ten years since they left amphibia.
We all need a therapist like sahsa in our lives (Edit ive never got this much likes every before and after hours of crying guess we're going back to it) thank you smmmm :))
I know the ending was significant because of the message it carried, but I'm just too sad to let this go like that. Did we all forget that at one point, they managed to open a giant mantis's arm sized portal at one point using nothing but earth technology? If Amphibia ever comes back in any capacity (special one shot, spinoff with Sprig/Ivy, etc), I would love to have Anne, Sasha, and Marcy at least send a postcard. :)
This made me ball, Never cry usually at finales but this one just completely melted me down and broke me. I'm going to miss this show so much it helped me threw so much in my life and now that it's over it's going to be hard. But there's a time where we need to move on and accept the fact what we lose will always be there, thank you Matt for creating such a wonderful show. and to the people who helped support this show. Goodbye Amphibia.
I will never forget them... Wtf is wrong with me, feel like many people just died, but the memories will always be there farewell amphibia it was nice to watch every character grow and learn until the end... I'm not crying these are just eye sweats, it's normal for a person to sweat an eye just because of a cartoon series ending
Sasha has a bi flag heart sticker- hOLY HELL she’s got a bi flag heart sticker!! And cute little references to past episodes like her guitar as a sticker, and her swords as a keychain- I love all of this Edit: I love the mixed bag of replies I’m getting for this-
@@thefanwithoutaface8105 It's more of a big deal, at least to me, because of how homophobic Disney is. Like their still homophobic as hell but things are changing and even small rep matters.
This show has been a joy. It feels like Gravity Falls all over again. A shame it's over, but hey better to leave on a good note then to keep milking the show for money. I'm gonna miss this show like Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, you all know what I'm talking about. If anyone's interested, I'm working on a little fanfic about Amphibia. Don't know if I'll put it online but comment on this if you wanna know more.
i'm sorta interested. also, weird coincidence, the fact marcy made a web-comic inspired be to make my own fan-comic, so i guess you're not the only die-hard fan who wants to make a fan-fic (but, y'know, not weird and sonamy styled).
I am so happy that the show took their lives after amphibia so realistically. Like, they didn't exactly stayed together at the end, they grew apart and kept growing into their own persons even without each other. That's just life, but that doesn't erase the memories and the bond they share and eventually they found their ways back to each other and I think that's beautiful. Like, if we all compare their friendship to the friend trios we've had in middle school, tell me it isn't totally realistic that they had to grow apart a bit to come back to each other stronger...or maybe that's just me, idk, that particular part of the ending just hit way too close to home for me 😭
“Don’t be sad because it’s over, be happy because it happened” It was a pleasure to experience this journey with y’all people… that’s all folks 🐸❤️ :”)
I was crying happy tears at the end of the episode. I’ll always remember this amazing journey and this quote and I hope that it will make me and everyone else feel better and not sad that this show has ended tonight; man that feels weird to say: “Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.” - Dr. Seuss. Also we still have Marcy’s Journal as well; which comes out sometime after the show ended.
I just want to say that this one best finales I have ever watched that are perfect like WeirdMaggedon or Sozin’s Comet. So, I want to thank all of the actors, producers, animators, and Matt Braly for giving us this show that made us cry, laugh, and excited. I bet that even 5 years later myself and others will still watch Amphibia.
It was very emotional to see the reunion of Sasha and Marcy, as well as Anne, as the 3 ended up meeting again after 10 years. I really feel very sad about the end of this great animated series. Thanks for everything Amphibia, I will never forget you and the fandom as well, take care of yourselves, it has been an honor to belong to this fandom.
I rewatched this recently but it made me realize that the epilogues for amphibia and earth happened at different times. I know it’s obvious in hindsight but still kind of cool. Even in different times, worlds, situations. They still think and care about each other
Welp now’s a good time to hear this quote “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened” - Dr. Seuss This show has been a important aspect in a lot of peoples live, including myself, going to TH-cam to watch the episodes or waiting for them on Disney plus. But even though this show is done airing new episodes it doesn’t mean you can’t go back to watch it. I will surely miss watching this every Saturday.
