@@swantoinepranks4651 so basically Saul goodman is character in this tv show called breaking bad and also has his own show called “better call Saul” . There was an animation made of his face, where there is a 3d model of his head and a camera that pans around it. There’s also his theme song that plays with it.

Take a portrait photo from your iPhone (front Camera), separate the depth maps and import it into blender like you did and it looks much better than the ai/algorithm depth map from a plain 2d image

the depthmap extension for automatic1111's stable diffusion webui can make much, much higher resolution depth maps from any picture.

Oh Cool! so with this displacement coming from the depth map, It's like adjusting the baseline of a pair of stereo images or videos, but the source being totally from a single 2D image or video. So then am I correct in assuming that you would just adjust the displacement to an appropriate amount of (baseline) and then export the other eye's image, while the other eye has the original image, then put em GIMP as layers if they're images and turn down the red channel on the cyan eye, and blue and green on the red eye with layer mode set on difference to produce a post conversion 3D anaglyph image? granted anaglyph is kind of out of favor, it works on all screens and even print, and I don't have a dual polarized projector and silver screen setup like the theatres do, wish I did tho!

Yes, you can do that by using Blender's displacement modifier.
I still need to work on that method to look better though.

As I understand, the Depth Map uses the Davinci Neural Engine and is only available in Resolve Studio (the paid version). The Neural Engine also does some amazing things with masking and tracking.

@@stivosaurus As I just found, you can play with it in the free version, but there is a big watermark over the image, but you can see how it works. It may be good for some things, like color correcting, but it's rudimentary.
