I haven’t finished the vid so I don’t know if you’ve mentioned but ( not a game devs opinion )if they don’t release wrath a reason may be due to them needing to redo the fallen splicers instead of using existing d2 enemies as Im pretty sure Vog,Kf and Crotas end used enemies already in d2 except bosses but considering there was a wrath emblem in final shape I’m sure it’ll be back
Wotm is still my favorite raid to this day, might be some bias in there due to getting outbreak, wotm being one of my first raids and the siva armor being just soooo cool! Last wish might be the “best” raid but wrath is my absolute favorite

But it’s gonna be a lot of work, cuz they have to also remake the splicers as a faction, having regular fallen with the splicer bosses would be weird, and the alternative where ppl want it to become a scorn raid wouldnt do great. Granted splicers didnt have too many extra mechanics compared to normal fallen, so i hold out hope even though we have outbreak in the game already, all the weapons could feed into the putbreaks perk and everything. Like a lessened down version
The devs said they had not talked about a raid reprisal for next year. But we are getting two dungeons. And they want to keep destiny 2 going for longer rather than making a d3 for a long while. I’m hoping that the expansion after final shape has a raid reprisal. Don’t know why they aren’t making one but 🤷♂️. Maybe bc of marathons release.
@@CouchwreckerYeah Lightfall had Ghosts of the Deep and whatever is coming next, Witch Queen had Duality and Spire, so we’re getting the same number of dungeons, just no raid. And everything will probably cost the same as it always does, if not more.
Just because they said they didn’t talk about it doesn’t mean it isn’t going to happen. Why would they tell us anyway? There’s only one raid left so they wouldn’t want to tell us it’s coming back and ruin the surprise.
This is something that someone else brought up and it seems to make a lot of sense to me. There are two ways in which they could bring it back, either copping out or putting in the effort but it would take much more time to develop and implement. First scenario let's say they did bring it back as a reprised raid, well Wrath had devil splicers. An enemy unit unique to the plaguelands and the DLC as a whole. If they were to bring it back in the first scenario then that would most likely mean they would not put in these unique models and behaviors just for one raid and would put generic rank and file fallen but keep the boss models and their strats in tact. The second scenario would be them announcing it would come back with some thematic season, or chapters as they will be calling them after TFS. Which would mean a whole slew of activities involving the devil splicer enemies returning and maybe the patrol, and strikes being reprised too.
This raid will not come back unless the last gen is retired. Fps struggles were super common in the raid. Now imagine a Destiny 2 version of it on the PS4. Last gen wouldn’t be able to handle it. Hell, last gen struggles with VoG during ad dense encounters.
It had an awesome soundtrack but for me kings fall will always be the best destiny raid of all time. I was still in school at the time so my life was much simpler and I had more time to play game. Had so much fun with the taken king and I will always remember destiny that way no matter how long it goes on or how bad the game gets lol
@taspenss It's good. The combo of all warlocks in PVE was Tlaloc, Ether Nova and If Materia. Paired with Nothing Manacles it made for a Void Scatter Grenades junkie dream.
Im not too sure, if we really want a destiny 3. like destiny 1 vanilla aswell as destiny 2 vanilla (and the first whole year tbh) were catastrophic. Like there won’t be any content if you’d compare it to destiny 2 or destiny 1 even currently. I personally would love to see bungie sticking to this game and constantly improving it. Bring back old destinations/raids from the dcv (like they promised us lol) and finally cut ties with old gen consoles.
If wraith were to return, what exotic would we get because if I remember correctly, outbreak perfected was the exotic, and we already have that so what would we get exotic wise?
thinking about it with all of d1 and d2 content ils like 200gb and they complain they dont want make game too big but mw2 like 150+ and mw3 going to be even more size argument doesnt work anymore if everying going to 200+
Since for the weapons I was looking at the Hard version weapons and the exotic weapons, I missed the Ether Nova Fusion Rifle. Great gun as well!

I don't just want wrath, I want the rest of the Cosmodrome restored and aged up 10 years later with the plague lands.

Old wrath emblem was in showcase, doubt bungie would not put that in an official showcase and not have it be true.
I don't know if the "2" dungeons is an extra one or if we are just getting the same number of dungeons and no raid.

fps struggles only happened in wrath due to people purposefully lagging the game ☠

You forgot the Ether Nova. I would say that the Nova was the forefather to today's Demolitionist/Wellspring combo.