To bad we didn't see their parents and their reaction to seeing THEIR OWN DAUGHTER come back after 6 months in fact the only reason that Marcy stole the calamity box was because her parents wanted to move was an episode or scene cut or something cause otherwise I don't know why we didn't see Sasha's & Marcy's parents especially in the finale where they finally came back to earth
Personally, I feel like that will just distract and not add much to the main story and message. Their families were not important throughout the series, only Anne's as it part of not just Anne's but the Plantar's archign story. So for me, it is better to focus on the families they've made and who we actually spent time with, Grime, Olivia, Yunan, Andrias, Plantar family, village folks, etc.
They had to make the finale 30 minutes and leave us with unanswered questions about what happend to The Boonchuy's, the humans who helped Anne, Mr. X, Principal Murphy and Maggie not mentioned again and making us live with this.
the first time i really started to watch this show i was sick, and instead of turning it i left it on. it was '21 or '22, whenever they showed marcy for the first time, and i binged it just in time for the last season
It didn't feel like 3 years. So many memories. I remember when it first came out and me and my sister just thought it would be a other cringe kid cartoon. Turns out to be an amazing show. I'll miss it.
As a 22 year old who keeps in touch as much as I can with my middle school besties this hit different. I wish I had this when I was in middle school, that I knew it was okay to drift apart and that if we were okay, we could still be just as close and not need to be together ALL the time. Im so glad kids, teens and us 20 year olds and the like have this now though, bet te r late then never 🥲💖
The whole show brought so much joy in many people lives. It's one of the best series in the history of animation, and it will always be in our hearts, where it belongs forever.
I’m just so glad they all still kept in touch despite not hanging out that much anymore. It’s so sweet to see how far our girls come and I’m glad they all gotten a chance to have a fun reunion again(on Anne’s birthday btw ^w^).
Dear Amphibia, You've made us laugh, cry, and scream You've shown us how to forgive yourself and not let past mistakes define us in Sasha, how to accept and adapt to change healthy in Marcy, how to forgive others, that no matter what the influence of others will always stick with you in the long run and family is the people you choose in Anne. Thank you Amphibia for everything, Matt and the crew for creating a unforgettable show and to the fans I am proud to have been on this journey with you all and can't wait to see All of your creations in the future. Sincerely, the life you have changed.
i LOVE how natural everything feels here. from their appearances, to their personalities- they feel so. real! when i look at anne, sasha and marcy as adults, i see a bit of myself, and that feels really cool. not to mention how the crew decided to not have sasha n anne be 'together forever' after the main events of the story. i know myself that good friendships can dissipate over time, but that doesnt mean you love them any less. i love how thats normalised here too! as a natural part of growing up.
I have to say as someone who still has close connections with friends I grew up with, but we don't rabbidly communicate every day, and live in different places; but once we're together our friendship always blooms like we never left the room. I think this was a great scene to show case the girls growth and character development. They each learned they can still be friends but not always have to be in each others immediate lives every day.
I really wonder if they didnt talk for 10 years or they just hadnt met up or that it had been 10 years since everything happened. It seems unlikely to me that marcy left and they didnt even talk to her this entire time, even in the beginning of their separation. Plus I really wish we got to see the wu and waybright parents
It lasted 3 years in reality, It's been 10 years for them, And Felt Like A Hundred For Us. Thank You Amphibia, I Loved You, But It's Time, Because The Hardest Thing Is Letting Someone Go. R.I.P AMPHIBIA (2019-2022)
Hearing Marcy making a webcomic and the way they interact is so realistic I love it- It saddens me they didn’t hang out too much, but it’s nice to have a reunion and focus on life, pretty good stuff
I like to think that despite how the dialogue sounds they actually have kept in close touch all these years not to an intimate degree but a very close one.
I can’t believe that amphibia ended. Amphibia inspired my whole life. When I watched this episode I was full of tears and I couldn’t nonstop. It’s also cool that Sasha is actually bisexual since I also relate to her. I’m never gonna forget about this masterpiece and how this show impacted my childhood (I think my childhood ended but anyway I’m 12.) Thank you, Matt for creating Amphibia. And perhaps maybe one day I will created my own tv series in the future.
Amphibia has changed me in so many ways. It's helped me learn and grow as a person, and I couldn't love a show more than I love this. Thank you Amphibia.
There can be no words to describe how phenomenal this show was. I'm sad that it's over, but I'm more than grateful for the journey that matt and co. took me on. I thank the cast and crew of Amphibia. Truly a remarkable feat they've accomplished. (2019-2022)
