Had mine from day one of sales and seem to be flying this little fella more than my other larger dji drones. Its such a great fun drone. Don't think i would be as brave as you on a day like that though😅 Nice vid mate!👌👍
Incrível! 👏👏E eu, aqui no Brasil com medo de voar com ventos de 30 km/h! 😅😅 Amazing!!! And me, here in Brazil, afraid of flying in 30 km/h winds! Thanks a lott! Nice shots! Congrats! 👏👏
It's the wind gusts that are the problem, I intentionally flew my Neo in 45kph wind gusts, and one flips the drone. It was only at a height of about a metre and on grass, so there was no risk to the drone, but over a cliff huge risk!
Good stuff. I recently got a Neo as a cheap option to inspect some roof damage post storm Darragh, not really considered it for ‘serious’ photography. Food for thought. Cheers and have a good Christmas 👍🏻
It's pretty bad in low light, and the single-axis gimbal means it has to do a lot of digital stabilisation (which eats into the resolution and doesn't play well with motion blur), but if there's plenty of light and not much wind (meaning minimal image stabilisation required), it's fine.
@@medwynroberts - Also, remember to set all camera parameters to manual if you're filming anything important, otherwise it'll keep adjusting them while recording, and you'll get a lot of colour / brightness / contrast fluctuations which will be almost impossible to fix in post.
I do have a wind meter, but I left it at home, because when I left there was no wind, will keep it on me next time. I think around 10-15mph with 20mph+ gust's the bag is a Lowepro Hatchback 16L Seems to be hard to get nowadays, closest thing Ive found to it is this s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_onoEC0r
Hey WIll, great video... I'm local to Beachy Head (Hailsham) new to drone flying too and recently bought the Neo Combo plus the N3 goggles and RC Motion FPV controller, I was looking up flying at Beachy Head but with the Drone Assist app, this area flagged up as a "SSSI" is that anything to worry about? I know the little Neo is sub 250g so the rules are laxed. Anyway mate, awesome video, kudos to the risk and the wind! Subbed! 👍

gorgeous lighthouse and cliff
It is stunning
Cool !!!
been wanting to do this for ages! never got round to it though, footage looks really nice
It would be great with your FPV, just don't crash because you wont get it back :)
Be careful with such a small quadcopter in strong wind; make sure it is able to return into that wind, otherwise you're gonna loose it.
I did a few test runs before sending it over, that last bit though it was struggling.

It's good enough for most things :)

Puts the drone up at 2:35
Any idea how strong the wind actually was? Also what bag are you using, looks useful with that rear drone section 👍

If you fly the neo in too strong a wind, it can be simply flipped over and then stops its rotors, crashes to the ground, happens to me all the time.
yeah was a worry, I tried my best to be careful
bonjour , bien risqué , bonne maitrise , je m'abonne pour voir la suite , merci
Som Drone muy
Your gonna loose it gezer
One day
Do not fly DJI neo under heavy wind. I tried but it will be danger
