With silage you try an chop it between 65% & 74% moisture. When you chop it you add Inoculant to it before you put it in a pit to pack it and speed up fermentation.After it’s packed and tarp it will drain of moisture that usually runs down sides of pit. Hope this makes sense and helps.
The tank on choppers is for acid and preservatives to preserve the crop in the bunk so it is harder to rot. I have a small channel in ny on a 650 cow dairy farm

Squad when you tried to connect the the trailer you had the header being able to attach not the trailer. On the help menu on the top there should be a tractor icon and a implament icon . If the machine icon is darker than the implement then you will be able to attach the joskin

8970 is a good tractor. Ours has 15,000 hrs. Cool to see it on your game.
