Every morning after I've fed the animals and made my coffee, I turn on my computer to read my mail. I scan down the list, deleting those I won't read and starring the ones I want to save for later. If I'm lucky, there will be one notifying me of a new video from Mark. I open it immediately and watch. Why? I am in my late 70's, have major health issues and he is an inspiration. His honesty, integrity and strength are simply amazing. I am a cancer survivor and understand the decision he has made. I have come to love Mark and his family and have been praying for them since his diagnosis.

I do this ALL the time for small channels & even bigger ones that I really love. Why not? Sometimes I'll play vids on my cell while I'm watching TH-cam & turn on something for my 4yr old on the smart tv. Someone is making money by us doing NOTHING! I'm so glad to see others doing this! Another thing I do: If I'm looking to buy something new online, say a Purple Mattress... I'll go to their website, then close that tab. Go back to youtube & click on whatever channel's video I want to help. Sure enough, the very next ad is Purple Mattress, so I click on the ad & make my purchase that way. I like every single video I come across & subscribe to any channel that's not completely against my morals, bc again, WHY NOT? I ran a blog for 4+ years & It amazed me how stingy people are, as if they're going to lose money, or street cred or something if they like, comment, subscribe, share, etc. ALL these things cost you nothing, maybe a millisecond of your day yet it can literally help families pay their bills. Why. The. F. Not?!

I'm a woman and I don't know much about any of the stuff you work on..but just listening...I know how much you really know about all of it. You are so likable and brave. You do all that even though I know you have pain even if you have meds on board, I don't think it covers all the pain. Unrelated to cancer, I suffer from chronic pain, from different sources so I know what pain is. I'm a retired RN. I admire you you so much. My prayers go to you. No pity here just admiration. Right! He's done with putting all of his loved ones through the painful cycles of doom followed by tiny glimpses of hope. He said it himself. That's why he stopped treatment. He needed to instead focus on his family and doing everything he could to make the most of the time he has left spending it with them. This is exactly what Mark's spirit and heart are all about.

Folks, Tina was sleeping on her Living room futon for a long time because she could not afford a bed yet. They GIFTED this bed to her. Not just the headboard Mark made, but the whole bed mattress setup to even include dust ruffle, quilt and pillow sham. That is what Christ-like lives look like. Mark, a multitude and their churches are praying for you, me and mine included. ~ Tina's Mom and Poppa love y'all.

@@calebdrake3544 Yes. Mark's been battling cancer for some time. It's rare, very aggressive, and has metastasized to his brain and chest. He decided a little while ago to stop the treatments and just have palliative care. He was in incredible pain, sick all the time, and not able to enjoy anything. Since then, he's been able to get up and enjoy time with his family and his projects. His motto is: Party 'til we can't.
My husband had ALS/Lou Gehrig's and his brother had stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. They chose quality over quantity. We lived their lives to the fullest of their abilities. Our daughter battled breast cancer and our daughter-in-law battled thyroid cancer the same year my husband had ALS. The ladies are still going strong! Be as comfortable as you can be. I keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. {*hugs*}

I spent 29 years in nursing at UCLA medical center. I’ve seen it all. For me, the most important take away is that handling whatever situation life throws our way... is thee most important aspect. How we behave and react is so important. Making the most of each day should be done by everyone, every day!! But being given a dire diagnosis and still maintaining and enjoying loved ones as well as Mother Nature around us is thee best way we can live, and I applaud you, young man!!! Right! He's done with putting all of his loved ones through the painful cycles of doom followed by tiny glimpses of hope. He said it himself. That's why he stopped treatment. He needed to instead focus on his family and doing everything he could to make the most of the time he has left spending it with them. This is exactly what Mark's spirit and heart are all about.

Mark and Jaci, you are SO loved. I have loved you since you made AND video taped my Tina's bed and her "ugly crying" over how beautiful it was.. Folks, Tina was sleeping on her Living room futon for a long time because she could not afford a bed yet. They GIFTED this bed to her. Not just the headboard Mark made, but the whole bed mattress setup to even include dust ruffle, quilt and pillow sham. That is what Christ-like lives look like. Mark, a multitude and their churches are praying for you, me and mine included. ~ Tina's Mom and Poppa love y'all.

@@calebdrake3544 Yes. Mark's been battling cancer for some time. It's rare, very aggressive, and has metastasized to his brain and chest. He decided a little while ago to stop the treatments and just have palliative care. He was in incredible pain, sick all the time, and not able to enjoy anything. Since then, he's been able to get up and enjoy time with his family and his projects.
His motto is: Party 'til we can't.

My husband had ALS/Lou Gehrig's and his brother had stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. They chose quality over quantity. We lived their lives to the fullest of their abilities. Our daughter battled breast cancer and our daughter-in-law battled thyroid cancer the same year my husband had ALS. The ladies are still going strong! Be as comfortable as you can be. I keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. {*hugs*}

None of us is getting out of here alive, some know their approximate length of time, and try to handle it, and some fail miserably. Most of us don’t know. I spent 29 years in nursing at UCLA medical center. I’ve seen it all. For me, the most important take away is that handling whatever situation life throws our way... is thee most important aspect. How we behave and react is so important. Making the most of each day should be done by everyone, every day!! But being given a dire diagnosis and still maintaining and enjoying loved ones as well as Mother Nature around us is thee best way we can live, and I applaud you, young man!!!

This one had me dizzy, sitting on the floor with laughter after seeing all the great things you've made and are working on, and picturing you playing hide and seek with your computer in the closet. We are as high on the meds as you are. Then later the medical news that you gave us hit home. Your jaw is getting worse and will make eating and talking harder. And the cancer in your nose is going to make seeing and breathing harder. This is such bad news. Still please please keep in touch with us, as much as you can.