I really liked that the show portrayed a realistic version of the characters being older, like its not some happily ever after, marcy still moved and sasha and ann dont talk as much as they did before, its realistic and thats pretty neat
I can't believe it was 3 years ago and Amphibia just ended. It was just like Gravity Falls and it was an emotional rollercoaster. Thanks for everything Amphibia.
The last episodes of a good show are always the most emotional. Whenever a show I love comes to an end I genuinely feel a little empty inside. Like I'm saying goodbye to a good friend. Amphibia is such a well written and fun show I just didn't want it to end.
Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I like the symbolism of the girls’s new looks, especially the hair! Marcy’s grown hers out, showing she’s finally come into her own and “grown” into her own person instead of relying on Sasha, Anne, or her escapism tendencies to stay afloat. Also, her outfit is adorable and I’m happy she can finally express herself in her looks without being self-conscious! Sashas cut her hair, which might symbolize that she’s cut the bad parts of herself out and is still learning to become her own person without the anger and need for control. Also her sword patches and keychain are so cute, and I’m glad she still has those things to remember her time in Amphibia! It’s hard to pinpoint Anne cause of her work uniform, but she didn’t cut or grow out her hair much, maybe because a part of her will never truly move away from Amphibia. And maybe she has the ponytail in because she’s finally doing something with her life she enjoys… or she’s learned to keep it out of her face so leaves don’t get in it. Or it’s just aesthetic and I’m crazy. Either way they all look so good!
Altough I’m glad I didn’t get emotionally attached to this show, like I do to other cartoons, it was awesome, I liked it a lot. And when Sasha said that she and Anne weren’t besties anymore in high school, it was a very realistic touch. The same thing happened to me and my best friend. We don’t talk as much but we’re still friends, we just don’t hang out as much as we did in the past.
This show has been absolutely amazing and it's sad to see it's ending now, but I'm glad it had a proper goodbye. I remember when I was watching the episodes in clips on TH-cam when it first aired. I just saw it as another kids show but I still wanted to watch it to see where it went, and I don't regret it one bit! Thank you Matt Braly for creating such an amazing show, and I can't wait to see what you make in the future.
To the Amphibia fandom, It's been one of the best ride of my life watching this amazing, great, heartbreaking, funny frog show with you. I've loved every bit of it, and always will cherish all the memories. All the fan content, and the show itself means so much to me. So thank you for everything 💙❤️💚🐸
You know, i wrote a sequel of amphibia as a tv series sequel. I called it - 'Amphibia The New Frontier'. The general plot is about the adventures of Sprig and Polly in a new united Amphibia with frogs, toads, newts, olms and other amphibians species living together in harmony. With 3 seasons with stand-alone stories (like Legend of Korra, each season have a plot and a main villain) but at the end there is a overaching plot and antagonist. Anne, Sasha and Marcy don't appear but they are mentioned through the course of the series. Hop Pop, Grime, Lady Olivia, General Yunnan appear too like characters for the plot o background. Season 1 - pick up 9 months after the battle against the Core. Sprig and Ivy go to the new discovered continent and meet an ancient race of aquabeast led by Poseidonus, their ruler. With the gems gone, Poseidonus thinks its the perfect opportunity to reclaim the land of amphibia which was stolen by the first newt ruler and the original creator of the core. Background plot: there is a connection between Poseidonus and Ivy's family Season 2 - Sprig and Polly discover amphibians are being replace by robot version of themselves by the Cloak Bot, who they thought was destroyed by Anne back on Earth. He is back and with self awareness, he wants to turn Amphibia is his new Metal World. Background plot: Sprig tries to move on with the fact Anne is gone and a journey through time travel where Sprig, Polly Hop Pop, Grime, Olivia and Yunnan accidentally travel through time to Earth, the exact day where Anne and Marcy met Sasha when they were little kids. Season 3 - 10 years later, coinciding with the girl’s epilogue, Amphibia has become peaceful and advanced. Sprig and ivy are married and have 3 kids: Anne Plantar, Leif Plantar and Humphrey Plantar; Olivia and Yunnan adopted a newt girl and named her Marcy and Percy and Braddock have a toad daughter named Sasha. The three (Anne, Sasha and Marcy) are the main protagonists of this season and they fear that they cant live up the Calamity Trio legacy or live in their shadows. After 10 years of peace, a new threat arrives in the form of 3 hooded figures who are a threat to the multiverse. Overaching plot: coup the farewell of Anne Sasha and Marcy and the mysterious hooded figures have observed Amphibia since the girl’s first arrival years ago. So...what do you think?

