@@FamilyTalkandTaste glad to share. 1pound bacon, cut into 1/2pcs fry crisp, drain. 1T bacon fat, 2 large red or sweet onions sliced, fry til caramelized. Add 1/2c dark brown sugar, 1/2c bourbon, 2T apple cider vinegar, 1/4c water. Over med low heat reduce till dark,thick and jammy
Can you clarify, you said 3 1/4 cups brown sugar and you have 3/4 cup in recipe. The butter looks like 1 pound and not one stick, and is it salted or unsalted, did you add that whole package of butter because that would be a pound of butter not a stick.
