- John Barnett, a former Boeing employee and whistleblower, was found dead in his truck in a Charleston hotel on Saturday, March 9th. According to the BBC, Barnett was a Boeing employee until 2017. Barnett, who regularly voiced his concerns about problems at Boeing, had been in Charleston for legal interviews regarding failed tests of the emergency oxygen systems for Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The BBC reported that the Charleston County Coroner confirmed, stating the cause of death was a self-inflicted wound.

Considering Boeing has not gone down the drain, because they are still affiliated with the military industrial complex besides their commercial stuff having problems, of course they wouldn't let that blow the whistle. And the DOD would knew that if somebody blew the whistle against Boeing, commercial-wise, even their military projects would be at risk if the Company goes down with it, the good ol "Too Big To Fail" mantra.
To summarize, DOD or CIA had something to do with John's "accident" to keep Boeing up in the MIC.

I can’t imagine the pressure he was under standing up to Boeing, and losing his long career. Knowing that people’s lives are being put in danger so the board and shareholders can wring out more bonuses and dividends, all whilst not being heard. Even if he did make the decision himself, they are responsible for putting him in that mental place

There's something off with Boeing. They're one of the most reputable airline companies. The fact that one of their former employees died of suspicious means speaks volumes about the kind of company they truly are.
McDonnell Douglas joined Boeing in 1997. Quality has consistently dropped since then.