I remember watching marcy's fantasy outfit in the core and inmedately going " this girl's gonna have the longest hair, that hair shows she wants it long"
10 years and Marcy is as clumsy as every. The fact that she still does the iconic "I'm okay" made me smile through my tears
Grown up Sasha reminds me of Eda. She has her funny laid back personality. And the way she talked about the kids reminds me of how Eda talks about Luz
Yeah, I agree!
@@keithredacted8154 That's awesome! Glad to hear it.
Matt (creator of the show) said that Marcy was visiting them. (Idk how often tho) When Marcy said
"Can you believe it's been ten years?" She meant it was ten years since they left amphibia.
Love the ending, but I still can't believe that the original Anne is dead. It makes this feel very bittersweet in the end
Yeah that's pretty insane to think about. At least they worked in an existential crisis joke XD
Yeah It kinda creep me out the fact that Anne didnt mention that to anyone, only she knows
And that she'll probably eventually be the Steward of the Multiverse

Fun fact: I just learned that in this scene where sasha and marcy reunited at the airport, there was reason to believe that sasha was BI.

How?
YOOOO NO WAY!
I will never forget them... Wtf is wrong with me, feel like many people just died, but the memories will always be there farewell amphibia it was nice to watch every character grow and learn until the end... I'm not crying these are just eye sweats, it's normal for a person to sweat an eye just because of a cartoon series ending
i love how Sasha read a few chapters from marcy its shows that she did take interest in marcy’s interests.
Sasha has a bi flag heart sticker- hOLY HELL she’s got a bi flag heart sticker!! And cute little references to past episodes like her guitar as a sticker, and her swords as a keychain- I love all of this
Edit: I love the mixed bag of replies I’m getting for this-

I don't really see why exactly that's a big deal. You do realize you can just read fanfiction or write fanfiction where she's bi.

Seeing these characters that we’ve spent years getting to know all grown up it brings a tear to my eye. I’m gonna miss you so much Amphibia 🥹
I kinda do what is it about
Here as well
I would like to read it
yea same id love to know more
i'm sorta interested. also, weird coincidence, the fact marcy made a web-comic inspired be to make my own fan-comic, so i guess you're not the only die-hard fan who wants to make a fan-fic (but, y'know, not weird and sonamy styled).
Like, if we all compare their friendship to the friend trios we've had in middle school, tell me it isn't totally realistic that they had to grow apart a bit to come back to each other stronger...or maybe that's just me, idk, that particular part of the ending just hit way too close to home for me 😭
“Don’t be sad because it’s over, be happy because it happened”
It was a pleasure to experience this journey with y’all people… that’s all folks 🐸❤️ :”)
I forgot who's quote that is but you're right. This show is definitely in my top five.
I was crying happy tears at the end of the episode. I’ll always remember this amazing journey and this quote and I hope that it will make me and everyone else feel better and not sad that this show has ended tonight; man that feels weird to say: “Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.” - Dr. Seuss. Also we still have Marcy’s Journal as well; which comes out sometime after the show ended.
wait what?! i don't know anything about that Marcy's journal thing
They still think and care about each other
Welp now’s a good time to hear this quote
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened” - Dr. Seuss
This show has been a important aspect in a lot of peoples live, including myself, going to TH-cam to watch the episodes or waiting for them on Disney plus.
They could make enough time for it
They had to make the finale 30 minutes and leave us with unanswered questions about what happend to The Boonchuy's, the humans who helped Anne, Mr. X, Principal Murphy and Maggie not mentioned again and making us live with this.
They don’t appear in this episode
They probably died except for Terri and mr X

As a 22 year old who keeps in touch as much as I can with my middle school besties this hit different.

Dear Amphibia,
You've made us laugh, cry, and scream
You've shown us how to forgive yourself and not let past mistakes define us in Sasha, how to accept and adapt to change healthy in Marcy, how to forgive others, that no matter what the influence of others will always stick with you in the long run and family is the people you choose in Anne. Thank you Amphibia for everything, Matt and the crew for creating a unforgettable show and to the fans I am proud to have been on this journey with you all and can't wait to see All of your creations in the future.
Sincerely, the life you have changed.

the epilogue is so heartbreaking
I love how Marcy still manages to be the clumsiest person on earth after 10 whole years
i LOVE how natural everything feels here. from their appearances, to their personalities- they feel so. real! when i look at anne, sasha and marcy as adults, i see a bit of myself, and that feels really cool. not to mention how the crew decided to not have sasha n anne be 'together forever' after the main events of the story. i know myself that good friendships can dissipate over time, but that doesnt mean you love them any less. i love how thats normalised here too! as a natural part of growing up.
After this airing, I don't think I'll ever be whole again. A piece of me left after Amphibia left.

I have to say as someone who still has close connections with friends I grew up with, but we don't rabbidly communicate every day, and live in different places; but once we're together our friendship always blooms like we never left the room. I can’t believe that amphibia ended. Amphibia inspired my whole life. When I watched this episode I was full of tears and I couldn’t nonstop. It’s also cool that Sasha is actually bisexual since I also relate to her. I’m never gonna forget about this masterpiece and how this show impacted my childhood (I think my childhood ended but anyway I’m 12.)
Thank you, Matt for creating Amphibia.

(2019-2022)
im not even caught up but the idea that they have not seen each other in person in 10 years is CRUSHING
Gravity Falls didn't give us a time skip with Dipper and Mabel. Amphibia did.
I don’t believe it…they actually never see their friends in amphibia again…suddenly I’m more concerned with how the owl house might end…
So what if The Owl House will have a bittersweet ending like this one? For the record, Dana Terrace doesn't like happy ever after.
A whole decade, and they still remained friends
Either way they all look so good!
the “im okay” was so cutee
I can't tell you how happy I am to hear the all are doing somewhat normal occupations
I feel seen when this happens
I'm so glad that I was able to experience this show. It had a fitting end, and like Anne, I'll never forget the Amphibia residents. Never.
This had me crying, I am so glad that we were all able to go along the girl's journey with them. It was a fun ride!
Seeing the characters change after 10 years felt really intense. And it feels sad to watch the series end
To the Amphibia fandom,
It's been one of the best ride of my life watching this amazing, great, heartbreaking, funny frog show with you. I've loved every bit of it, and always will cherish all the memories. All the fan content, and the show itself means so much to me.
So thank you for everything 💙❤️💚🐸
THE BISEXUAL STICKER 😍😍
One of the greatest series finales in cartoon history.
Background plot: there is a connection between Poseidonus and Ivy's family
Season 2 - Sprig and Polly discover amphibians are being replace by robot version of themselves by the Cloak Bot, who they thought was destroyed by Anne back on Earth.
